Turkey Sandwich all the way - Husband liked
    BJ L.

Really good sandwiches. Service was fast and correct. The place was close to a medical district so it was very convenient.

I wanted to love Antonini's, especially since they've been featured on The Texas Bucket List, but the food was a bit underwhelming for me. My friend recommended this place and warned me about the sign. The Antonini's sign is actually on the window; the main sign that is visible from the street just says "Subs." It's easy to pass if you're not paying attention. The restaurant is small and kind of a hole in the wall. I was sort of confused on the ordering process, because there's not a designated area to place your order. The owner told me that once I knew what I wanted, just shout it out. It's super casual and laid back for sure. I ended up ordering a small turkey sandwich with mayo. I had to wait a few minutes as they were working on a couple of orders ahead of me but it didn't take too long. The sandwich was very filling and the portion of turkey was very generous. I did like that the turkey was sliced thin. The sandwich could have used more mayo on it. My friend said she loves the spicy relish, but I didn't get any on my sandwich. It was a bit dry though and some extra mayo would have helped. Although the food didn't blow me away, the overall experience was fine and I would give Antonini's another try.

I don't know if I came in at a bad time or what but the service was subpar and the food was not something my husband and I could eat. The meatballs seemed old and the other sandwich was just oiled and plopped on. I tried the meat from the steak and it was tough and again seseemed old. I remember coming here years ago and it was a decent sandwich. Now it just seems like there isn't much care. $35 dollars just down the drain.

Best Italian sandwich in Texas. Small dining area, great drink selection. Worth stopping by for a bite.

What a unique sub. I go often and love their subs. The cherry pepper relish gives it a nice kick.

The owner used his bare hands to make our sandwiches. Should've recorded it and called the health department

It's not bad. Just antiquated. For the price it needs to be fresher. It's better by volume than just Subway but limited in options.

Stale bread, skimpy on meat. Not sure what happened to the quality. This place used to be really good.

I called a few days before to ask and the lady was nice enough to let me know when to get on the wait list for the best possible outcome of being seated when we got there. We got there about 30 minutes before we were seated so it wasn't too bad. Remember it was a holiday and brunch is popular for mother's day. The inside is so cute and the bakery food looked so good. The hostess and server we got were so nice. I got the Brisket Benny with a side of fruit. The brisket was sooo tender and flavorful. The biscuit it was on was yummy too. My mom got the Italian Omelet with a side of cheese grits. She didn't like that the spinach still had the stems but other than that it was very good and the cheese grits were seasoned nicely. We brought them home and my 10 month old LOVED them. My sister had the bacon egg and cheese croissant with a side of potatoes and we all shared the waffle. My sister doesn't drink but she got a sprite with pineapple juice and she loved it. My mom got the bloody marry. She loved it. I'm not a fan of tomato juice BUT I'd definitely get one next time I go. I got an iced latte and added caramel sauce and it was perfect. It was definitely a good experience and I am looking forward to going again but on a non holiday this time.

Service was attentive. There are plenty of tables. The restaurant was clean…read more This is my type of breakfast. Bonus points if I can get French fries instead of breakfast potatoes. The whole meal was solid. The biscuit wasn't too dry and the bacon was thick and crispy. Would come back!
