We ate here on Christmas Eve with my Mom. We made reservations the night before because, well, you never know. Our reservations had us sitting on the patio, which was fine. Almost 80 degrees on Christmas Eve isn't unheard of. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas and very busy. Well, I'll just get right down to it. I don't typically like to give a negative review on Christmas Eve, because I know restaurants can be short staffed and busy. But it genuinely felt like our time wasn't valued. I've been a server (and for many years) so I understand people and learned it pretty quick from day 1. Our server, Jacob was ok, but it was obvious he was trying too hard. Every time he said he was going to do something, it took f.o.r.e.v.e.r. We ordered dessert and sat there for over 15 minutes still waiting for dessert. By the time it came, we were so frustrated at how we had been forgotten once we got our meal that we just wanted the check. They did offer us the dessert for free, but that wasn't the point. We ordered the zucchini fritta and waygu meatballs. Both were great! The bathroom...there are 2 stalls in the ladies bathroom. 2. Two. The line was long and by the time I got back to the table, our food had been delivered and mine was cool. My other half ordered the shrimp scampi and said his shrimp was tough and he had no idea it would come with so much pasta. Even though my food was cold, it tasted good. But there was WAY too much pasta and not enough chicken or mushrooms. Eating here was a pretty big and sad disappointment. Especially for our 2 hour drive. If you're looking for snacks and drinks, this is a place to go. If you're looking for great Italian food with great service, go to Angelo's. I won't be eating dinner here again. I might go for drinks if I can pinpoint another bathroom somewhere. read more

I haven't been to Maggiano's in probabaly a decade and I can definitely say that the prices have gone up. Which might also become a reason as to why I might not frequent it as much. This is located on the green space of baybrook mall. There is shared parking and you can park fairly close to the restaurant in a non-busy day. Bathroom and establishment is clean! Our server was awesome! He was friendly, attentive, answered all our questions, and had a great sense of humor. I wish I remembered his name but if you read this and remember serving a table of 10 with majority of his wearing orange shirts on a Friday at lunch time then this shoutout is for you!!! I had the branzino crab premium!?!? Special!?!? I can't remember the exact title but the server said it is one of their top ordered items. It was amazing and worth the money. The fish was cooked well and placed over mashed potatoes. The lobster cream sauce was heaven and you best believe I took the free bread they place on your table and dipped it in my sauce. It's a must! The side of asparagus xomplimented the dish well. Overall a 10/10 on the food and serve. There is a to go section so you can order ahead and pick up. For my recent birthday, I decided on Maggiano's. I'm not a huge foodie, but I hadn't had Italian food in a while, so I spent most of the day looking over the menu. By the time we got there, I already knew exactly what I wanted--the Jumbo Stuffed Shells. We got seated, ordered drinks, placed our order, and about 10 minutes later our waiter came back to tell me they were out of jumbo shells. Now, I get it. It's just food. Restaurants run out of things. They had plenty of other items on the menu, and I ended up ordering something else. But this is a review of my experience, and for that alone, it deserves at least a one-star deduction. Maybe two, but I'm being generous. Now for the second deduction. They bring you a small dish of grated cheese to put on your food. We're sitting there eating when an employee walks up, puts her hand on the dish, and asks if we're done with it because, "We're in a recession." I guess it was supposed to be funny, like they couldn't afford more cheese dishes. I could have told her we weren't finished with it, and I'm sure she would have put it back. For goodness sake, I didn't want to deprive the next table of their cheese. So she grabbed it and off she went. It wasn't a huge deal, but it was just...odd. The restaurant wasn't even that busy, but the whole experience felt rushed. We spent time getting dressed, drove 30 minutes to get there, and from the time we sat down until we walked out the door was only about 45 minutes. If I wanted fast food, that would've been perfect. But for a birthday dinner, I was hoping to relax a little and enjoy the evening. Oh, I almost forgot! When we walked in, the hostess asked if we'd like a booth or a table. I asked for a table because my back starts hurting if I sit in a booth very long. As we started walking, another employee abruptly and rudely said, "Put them at table..."--I don't remember the number--but it happened to be all the way in the back corner. "Nobody puts Baby in a corner." Well look at there, me and the cheese thief could go do comedian night at the Blue Oyster. Ok ok!! Now for the good part. Our waiter was great. Friendly, attentive, and probably the best part of the experience. The food was very good, and the portions were generous. Overall, I'd give Maggiano's 3 out of 5 stars. Good food, a great waiter, and generous portions were overshadowed by being told the entrée I came for wasn't available, a couple of awkward service moments, and feeling like we were being rushed through what was supposed to be a relaxing evening. Would I go back? Maybe. But there are quite a few other Italian restaurants I'd probably try before giving Maggiano's another shot. read more

This restaurant is one of my favorites. I love the Italian food they offer, and I've visited two different locations, always having a great experience. This time, I went with my family during the holidays. Although the wait was quite long (about an hour and a half), the staff was very friendly. Our waiter, Aldo, did an outstanding job, he was courteous, made us feel very comfortable, and took the time to explain each dish to my family, who were visiting for the first time. The food, as always, was delicious. The freshly baked, crunchy bread was a perfect touch. The atmosphere is cozy, with soft lighting and an elegant vibe that makes it ideal for special occasions. In the end, whether it was because of the long wait or Aldo's incredible service, the tiramisu we decided to order at the last minute was on the house. What a perfect way to end a wonderful dinner! On May 3,2026, I visited Maggiano's at Baybrook with 3 adults and an infant. We requested patio seating since the weather was nice that day. Our server was new to the restaurant, but he did a good job. We've dined at this restaurant several times before and have never encountered any issues. We ordered our food without any problems, it included dessert. When we asked for the check, we also requested to take our dessert to go. The manager then approached us and said, "I apologize for our new server; he wasn't aware that he needed to redo the ticket. Could l get your email to send you a gift card for your dessert?" I feel I have given them more than enough time to resolve this matter. read more

This is a large airy restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. We came in on a Saturday afternoon and the place was not busy. I had a smoked old fashioned (first time ever) and it was amazing. Our server Luis was professional and friendly and his recommendations were spot on. For dinner, I had the wagyu stuffed shells and hubby had the lobster carbonara. Both were delicious although hubby and I agreed that we would come back for the shells. So good. And yes we will be back. read more

My family likes to come here or we did in the past because we loved the to go meal deal they had and the food always tasted fresh and the drinks were delicious. Not quite sure why they have changed their ingredients and the way some things are prepared, but it is just not the same. And doing away with the to go meal deal they had was the worst decision. We likely will be choosing another place to go to from now on. The drinks that we ordered were inconsistent. The first round we got were the pomegranate martinis and they were awesome. Then we had the grand margarita which was absolutely disgusting so we switched back to the pomegranate martinis for our third round and they were not made the same and were sickly sweet and just not good. Should actually be 1/2 star. At least the music was good. The food was as tasteless as a high school cafeteria's. The price of everything was outrageously high. I.e chicken marsala $26.00, fettuccini Alfredo $24.00, Coke $4.95!!! The Alfredo was overloaded with basil and tasted soapy. The Marsala was not Marsala. Instead it tasted like some cheap watered down Boone's Farm. The Caesar dressing was Newman's own. The total bill for two was over $100. What a wasted birthday lunch. I recently came here for a friend's birthday dinner, and Maggiano's didn't disappoint! From the free bread to the large portion sizes, everyone loved their meal. My typical go-to is the Shrimp Diavolo, which I highly recommend, but this time, I ordered the Blackened Salmon and was pleasantly surprised! I also got a frozen peach bellini on the side, and it was so delicious and larger than expected! My favorite thing about Maggiano's was probably the $6 take-home entree with the order of any entree. Love Maggiano's, I'm so glad that all locations I've been to are all still great. I went this day to use the free meal Birthday coupon I received. When I got there I pulled up the coupon from my email and noticed the coupon expired the day before. I spoke with our waiter and he quickly said what's your name I told him and he said "Ms. Frankie it's your birthday month and we're going to celebrate you can still use the coupon." I was happy and thanked him several times. I ordered eggplant parmesan that came with a side of noodles and as usual it was delicious, a tasteful flavor and nicely cooked. My friend ordered chicken parmesan with a side of spaghetti. Once we finished eating our entree our waiter brought a plate of lemon cookies with a candle in a strawberry and you'd me happy Birthday. Have not been to this location before. The This past Saturday we visited for a table of 9. Service was very good. The restaurant is decorated like the other Maggioni's, but not the same feel as the Galleria area one. Food: I have the Crab Cakes for my entree and eat part of one. The sauce the were sitting on was not complementary to the Crab Cakes which were loaded with crabmeat. Hubs had the Salmon with Lemon Butter Sauce, small for the price. He said his Entree was delicious. I forgot we started with the Fried Zucchini and Aiolo Sauce. They are so delicious, but they fry them large is now. I prefer the "old" way, smaller cut and finger food style. We overall we all had a nice time. read more

First, our server Stephanie was very friendly and attentive (5 stars)! Fettuccine Bolognese and Eggplant Parmesan were both delicious and generous - had some to take to go. Started with Caesar salad, also delicious and a very generous portion. Those dishes 4 star. One thing that changed, which was so disappointing and made our usual experience less than perfect, was the bread service. 1 star only because there was some kind of bread. We've been going for years but I don't think we will return. The frequent changes are annoying when you go in expecting one thing and something changes every time. First it was they didn't keep the oil or sweeteners on the table and we had to sit and wait for those, then they changed the fettuccine and I liked it better before, now they changed the bread to something you'd expect at a steak house not an Italian restaurant. This was my fourth visit to Maggianos for their fixed service Thanksgiving dinner. Our server was excellent. We ordered a pitcher of sangria, which we enjoyed. I was disappointed that they no longer serve a pre-dinner appetizer. The sweet rolls were very good. Very tasty salads. The turkey and ham weren't special. We should have been served extra gravy for our garlic whipped potatoes. They were very dry. The ziti dish was dry and separated, not saucy enough. The sausage stuffing was just ok. I wish I would've gotten our servers name so I could compliment her here because she was fantastic! We came in on a Tuesday evening with my boyfriend's cousin and her husband. On the way in, we noticed a sign outside that said "Tuesday is Guy's Night" and made sure to ask our server about what specials this weekly event had. At first, she let us know that "Guys Night" was only allowed in the bar area until 7pm. We were a little bummed, but we accepted the facts and continued looking over the menu. She then came back a few minutes later to tell us that she spoke to her manager and they would allow us (this one time) to enjoy $5 whiskey drinks and 1/2 off a selection of appetizers for Guy's Night! Woohoo! We super appreciated her going out of her way to get these specials extended for us. We enjoyed the Tomato Bruschetta and Cheesy Bread (I think that's what it's called? Lol) for appetizers. The bread was AMAZING! It was super soft and gooey on the inside in a delicious way that I'd never experienced before. My boyfriend and I shared the mushroom ravioli as we are vegetarian and it was fantastic!! The sauce was creamy, cheesy and flavorful. More often than not, we've found that white pasta sauces lack flavor, so we were pleasantly surprised by the flavorful taste of the sauce that covered our raviolis. I decided to go to the Bay Brook mall for shopping and lunch out. As a newbie to the area, this is one area I haven't explored. I discovered there are TONS of restaurants here, but when I spotted Magliano's, I decided to go Italian. The patio looked so inviting! My server was Mari. She was ok. I didn't feel like I got excellent service, but it was not bad service. Maybe she was busy inside. It wasn't crowded outside, but she didn't check on me as much as I would have liked. I ordered the Shrimp Scampi and a $6 take-home of lasagna. As a single person, I figured I would get three meals out of this (I actually got 4!). I ate on the patio as it was the perfect day for it. The view was nice, the birds were chirping, there was a nice breeze, and the 40's music was pleasant. If you were inclined, I suppose you could dance on the courtyard to Fred Astaire singing "Dancing Cheek to Cheek!" The meal came with soft, crunchy Italian bread with dipping oil made at your table. It was very good! The Scampi was absolutely delicious! It was creamy, tangy, buttery, lemony, just right! The shrimp was cooked to perfection. Definitely a hit! I took home half of the Scampi and the $6 lasagna. I ate half of the lasagna for dinner. It was very rich - lots of cheese, nice flavor, and easy to heat. A bargain at $6!
