    Italian Wedge Salad

Service was excellent and fast. Food came out hot and fresh made to order. The restaurant was nice and clean and had a steady flow of customers. Food was really good with a lot of chores on the menu.

Our second visit and it was better than the first. Anniversary dinner 5 minutes from the house and fantastic food and service. Best Lasagna I have had in years! Braised short ribs & tortellini, and the White chocolate raspberry bread pudding were delicious as well.

I really enjoyed the takeout of Angel Hair Bolognese I ordered. It was very delicious, meaty, full of very fresh n tender noodles and just the right amount of cheese too. This is one of my go-to here along with the pesto pasta. I love a good vodka pasta and should definitely consider trying it with the angel hair to really bring out the taste. One of the best bolognese in the Houston region and definitely the best one in the Pearland / Friendswood / Webster areas imo. Great, friendly service on this quick stop.

The food here was pretty good and the portions are good as well so I was able to finish everything and still have a full stomach. The service was great too we got checked up on regularly so that was awesome. The overall environment was nice too and the reviews saying that it was "too bright" made no sense because I thought it was a good amount of brightness in there and nothing too overwhelming. Don't listen to those grumpy comments and try this place out. I would definitely come back here in the future!

This place is ducked off in old Pearland. The drinks were good but but the food was mid. For the prices you'd think it was much more quality.

After my recent visit my appeal to candor and adore Taglia has faded. Arrived at 7:50 - UNAWARE they close at 8 (strange for suburbia). Was rushed to order, told there was no bread - which is a large reason I came, the BEST bread, and got to enjoy the staff cleaning and rushing us out the door, then was asked if we could our food boxed up and walk out the side entrance because the main door was locked. Just appalled.

Yesterday, we tried Taglia while visiting in Pearland for the first time. I absolutely loved the vibe and decor of this place! So well done. We were greeted and seated immediately, and the service was excellent from start to finish! Our food was very good, and I appreciated the value of the lunch menu. Great variety as well. Everything was served in a timely manner. (We were on a time constraint) My only complaint was my pizza was just a tad bit overcooked on the bottom and a bit dry. (And I do like my pizza well done) But not enough to spend time sending back. Everyone in our party of 5 enjoyed their food! The complimentary bread & marinara they serve is very nice, but just a bit bland. (Tip- don't ever complain about free food!!) But all in all, this is a really great place and I would recommend it. Perfect for lunch, and even a fun date night spot! Loved the fun and beautiful Christmas decor! Our crew will return.

    Campanelle Alla Panna

Our group got the chicken piccata with spaghetti and marinara sauce, chicken parmesan, bruschetta, campanelle alla panna (pasta with mushroom cream sauce), a ravioli dish that came with sugarosa sauce, manicotti bites, the calamari, and the Nutella strawberry pizza for dessert. First, the good: The fresh rolls were they tastiest part of the meal. They were fluffy and so soft, especially right out of the oven. You can ask for olive oil to dip them in as well. The spaghetti with marinara sauce that came with the chicken piccata and chicken parmesan was good, with the noodles having a distinctive chewiness to them. The appetizers and other pasta dishes were decent. The not so good: The chicken piccata was very salty, and the bruschetta was a bit burnt. The strawberry Nutella pizza crust was also really hard. Parking was easy. Service was okay, a little slow but nice enough. Atmosphere was family friendly and casual. It was brightly lit, and there were a lot of kids there for dinner.

I was in the mood for pasta and decided to indulge in the lunch special just to try it out. The food was okay, but nothing to rave about. What really turned me off from trying them again was that they had 10 people standing around the bar and check in and no one bothered to greet me. I finally asked where pick up was located and was directed to the bar. Mind you, they're across from each other so surely someone would have heard I was asking for a pick up order. Nope. I stood at the bar with the same nonchalant and umbothered response I received coming in. I finally waved someone down and asked for my order. I was glad to leave. For starters, we got the Burrata Dip, which is a large mozzarella ball atop a bed of arugula and drizzled with pesto and honey. The cheese was very fresh and it was so good with the toasted bread the gave us. We loved it. We also shared a large greek salad which was plenty enough for two and came with lots of great toppings like sliced cucumber, artichokes, olives, and more. They have many pizza choices here with a large variety of toppings. You can get all meat, all veggies, and various combinations in between that include chicken or prosciutto. They also offer square pizzas if that's your thing. We opted for the Mulberry Supreme which included sausage, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, and beef on a medium-thin type crust that had the perfect amount of char and minimal flop. The toppings were piled on and everything was fantastic. We got a large and took a third of it back to our hotel room. Our servers were very attentive and checked on us frequently plus kept our drinks full. The food also came out quickly. My only complaint here is the inside was very stuffy and humid. Nice atmosphere and just off Pearland Pkwy so easy to get to, and we had a pretty nice/helpful waitress to boot. The recipes were generally fine enough, though wouldn't recommend the lentil soup (very odd flavor for a Greek place). BUT. You may have left the restaurant a little hungry before - maybe you were especially famished walking in, or shared a little too much with your family. But have you ever ordered a side of potatoes and gotten...three slices (and a nub, thrown in as an afterthought)? I guess this is for the discerning customer who wanted the side, but not really? Thanks for making that discerning choice for me! Or maybe for someone that wanted that child-sized taster portion of potatoes. Oh but wait! For 5 bucks, you TOO can get "8 oz" of spuds in all its starchy glory. It's a shame - the fry job is done well. But given the midget handful of greens on the Opa bowl, I guess the economy is rough on all of us. Seriously guys, I don't think it used to be this bad guys.
