Delicious food, amazing servers, atmosphere, it is one amazing package!! The bread/rolls, you won't be able to eat just one

Customer service is everything. It matters to me because it sets the tone for the entire dining experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt mildly neglected, no smile, no warmth, and no welcoming personality at all. I initially chalked it up to someone simply having a bad day. After being seated, I waited for someone to take my drink order. And I waited. Several servers walked past me without saying a word or even acknowledging that I was there. At one point, a server stood toward the back of the restaurant, looked directly at me, and then walked away. After another five to ten minutes of being completely ignored, I approached the manager, who was joking around with the hostess. I politely explained what had happened and then left. I understand restaurants get busy and employees have bad days. I don't expect perfection. But acknowledging your customers costs nothing. A smile, a greeting, or simply saying, 'Someone will be with you shortly' can make all the difference. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling like customer service is becoming a lost art. read more

My family and I stopped here for a quick dinner. There were quite a few high schoolers working, but they were all friendly, attentive, and did a great job. The Fried Calamari was decent, with a crispy and well-cooked coating. Unfortunately, the Caesar Salad was soggy and tasted watered down. The Veal Parmigiana was somewhere in between. The veal itself was nicely breaded and cooked, but the overly generous amount of sauce and mozzarella made the dish soggy. The pasta was even more disappointing. It tasted like standard boxed pasta topped with a spoonful of overly sweet marinara, and after one bite, I had no desire to eat more. Overall, the service was pleasant, but the food was pretty underwhelming. There are definitely better options if you're looking for Italian food. read more

Maybe I come on an off day. My cousins had bragged about this place plenty of timess over the years. I was in the mood for pasta and decided to indulge in the lunch special just to try it out. The food was okay, but nothing to rave about. What really turned me off from trying them again was that they had 10 people standing around the bar and check in and no one bothered to greet me. I finally asked where pick up was located and was directed to the bar. Mind you, they're across from each other so surely someone would have heard I was asking for a pick up order. Nope. I stood at the bar with the same nonchalant and umbothered response I received coming in. I finally waved someone down and asked for my order. I was glad to leave. Very unappreciative of customers and with subpar food, Italiano's you don't have the luxury to be dismissive of customers. I pass. And you should too. read more

I'd say this was a step (or two) above Olive Garden. Very rich tasting...authentic. I had the pepperoni pizza and chicken Alfredo. Very fresh, hot and tasty! The staff was nice too. Also the servers were so rude , they saw me standing around needing help, but ignored me and seemed as if I was bothering them. Stopped in for takeout. Whenever I'm in the area I enjoy stopping here. The entrees come with either a house or Ceasar salad and delicious buttery garlic knots. I ordered the chicken florentine. The creamy garlic sauce with pepper, tomatoes and spinach pair nicely with the perfectly cooked fettuccine pasta. I don't eat pasta often but this is a dish I get everytime I visit this place. Italian food is one of my favorite cuisines. I work in the medical field and we had a representative bring us lunch from this location and everything was so fresh. We had garlic knots, fettuccine Alfredo and Greek salad. Fettuccine Alfredo is my favorite Italian dish and they made it perfectly if they weren't so far I would eat here weekly. Italiano's brings a ton of valuable options to Pearland. With a menu as long as a page out of a newspaper, there's surely at least one dish for any Italian cuisine newbie (me) to find interest in. I opted for the chicken ariabata (forgot to snap a pic. Oops!) and shared the extra large NY Supreme Pizza. I left the restaurant beyond full with plenty of leftovers. Their complimentary bread surpasses any other Italian restaurant I've been to. Its combination of oil and seasoning is clearly one that has had a lot of thought put into it. Good luck trying to save some stomach space for the dishes you actually ordered instead of asking for a refill. The chicken ariabata tasted decent. Its ingredient list and presentation both made the dish seem very appetizing, but the sauce contained too much salt and could use some more savoriness. 3.5/5. For only $17, a supreme pizza has no business being this huge. I'm a little skeptical in calling it NY style though; I could easily fold the slices but the crust feels a little too puffy for that title. Regardless, I thoroughly enjoyed running through 3 humongous slices. 4/5. Medina did a great job serving our group of 8. Attentive, nice, and made an effort to learn how to say "you're welcome" in Chinese for the two grandparents at the table who spoke limited English. Our entire order came to the table in 25 minutes for a measly total of $160, gratuity already included! I'd love to give this restaurant another visit. read more

I really like this spot and order from here often through Uber Eats since it's a little far from me. The food is always good and the pricing is fair. My only issue is that the portions have started getting smaller, and the garlic knots are often short -- we'll order a dozen but only receive about half. Italianos has always been one of my favorite restaurant, however, the food and service have declined. I have eaduly eaten there over 50 times. Was there yesterday and the person was with asked for the salmon to be pink in the middle instead it was way overcooked. None of it was eaten, but since the manager didn't see it it was still in the bill. Waited 15 minutes for a cappuccino to find out they couldn't make as they were out of milk. Kitchen service was slow. Soup seemed much smaller than norma. Won't be back for a long time as service was poor 3 of the last 4 visits. To be clear it is not the servers. Dress code: casual, came in with shorts and t shirt, wouldn't look out of place in something a little more dressed up though. The food here is pretty good! Some things being better than others. The complimentary bread they give you is a good 3/5, a little too greasy. We ordered the meatball appetizer that we definitely loved and will be having again. Super soft and cheesy, best combination! I had a Caesar Salad as well before my meal that was ok. Definitely have had better, will not be getting again. My entree was the chicken parm which is a mixed review, the pasta was very good and creamy, loved. The chicken itself was ok, but all in all still a good meal and the portion was very filling. I couldn't finish it. Lastly, the Meat Pizza was also pretty yummy! Super cheesy, who doesn't love that? Service was ok, we were there on a Sunday after church so it was a little busy. We didn't have a wait at all but we did have to remind our waitress about some things several times. I've only been here a handful of times for takeout n have had hit or miss dishes. Earlier I picked up an order of Angel Hair with Meat Sauce and Sausage. It was very delicious, generous in every sect of the meal and juicy in every bite too. The meat sauce was meaty, sauce and very well-seasoned without being like some ketchup sauce. The saltiness was solid in a good way and the tomato base was great too. The noodles were very well-cooked and moist. If you want a solid, basic pasta n meat sauce in this area outside Houston, this would certainly do. The sausage was very good and savory that could even pass as homemade or at least come from a good supplier. It was cooked all the way with some outer crisp containing a more crumbly inside unlike store ones that seem like a one-piece in filling. Great, friendly service on this visit. read more

Came in on a Monday night. Very family friendly ambiance. Large dining area with many tables. There's a small bar area near the front door with a couple of TVs showing sports. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and there was no wait to be seated. For it being a slow night I was surprised how long it took for our food to come out to the table. We started off with complementary garlic knots. They were fresh out the oven and super soft with a generous amount of garlic butter on top. We decided to go with the fried calamari as an appetizer. Nothing really special about it. It came with marinara sauce that was clear from a jar. As my main course I picked the chicken piccata. The chicken itself was a bit overcooked and tough. The sauce was very good and there was a good amount of crapes. The angel hair pasta was cooked correctly. For desert we had the carrot cake. This was a pretty big slice of cake. Let me start by saying that I was a FREQUENT customer at Italianos. Recently my friend and I went for dine in service and we found a hair, baked solidly into one of the garlic knots. Upon notifying management their response was essentially, "I'm so sorry, can we bring you some more bread." There was no offer to comp our drinks, our meal or portion of it, or even provide a gift certificate for a future meal. There was NO recompense. Free stuff is not always the goal, but truthfully, if this happens in your establishment, the LEAST you could do is OFFER more than an apology. For the restaurant, this will just be an unfortunate occurrence. For me, I can no longer enjoy one of my fave Italian spots not only because of the incident, but also because of their response. I've been to this restaurant at least 3-4 times over the past and it has always been good. The other night, 6/24/26, and we all enjoyed our meal which was very tasty and the atmosphere was great. Didn't start off good because the greeter was anything but, but our waitress made up for it by giving us great service throughout. The bread at the beginning was so good, we had to literally stop ourselves from asking for seconds because we wouldn't have had room for the main dish. As an appetizer, the fried calamari was very tasteful to say the least. I had to go with a lasagna we had solid flavor but not nearly enough meat for my taste. This restaurant scores very high with me. I have a passion for good, I mean good Italian cuisine and Italiano's is true to its name! The food is absolutely delicious! Everyone in my party love their order. I had the Linguine Pescatore which as absolutely amazing & a Caesar Salad, My daughter had the shrimp Scampi & Caesar Salad which she loved. My nephew & niece visiting from Ohio had the Eggplant Parmigiana & the Chicken Florentine respectively w garden salads and they raved about their meal. The Garlic Knots were a big hit as well. The he Chianti was very palatable and generously poured. And, of course I just had to take home my favorite dessert, Crème Brûlée, which did not disappoint. The restaurant was quite busy on a Sunday evening when we arrived at 6pm and almost every table was filled when we left at 8pm, which speaks to the popularity, which is always a good sign! We have been visiting Italiano's for a while. Every single thing we've tried has been fantastic. And they give very large portions. I crave their fettuccine alfredo. And their pizza is the best around. After hurricane Beryl came through the area, most people had lost power. Italiano's had theirs restored the day of the hurricane and opened for business. The best entree was the chicken florentine, super creamy sauce with a good amount of chicken and vegetables. The other entrees were decent as well. I was really looking forward to the garlic knots, but they ended up being a bit dry and the inside had no flavor. Pricing was reasonable, and service was fine. We have been to Italianos several times now and overall good. My kids really love the pizza here, that's pretty much all they will order from here. The cheese pizza and the pepperoni pizzas are their favorites. I have gotten the Italian Wedding soup and it's kinda meh. Like this is on the menu because they need soup options only, it's not something I would order again. It was just kinda bland and not memorable at all. I have had the lunch portion of the sausage and peppers sandwich, and it was not the greatest. I think they use the wrong type of bread maybe. It just ends up a soggy mess. The Caesar salad is something I will order every time we go to Italianos. It's peppery and just has great flavor. The calzones are massive, and my teenager absolutely loves them. Same dough and sauce as the pizza, so I can see why he loves them. The Manicotti is also very good here, my husband loves this dish, I think it's all the ricotta cheese that he loves the most. My absolute favorite thing from here is the Linguine Pescatore. It has mussels, clams, shrimp, and crawfish with a white wine sauce. It's really what keeps me coming back to Italianos. It's never been too fishy or overwhelming, I really love it. They also give the table baskets of garlic knots that are amazing. Entrees were what we come to expect from our last dinning experience at Italiano's. Service still great. Friendly and tentative. The only down side, their garlic bread / knots were not what we were used to. Tonight they were very dry and almost like they were old. I love how reasonable the prices are for the amount of food that you receive. I ordered the chicken Parmesan, and substituted the spaghetti for fettuccini Alfredo. When I tell you, the Alfredo was so creamy and filled with flavor! Also, I don't know what they use for the bread but it is so delicious!! Same with the salad as well. Upon entering, this place is such a cozy spot. It's small but it makes you feel like you're at home somewhat. It is definitely a family friendly environment. The servers here are always friendly and although the weekend can get packed, it seems as the team knows how to work well with each other. We always get the calamari since it's a decent we portion and pasta / calzone portions are huge! My favorite is the Carbonara, instead of using bacon they actually put ham chunks.
