I had 2 waitresses, I think 1 was training the other. both my waitresses was very friendly. the Server on my check is Erykah. my waitress that was the trainer was very attentive and knew the menu and restaurant well. When I ordered, she recommended me the lunch special which saved me money on the same meal plus I also got fries on the side. She's considerate and thoughtful, also got me everything would have needed, condiments, extra napkins, moist wipes, etc. without me having to ask. Well what can you say really...I mean it's another Sports bar big screen extravaganza with young ladies in skimpy outfits with lots of make-up, black eyeliner and tattoos. We were there sort of early on a Monday afternoon around 4:30. Not too many people. It was my first time there being from Mobile. My brother-in-law was scheduled to have all his teeth extracted the following morning, so I wanted to take him out for a bite to eat before his diet consisted of soup and Jell-O. The set-up was nice with TV's galore. There was an outside patio area and the seating area inside was very large...I mean it is Texas, right?!?!? I was digging the military "bombshell" theme with artillery and 1000lbs shells sitting around...it was pretty slick. Our waitress didn't seem to give two shits on the other hand that she had customers. She walked up and asked what we would like, I asked about the 3-dollar draft Modelo Monday on the placard on the table, she said she didn't know because she didn't normally work on days. The chicken in the wrap had a weird taste to it, but it wasn't the worst. Just not as good as I expected. Unfortunately, the pasta never arrived to the table. Battle of New Orleans Cocktail: Large glass of a sweet grapefruit heavy drink. Not balanced and honestly not very enjoyable. Boiled Crawfish: They had a special $6LB price. So our party opted to get a few pounds each, big mistake. The crawfish seemed to be cooked fine, and were a good size. However the spice that was used in the boil was bad. It had zero salt, and no discernable flavor/spice, except for what I could only describe as liquid crab boil. This gave plenty of heat, but no real flavor. This did not make the meal uneatable and we did finish all the crawfish. BUT, later that evening some of our party had to vomit and others the next day had diarrhea. We all believe this was the result of the crawfish. In general, Bombshells is probably an ok place to meet up with some friends. But be warned the drinks are mediocre, and the food prices are high. As a woman, I wouldn't think I enjoy coming to a place that, let's be honest, geared towards men. But the girls are always sweet to my husband and I. Food is actually really good. Honestly any of their chicken options are my favorite. The chicken doesn't look like it's pumped with junk and they don't overly bread it either. Managers are always nice and make sure to come check on us as well. My lack of 5 starts is honestly the now lack of brunch items. I'm not a chicken and waffle woman, but these were sooooo amazing. Came in Saturday afternoon for a quick bite. This is quite a large sports bar and when you walk in you're hit with a roar from the TVs but it balances out when you sit down. I think that this is the first restaurant where I haven't felt cold. The service was quick and attentive with no chitchat. Our food was surprisingly yummy, I had loaded fries and hubby had WMDs. I went to Bombshells with a co-worker of mine a few weeks ago when we were staying in the hotel sharing the parking lot. The place was fine with respect to atmosphere and food. It was a quick meal and we paid our tab. I always manually calculate the tip, so I added over 20% tip (22% tip POST TAX; Picture Included). I had to submit my expenses for work, so I go through my credit card charges and notice the charge is more than what my receipt states (picture included). The waitress (Kaitlyn) changed my tip from $7.00 (22%) to $14.88 (47.2%). If you look at the receipt, it is easy to see how they could change it to this amount. Also, if you notice, the "Tip Amounts" on the bottom of the receipt are not correct either. IE: the 15% they show is actually 17.3% and the 20% is actually 23.1%. and this is on the TAXED amount, not pre-tax, so the actual percentages are higher. read more

Came here for a calendar signing for one of my friends. When we got there, we didn't even see the signing booth because it was all the way in the back hidden. After looking lost for a minute a hostess came up to us and directed us to where we needed to be. We ended up eating at the restaurant. At first the waitress was very attentive. we were not sure what to order since my boyfriend and i are on the whole 30 so she kept coming back every minute until we decided. This is a huge location you can miss in Pearland off Hwy 288. Lots of parking outside. A lot of indoor and outdoor seating. Was here for a friends calendar release party so we have a private area in the back of restaurant. Absolutely horrid service. We came out specifically to have dinner and watch the Knicks game. We arrived almost an hour before the game and asked for the game to be played in our area. We asked our server at least 4 times and 2 other servers to change it to the game before and once we received our meal. An hour and a half later of being seated and finishing our meals... still no game. All the servers literally were just hanging out amongst each other and on their phones. Barely paid any attention to customers at tables who were trying to get their attention. I ordered the ribs, was really looking forward to them until they came out, looked charred or burnt. I've always heard the meat or the bone should not fall off when you cut one and try and eat it...I couldn't even pick one up to take a bit...had to use a fork or my fingers. I felt they were over cooked and whatever sauce they put over them is to cover up how charred, burnt or overcooked they are. Let's start with the positives. This is clearly the place to be to watch games and fights. It was packed and had great energy when the fight was on. Loved that they had little TVs by the table. Super beneficial for people who need glasses but don't wear them lol. Now, the negatives... the food. I was told that they were known for their wings via our waitress. Well, after having their wings, I'm not quite sure why. My wings were probably the worst wings I've ever had. The issue appeared to be that they failed to season their wings prior to adding the sauce flavoring to the wings. The sauce was good, however, the flavorless chicken overpowered the sauce. Making it very hard to eat. The mistakes with orders. My friend ordered a burger. The burger came out barely cooked. They took it back and brought it back, however, when they brought it back, the bacon from his burger was missing. It took probably 20 minutes to get the bacon for his burger, which to me is very ridiculous. I probably wouldn't go back for food, but most definitely would go back to watch games etc. read more

I stopped by for dinner on a Sunday and sat out on the patio. One thing you often experience at spots like these is slow service. This wasn't the case at Bombshells. Our waitress did a fantastic job of stopping by regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. What's nice is they have happy hour every day, including weekends, until $7. We took advantage of that with some discounted beers. For my meal, I went with the Captain Crunch chicken tenders appetizer which comes with fries. Even though it's an appetizer, it's entree-sized. Three large chicken tenders and a generous portion of fries. The food isn't amazing but it's standard for a concept like this. We also shared some nachos with steak, cheese, jalapenos, and onions. I wouldn't say it's good for children because of the revealing attire that the waitresses and hostess wear, although I have seen kids at the restaurant before. The lack of attire the waitresses and hostess wear is one of the main reasons I prefer to visit a different restaurant/bar. However, the menu is like a book with all sorts of food options. There truly is food available to fulfill all tastebuds. We started with drinks and an appetizer. We got the Platoon Platter where you pick 3 different appetizers. We had the southwest egg rolls, torpedo cheese sticks, and chicken tenders. For drinks I had the Ft. Bennington Tea and Mayday Margarita. Neither tasted the way I thought they would. They come in large glasses so definitely worth the money. The taste was not too tart not too sweet so they were good, but they were not very strong. Even after the 2 large drinks I was absolutely fine. For my meal I got the Renegade Pasta. It came with penne pasta in creamy alfredo sauce and blackened chicken and shrimp with broccoli and mushrooms. You also get a thick slice of garlic bread and a side salad. I am extremely disappointed in the service we received. My husband ordered a certain beer that took 10 minutes for the waitress to come and tell him they don't have it. He orders a coors instead, another 10 mins my husband finally asks if they've made it. The waitress says they're still working on it...it's a COORS and there about 15/20 people in the entire restaurant. At 4:30 pm, I'd expect a little faster service. Our 3 orders came out 3 different times, with about 6-8 mins in between. Having small kids with you, that's not ok if theirs isn't the first order out.
