Grabbed breakfast at Yard House during a layover and it was such a win! We were seated quickly, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. Miguel, our server, was super friendly and attentive the whole time. My eggs were perfectly scrambled, light & fluffy, the bacon was crispy, and the potatoes were seasoned just right. Plus, it came with toast and a fruit cup, which was a nice bonus. Definitely a great spot to fuel up before a flight!

Pleasant surprise to see a yard house in the Houston airport, especially serving breakfast as that's not their normal thing. Breakfast menu was decent in terms of selections and food was really good. Also came out quickly and servers were on it. Great little time killer in the airport!

A very surprising opportunity to check Yard House out in an airport. This is the first I've seen and it's at the Hobby Airport in Houston. The wait was somewhat substantial on a mid day Sunday. Not really shocked at that considering the brand of the restaurant. The host was nice enough and put my wife and I name down saying it found be 25 minutes. We were not in a hurry. We did scope out potential seating on the bar, but it did not work out. After about 10 minutes and several names called that had bailed we were seated. The service was pretty prompt considering they were slammed. Our waiter was efficient and nice enough getting our drink orders, then food order was placed. We were both in the mood for burgers and fries. Although the menu is scaled down it's solid. Drinks cranked out quickly. Considering how busy they were I timed how long it would take for food to arrive. It took 26 minutes which was not bad for us, but may be for others. Everything was correct, hot and really delicious! Although no follow up was needed there was no follow up. This was the only blip on service. Checkout was a bit more complicated using meal vouchers from Southwest. The server said they had issues with a hard copy voucher versus a digital. Ultimately all was resolved. I would absolutely recommend Yard House in the Hobby AirPort. Clean restaurant, delicious food and solid service.

Stopped here during a layover and it was decent. The tables are a bit cramped, but the staff were friendly and attentive. I ordered the breakfast potatoes, which were good but could have been hotter and crispier. Would I stop here again? Probably, if I needed a quick bite. The service was fast and efficient, which is exactly what you want in an airport bar.

My husband and I stopped by Hobbs airport for a layover. Boy was I happy to see a Yardhouse here! For such a small location they still have a great selection of options for drinks and food! The hostess did a great job informing us before hand of a wait due to system being down so we were fully expecting to wait longer to seat and for food items. Our server Anthony gave EXCELLENT service. I could definitely tell they were a little stressed out but they handled everything perfectly!

I was surprised by how few people were brunching there this morning, but was very pleased with how quick and courteous the service was. Our waiter was extremely attentive to details and very honest about the different dishes that were most popular and those who were not his favorite. To start, I had the impossible meat samosas. You could not convince me that there wasn't any beef in those perfectly crispy, flaky and flavorful mini bites. I could've eaten much more than the three they came with it. My beef hash was just as good. The meat was tender, and served over an easy cooked egg and savory, peppered potatoes and onions, it was a brunch match made in Heaven. Unfortunately, the cremé brulee French toast was a little bit dry, but the candied pecans that came along with it was good. I was also shocked that they had $20 mimosa carafes and you had the option to pour it yourself or have it prepared for you. For this reason alone, and the spaciousness and the full bar, I don't understand why there were only about three parties in the place on a Saturday morning! It did appear as if there would be a private dinner upstairs later on on because I saw some placemats with the guest of honors name included on them. This would be a perfect venue for any sort of birthday dinner or even brunch wedding reception or something. The windows, the chandelier lighting, the exposed brick walls and duct work, gave the place an industrial feel overall. I'd like to return for happy hours and hope that the Indians samosas are on the menu .

The ambience is giving very sexy mode, not rowdy, but you can tell this is definitely a hang out spot for adults. It is dark in there they do have table lamps, but I love it. My child did come with so this kid friendly. The food was definitely a nine out of 10 And not so much of just the taste I'm factoring in the presentation as well. The sticky rice was amazing. I mean the shrimp had the perfect type of heat mind you I did Houston restaurant week. So I got three course meal for $39. My first course was the sticky rice 9.5 out of 10 My second course was the fried chicken smothered with gravy and mushroom mashed potatoes and kale greens .. I'm gonna give it a eight out of 10 because I did not like the mushrooms. This gravy wasn't seasoned very well, but it was still very good. My last course was the brownie and oh my God it was absolutely delicious I think that was like my favorite part. I really wanted to order another brownie because it was really good. Overall, I have to get this place at nine out of 10. I'm definitely coming back to try some other meals.

Nut allergy friendly: It was mentioned that nuts aren't really used in their brunch, so that's great. Time-to-Order: 40 Minutes Parking: A small lot that you enter from the Yale Street side. It's bigger than it looks because it loops around the building but there still isn't that much parking, maybe 20-30 spots total. Arrived around 11:40AM on a Saturday morning and found parking easily. You seat yourself and waiters will come find you. This happened relatively quickly for us as we sat outside. There is a patio and indoor seating options. Definitely gives off neighborhood bar vibes, very iconic of a Heights bar. Getting our meals took quite a while - Definitely a spot to take your time, potentially enjoy the weather if it's not too swelteringly hot, and order a cocktail or two. I ordered the Spicy Shakshuka (4/5), which came with four pieces of pita. I requested some more pita and got four extra pieces (5/5 service). The dish itself was good, with the right amount of heat and actually quite filling with a surprisingly good fresh pita bread that was just crispy enough on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I think it's a bit pricey for the size. Downside: The complimentary water doesn't come out cold, which is unfortunate on a hot Houston day. I will definitely come back to try its cocktails, as many people were enjoying one. Overall, I can definitely see why it is a cornerstone of the Heights bar scene.

The pappardelle with the wide noodles was so fun and there was lots of parm which I liked, and the lemon zest was a nice touch. The squash was soft and I loved the ricotta. The campanelle was really unique with the crawfish and the spicy sauce, the noodle shape was so fun. The cheeseburger is tiny but mighty, super juicy and cheesy. The fries were perfectly crispy. Considering the recent shutter of other places (#2) within the hospitality umbrella, it's not too big of a surprise that Wooster's would also be in the crosshairs. The space was always a nice mix of indoor and outdoor seating, which combined with its dedicated parking lot made this an easy drinking outlet for all kinds of occasions. The intimate indoor space was lovely and well ventilated, and it felt like there wasn't ever a moment where the bar wasn't slammed. The outdoor space was much of the same, with lots of tables and chairs, and even the trendy swing chairs facing the city. The only thing that was a little bit of a liability were those open flame heaters; it would only take on person to accidentally walk into one or trip onto it. For libations, the drinks were well priced, well made, and always potent. I appreciated the aesthetics, as well as the bartenders who made them. The only part that wasn't exciting was the limited food menu, which did its part as munchies for the drink heavy crowd, but was mediocre otherwise. The space is already undergoing the new facelift of a separate concept, one of which I hope will do the area justice, just as much as Wooster's did. ____________ (#1) The Kirby Group. (#2) R.I.P.
