[[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is definitely Instagram-worthy, with a cute aesthetic and plenty of spots to snap pictures.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We visited after a graduation, and they were very accommodating with our large group. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to the high reviews for me. I ordered the habanero short ribs, which were just decent. Some pieces were fatty, others were tough, and there was a sweeter flavor than I expected. My husband's fajitas were also just okay and seemed borderline overcooked. I also got the sense they may have been understaffed, because it took a very long time for our food to come out. The biggest misses for me were the extremely watery salsa and hard, flavorless chips. To end on a high note, the drinks were very good, and I would definitely recommend stopping in for cocktails.

Tequila 45 was just okay. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is definitely Instagram-able. They did a great job with the decor & lighting inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My husband and I walked in and was able to grab a seat at the bar. The reason i'm giving them 3 stars is because of the service. The food took extremely long to come out. The bartender/waitress barely checked on us. We actually liked the food & drinks, but we felt like an afterthought. I didn't really feel a warm welcome dining here. It's a nice spot, but we probably wouldn't return.

Was in Houston for a day and stumbled upon this establishment. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When you walk in the place it has very festive ambiance with trendy areas in the restaurant to take pics for social media.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service is friendly and fast while paying attention to the table. I ordered the chicken fajitas with double beans. The food was really good. Cooked perfect with good taste. When/if back in town, I will be coming back.

    fantastic bar!

I don't think it was my imagination -- this was easily some of the best (if not THE best) Mexican food I've had in my life. The tortillas were 2-die-4..........so fluffy. The chicken and beef fajitas were perfection. The service was TOP NOTCH. Always making sure I was taken care of. Tortilla chips and salsas -- SO good. Nice kick -- both the green and orange. I have nothing more to add other than this place rocks! Two big thumbs up. A must visit if you're near Hobby. Can't wait to try again. (Better than Pappacitos if I must say!)

A Must-Visit Dining Experience in Houston! One of the greatest things about this restaurant is... well, everything! Let's start with what we all come for -- the food. From the lamb to the fish, and even the salsa served with the chips -- every bite was incredible. The flavors were bold, fresh, and perfectly balanced. The drinks? Fantastic. Honestly, I'd recommend ordering a little bit of everything just to experience how consistently amazing this place is across the board. Service That Sets the Standard The service here is outstanding. I've been twice now, and both times the team has impressed me. The manager personally came by our table to check in -- not just out of obligation, but out of genuine care. You don't have to go searching for a manager here; they're already out front making sure your experience is top-notch. That kind of proactive hospitality is rare and deserves major praise. Decor, Ambiance & Photo-Ready Vibes The decor is fabulous -- stylish, vibrant, and full of character. It's the perfect backdrop for selfies or those who live for the 'gram. As an amateur photographer, I'll admit I was tempted to turn the whole place into a photo shoot. Every corner has charm and energy that complements the dining experience beautifully. The Atmosphere: Day or Night, It Works During the day, the atmosphere is family- and friend-friendly -- great for brunch or a laid-back meal. But come evening, it transforms into one of Houston's go-to spots for a night out. Its proximity to nearby hotels makes it a convenient and inviting option for travelers looking for great food, good drinks, and a lively yet welcoming vibe. If I ever have a long layover in Houston, this will be my first stop. The combination of food, service, and atmosphere makes it one of those rare places you keep thinking about long after you've left. Trust me -- this spot is a must.

Decided to check out the closest restaurant to our hotel and it didn't disappoint. Staff was friendly from the door. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was a busy Saturday night but we found seats at the bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Close enough to hear the live band but far enough away so we could have a conversation.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Drinks were tasty. Food hit the spot. There was a lot of cheese which I didn't mind but my sister could've done with a little less.

I came by for lunch recently. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very cute and clean restuarant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff was nice upon entry. Vanessa took care of me. I ordered the chicken fluatas. They were good came with Mexican rice and beans. Beans had a smokiness to them which were nice. I do wish the salsa was not so thin, but everyone's style is different. I did notice they have happy hour from 1-6 so if you are flying in to Hobby airport awaiting hotel or Airbnb check in I suggest stopping by. Prices and offerings were good. They had a $6 Mangonada with my name on it, but unfortunately I was working. Will definitely drop by if in the area.

Can't speak more highly of this place. We just flew in and were staying at the Springhill next door. We had a long day and wanted some beers and food. They told us the kitchen was closed but we were able to order beers. As we were drinking our beers they accommodated us and let us order food to go. Just amazing and above and beyond service! We ordered some tacos and there were delicious! I didn't get the names of the ladies serving us, but they were fantastic! Highly recommend!

Tequila 45 was not all at what I expected. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside is very fancy, but family friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff are very accommodating. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's lots of space inside, so it's ideal for big gatherings.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] For those who love to drink (not me), like their name suggests, Tequila 45 has a full bar and a vast selection of wine and margaritas. Their food was the best Mexican cuisine I've ever had. I can tell they use great quality ingredients in their dishes. Their tortillas are served steaming hot from the oven! Tequila 45 really stands out with some of their unusual menu items like Alfredo pasta, burgers, mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus, Creme Brulé, puddings, pork chops, Pineapple Sunshine (basically Pineapple upside down cake), and Cinnamon Butter Cake. I personally liked that you can choose what rice you want, instead of just having only Spanish rice. Tequila 45 does have a lunch special and they even serve breakfast! They're open every day and yes, they take reservations. Downsides: Our waitress took a long time getting our orders, and they weren't even busy! Everything on their menu is expensive. Even the prices on their appetizers and desserts are outrageous! The rice on my plate wasn't cooked evenly. I would only come here for special occasions. Note: Tequila 45 no longer makes Nutella CAKE, they now serve Nutella PUDDING instead.

I was nervous about this place being so close to Hobby Airport, but it is truly little gem of an oasis. Apparently this spot has existed almost a year, but I just recently heard of it As I drove up I was impressed by the exterior layout and decor. It is modern, vibrant, and you definitely see the Latin themes As I walked through the door I was astonished with how trendy the interior is. Each section and room is almost a little work of art with murals, Hispanic decor, chandeliers, etc. in the lobby there is a pair of neon wings you can pose with. The attention to detail is mesmerizing. The chairs and glassware even have the restaurants name etched or cut into them The staff was attentive and professional. The menu has all sorts of delectable texmex dishes, and the drink menu is extensive Some tips: Come for happy hour. It lasts for several hours and while the menu isn't huge, there are a lot of great and affordable drinks and eats Cheers!!

If you are looking for an authentic yummy dinner spot this is the place! The food was filling and SCRUMPTIOUS. The server was nice but the server didn't speak much English. It was really confusing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also the decor was super pretty and colorful![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely come here. churros were the most delicious divine scrumdiddlyumptious thing I've ever

Our server was checking in on us very frequently and she explained the menu to us when we told her we hadn't been before. The manager on duty also had stopped by and introduced herself. They told us up front that tapas would be able to be out quickly with only up to a 10 minute wait but that larger plates could be up to a 45 minute wait. We ordered several tapas and one large plate half order. I don't know much about wine, personally, but the drinks we did get were amazing. The restaurant itself was very pretty as well, lots of natural lighting and then low lighting as the sun went down. The music was low and we were able to hear each other well, apart from one group across the room that would get rowdy but I can't blame them for having a good time. Our food was all delicious and I forgot to take pics of some of them because we devoured them so quickly. Not pictured, we ordered the grilled asparagus and focaccia. I highly recommend all of what we ordered.

First, we got there pretty early for our reservation. We sat almost immediately upon check in. Our waiter was in training but did a really good job. Ordered a whiskey sour. Was seated at the bar so I got to watch it be made. The bartender- man that guy never stopped. He was organized and just did his thing. So many pretty drinks were made while I was there watching. The pink one, whatever it was, was really pretty! On to the food. We got two apps, two meals, and two desserts. Husband ordered the Brussels, Steak Frites, and the Devil's Affogato. I got the Bacon covered Dates, the Pizza, and the Sticky Toffee Cake. The Brussels were good - husband liked them more than me. They were good. Had cashews in them. Little spicy. The bacon covered dates. Think this was my favorite bite. Sweet, salty, creamy. Came we three & I had two. The pizza was sweet and salty as well. The crust was so good and fresh. The arugula set it off so well. Def a buy again! The Steak Frites was so good. The chimichurri sauce was perfect. Just the right mount of citrus. Steak was tender and the fries seasoned well. The desserts - don't skip them! The Devils Affogato we had the first time we ate at Sixty Vines. Had to have it again. If you like coffee, chocolate and vanilla ice cream just get it. Restaurant vibe is relaxed and clean. There were several large parties and what looked like a lot of date night guests. Just try it. No regrets!!

I was immediately intrigued, especially since they're located in Pearland. It took a few months after HRW before I was finally able to try them out. Take Out: I've done take out a few times. The first time, I ordered at the restaurant. It took about 20-30 minutes for the food to be prepared. Miranda was so nice and offered me water while I waited. She was very friendly and personable. The next two times, I ordered online. My order was ready when I arrived both times, however the second time I arrived, service was extremely slow. I was in a hurry and didn't feel well so I left a little annoyed. Food: Cucumber Shooters - Really tasty! I enjoyed the walnuts and cream cheese. Deviled Eggs - The flavor changes monthly. The first time I had it, the flavor was olive and I didn't care for it. Nutella Board - I ordered a catering size for a party and it was a hit with the party goers. Smoked Salmon - I loved it! It came with an everything bagel, cream cheese, and an assortment of veggies. I had enough food for three days. Dine In: We were the only patrons in the restaurant. It's not a large place, but it was a little awkward because our server could hear our entire conversation. There was a music playlist going, but the volume was low. Our server Cassundra was very nice. She made great suggestions on food and wine and assured us that the amount of food we ordered would be plenty. Wine: We ordered a bottle of Pratello Catulliano. This was our first time trying Lugana wine. You could taste the lime and apple, and it was on the drier side. Cassundra told us that they did a wine and Girl Scout cookie pairing and the Pratello Catulliano paired nicely with the Shortbread cookie. I enjoyed it so much that I ended up buying a bottle to go. We also had a glass of the house white wine which we enjoyed. Food: Butter Board - This was extremely tasty! It's whipped butter with hot honey, garlic cloves, rosemary, and sea salt. The contrast of sweet, salty, and savory was excellent and I loved the flavor of the rosemary! It came with focaccia bread. Deviled Eggs - The flavor this month is dill pickle. They were much better than the olive ones I had a few months prior and I would definitely order this flavor again! The Pearland - This charcuterie board is one of their most popular. There was a nice assortment of meat, cheese, crackers, and fruit. I actually liked the beet crackers with the salami and sharp cheddar. TBTBTCBM never seems to be busy when I visit. It is hidden in the same shopping strip as the discount movie theater. Part of me likes that it's sort of a secret, but I want this business to do well. It's nice to have a wine bar in town and not have to drive to Friendswood, Houston, or Missouri City.

By the time my friend made her way through the tastings, she had already spent $20+. They also charge a 20% auto-grat. Not a fan of that percentage for self-serve and counter service (you have to order food at the register). We ended up going to Mimo down the street to sit at the bar, taste complimentary samples, and then order a full glass. I'll still go back to Roots but have kinda lowered my expectations of the wine selection and value. Some of the novelty has worn off. In the past they would bring out a bread basket, as a free appetizer like how some mexican restaurants bring out chips and salsa, however, they dont seem to do that here anymore. Service at the table was mediocre, our waitress took our drink order and on the way over, the waitress was spilling the drinks over the floor on the way to our table. After our waitress took our order, my gf did not get the mayo on the side as she had asked, and after we received our food, our waitress never came around to check on us, didn't refill our drinks or anything. The place was very loud, louder than visiting waffle house. I was trying to have a conversation with my gf sitting just across the table from one another, and we were having to literally yell at one another just to hear what each other were saying. My gf did state that the sandwich she ordered was a big sandwich, and was more than she could finish. Once we were ready to go, our waitress still hadn't been around to check on us. So I had to flag down someone else, to get us some to go boxes, and our check. Low and behold, when I was ready to checkout, the waitress appears out of nowhere, after all this time, I'm guessing because she thought she was going to get a good tip. I'm sorry, waitstaff only get a great tip from me, once and if they perform a great job duty, and this was not the case in this matter.
