WHAT HAPPENED?!?!?!?!…read more WHAT DID THEY DO TO THEIR HAND-TOSSED PIZZA DOUGH?!? It used to be so yummy, fluffy and chewy. I actually would eat the pizza bones. I ordered today and got this flat mess. Horrible, bordering on shameful. Another one bites the dust. If you read my reviews you can see I have been a Dan's customer for well over a decade. They really messed up an amazing thing.

The staff was very attentive from the moment I walked in. One of the employees, Travis, who was working the to-go area, took the time to explain the menu and how to build my own pizza. His customer service was outstanding, and he even made some great recommendations. I ended up getting a build-your-own pizza along with the buffalo chicken pizza both were amazing. The quality of the pizza was excellent, and they definitely didn't skimp on the toppings like a lot of other places do. The pizza sauce was delicious, and the jalapeño ranch also recommended by Travis was incredible. Also, that green drizzle on top of the pizza is pesto, and I definitely recommend it! I didn't even have time to take a picture of the buffalo chicken pizza before I ate it lol. Highly recommend. A+ experience.

Today we went in to eat, my friend had the Cheesy Philly Special, I had the Meatball Parmesan Sandwich. My friend also ordered the French fries. Both sandwiches were huge and delicious. The fries were hot, cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside and soft inside. There is a wait for the food but it is worth it. That is because they don't prepare the food until it is ordered. I found the place to clean, small and quaint. This place does a lot of to go orders, but the dining room is comfortable. The staff were also very friendly. Pictures included of our meals.

While it doesn't remind me of anything close to New Hyde Park (#1), there is no doubt Hyde Park is…read moreone of the best dining spots in the Webster / Clear Lake area. They have mastered all aspects of a quality establishment: excellent execution and service by the staff, solid output of food, a clean and inviting ambiance for all groups, and at decent prices for a casual meal or even a date. The vibe is modern and contemporary, which makes this place both casual and date friendly. There is just enough seating options (indoor and outdoor) to feel spacious, yet also intimate at the same time. The bar offers a nice view of the open kitchen, and a small TV. Love the framed art pieces and the uber clean restrooms. While their woodfired oven cooked pizzas don't resemble anything from NY, they still manage to stand out on their own. The margherita looks the part, which is thankfully nothing like the nearby competition. The elote crema is a fun spin, the busy bee is a hearty option, and the banhmizza shouldn't work yet they've managed to pull it off. The consistency has been an issue in the past, with some that feel overly doughy, feature a less than cooked undercarriage, or an overly charred bubbly edge. Thankfully it hasn't deterred my visits in the slightest. Where there are pizzas, there are pastas and they are just as popular. The brie alfredo is a colorful and indulgent option, as is the 5 cheese mac with crunchy quinoa on top. Their totally baked bolognese is very tasty, but the short rib ragu has been the go-to dish overall. I would be remiss if I didn't mention their cocktails, which are simple but quite nice. The root beer old fashioned is potent and sweet, while the girlfriend is a nice blend of gin and elderflower liqueur with floral additions such as rosewater, hibiscus, finished with lemon and egg white. The lychee sour is also an easy one to love, while sweet tooths might love the bedrock cocktail and it's fruity pebbles infused vodka. Lastly, the staff is very on it from all aspects of service. I admire how professional they've been with every meal and give major kudos to the Asian ownership for a job well done. This is an excellent spot. ___________ (#1) Queens.

It's truly such a good spot for pizza and pasta and reminds of me of Jupiter & Pizza Waffles in Sugar Land in terms of atmosphere and vibe. They have plenty of unique options for pizza which I really look forward to trying them all. They also have some other unique menu items too. If I lived closer here, I'd definitely be visiting more often. We had the pickle pizza with pepperoni added on it as well as the totally baked Bolognese. Everything comes out hot and fresh, and the pizza is always as good as I remember it. I had the Bolognese for the first time this visit and it was delicious. A little on the heavy side but it's meaty and creamy with the cheese. Their house-made ranch is something else, I'm more of a bleu cheese guy but my girlfriend likes ranch better so we got that but I gotta say that ranch is reallyyyy good so I'd recommend trying that with your pizza too. Service is fast, you can choose to sit anywhere when you walk in. They get to you fairly quickly. I forget everything else I had in the past, but the service and food never disappoint!

We've always loved the hand tossed pizzas but the vibe in the place seemed unprofessional and depressing. We've literally been driving to Houston for our pizza fix (yes, we're PIZZA SNOBS iykyk). Friday night pizza night is our thing, but with the construction on I45 the thought of sitting in traffic did not sound worth it. I jokingly said, "I wish we could just go to Russo's, like it was, before it went downhill." My husband said,"if you want to try it again I'm down." Reluctantly we went...and when I tell you we were greeted immediately by Carter, who was AMAZING by the way...I don't think we've ever experienced that kind of service at Russo's. My son never once had to refill his own glass! And to then turn around and see Lexie and then Sunshine, we were all floored! It was like stepping back in time but the restaurant was cleaner, no dripping AC in places, the staff were all on point not missing a beat, Sinatra playing over the loud speakers it was a vibe and we we're feeling it! I am so glad we gave Russo's another chance. If you've been boycotting this place like we have for so long I urge you to give it another try. Management is finally doing something right and we couldn't be more thrilled! Thank you Sunshine, Carter, and Lexie...you all make such a huge difference we couldn't have asked for a better experience. See you again soon!!! KO

Never got the bread and we asked multiple times. I asked for Alfredo sauce to dip the cheese sticks in, didn't come and had to ask finally a different guy brought the Alfredo Pizza came out and was tiny definitely not large I asked ab this and he said it was a glitch I thought ok prob cheaper fine. There were barely any mushrooms on the half but whatever. Still never got bread. Got the check and since the menu said the medium was $15 and the large was $17, I was expecting $15 it was over $18 for the medium! Plus an up charge for the one thin sliced mushroom on half the medium pizza for $3.00 so over $21 for a medium half cheese half pepperoni and mushroom. WHAT! He offered to give a dessert for the mix up of medium vs large and the tiramisu had this thick powder all over the top. It was awful. $45 for a medium half cheese half pepperoni and mushroom pizza, mozzarella sticks, and a tiny Alfredo, and a Diet Coke! Never again!

My family and I came here for a late lunch consisting of two big supreme pizzas and mango habanero wings. The wings came first. On first bite, my tongue was greeted by a short, spicy burst that eventually gave way to a more tangy taste. They were pretty sizable as well. Unlike certain pizza places that are frugal with their chicken, Luigis does right those of us whose love them some poultry. The pizza is a certified winner in that it's baked fresh. Close to crispy crust, cheese and sauce meshing well, and lots of toppings. I don't know the method as to how the pies were baked, but I was glad there wasn't that smoky aftertaste. Because of its fairly large size, I was full after a couple of slices. I inquired about their delivery service. They don't have anyone in-house who performs deliveries, but they partner with DoorDash. I have to check my app because I'd sure love to enjoy some Luigis at home.
