Never in my life have I ever had one person have their food delivered while everyone else is waiting and then on top of it the bartender was also the waiter. It was happy hour. We had a wait forever and I really feel like this restaurant needs more help. We both sent our food back. I'm so glad he took it off the check but no way that the waiter should be the bartender and I wouldn't doubt he was cooking food in the back also, I will never go back to Ruby Tuesdays in Springfield, Missouri. read more

We love Ruby Tuesday! Would have given five stars if it didn't take so long to get waited on. Not the servers fault because she was swamped. Not a huge number of tables, but a couple very large parties. I always get a meal and add on the amazing salad bar. If it weren't for the salad bar we might have gone somewhere else. Like all places the prices have gone up. I ordered the bbq chicken breast with mashed potatoes and zucchini. It supposedly came with two chicken breasts. They were probably 3 oz each. But since I ordered the all you can eat salad bar with it there was plenty. If you have a large appetite you'll need more. The flavor was good though and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The zucchini was yummy. The mashed potatoes were tasty but need to be warmer. Barely warm enough to melt the butter. Hubby had a burger and it was cooked perfectly medium just like he asked. The food came out really fast. Service was great once the big parties left. Our server kept our drinks full and checked on us a few times, which was good. The salad bar was stocked and nothing was empty. A manager was keeping it tidy! It was extremely convenient near our hotel. Bathrooms were clean. We would definitely eat here again. read more

My mom recently downloaded the Ruby Tuesday's mobile app and is now being lavished with coupons with dessert and BOGO specials. We have dined 2 Sunday nights and both times the host and waitstaff were providing friendly, top notch hospitality. My mom has tried their ribs, hot honey chicken wings and Mac and cheese bites and enjoyed her dinners. I ordered fish and chips substituting grilled zucchini for the fries and I enjoyed it but the fish was pretty small. Typically with restaurant portions I end up taking a to go box but the portion size was easily finished off. On our second visit I did the small order of catfish and subbed rice pilaf for the fries and when I requested Louisiana hot sauce or Cholula hot sauce the only offering was Tabasco sauce. I ended up just using the tartar sauce that the fish is served with. I was excited to see strawberry tea on the menu. The tea was super sweet; I tasted more sugar than strawberry. Be prepared if you select it. We're already planning our next visit going for their big dessert menu. read more

The service and food were horrible. Very disappointed. My husband got the quesadillas and they were burnt and tasted gross. I got the salad bar and got sick after. Our waitress never came to our table to refill our drinks, pick up our dirty plates, or even check on us. She also looked as if she just rolled out of bed. Extremely disappointed in the salad bar. I generally rave about Ruby Tuesdays salad bar but it was half empty. My favorite thing about it is the croutons. They were out we asked the waiter for more and he said he'd bring some right out. We had our dinner ate and paid the the croutons never showed up and the salad bar wasn't restocked once the entire time. It wasn't worth the price we paid to add it to our meals. read more

How absolutely filthy does that carpet have to get before it gets cleaned. I've been in there twice in the last two weeks. The first time I thought maybe they'd had some kind of flood from the restrooms or something. 'Went back a week later, and it was the same. When your shoes stick to the carpet, you get a nauseating feeling that the rest of the restaurant is at least as filthy as the dining area. I am a member or their rewards program and have the app. However, since neither the app nor their website is working, I cannot enter my receipt for credit. Both are broken. I have reinstalled the app, rebooted my phone, still it gives a message that I have "no internet connection' while all the other apps on my phone, including my browsers connect just fine. As a result, all the special deals they send by email are useless because you need the app to get the special code. So frustrating! The waiters and waitresses have always been attentive on my visits, but I like to use their specials from time to time, which I no longer can do. I was going to buy the month of endless salad bar for $39.99, but need the app for that, so I am not purchasing that. I probably will not go back until they get their app and website fixed. What is it with the management of this place that they can't figure out they need to hire more waitstaff to work Sundays when it gets real busy with the church people who over fill this place after church? It was my first time visiting a Ruby Tuesday's as I was drawn in by the daily special of a smash burger, fries, and salad bar deal. We will not be back, it was not very busy but everything seemed to be going wrong for the staff, Hal, my server forgot my water for about 15 minutes as we enjoyed our salad bar, he did bring my husbands water though. We were done with our salads and waited another 30 minutes for our burgers to come out, they took about an hour, when Hal finally brought them out he explained that he forgot to ring them in. As we opened our burgers we realized our patties were no bigger than a half dollar, we waited an hour for this! A manager came to our table and explained that a smash burger single patty means we only get a half patty, the photo of the burger looked like a whole patty, our mistake I guess. The manager also explained a cook called out and everything was falling apart. We gave it a try, it's not worth the $ or the time. read more

I visited on 7/17/24 and was very excited to eat here because as a kid, my mom used to take me to the location that was inside of the Battlefield Mall all the time and we loved it! Salad bar was always amazing and fresh. Food was always great. Unfortunately they closed that location years ago. So I decided to try the one on north glenstone just to bring back memories as a kid and see if it was still the same. Well, it wasn't. Salad bar was barely stocked, waited 20 minutes for my beer and when my food came out it was warm. Not hot or cold. But not hot enough. The burger was pouring grease out and the fries were very soggy. I had high hopes because I really wanted to take my girlfriend here for a date night, but I came home and told her I wouldn't even bother since this past time I went was horrible. I loved Ruby Tuesdays. But this time, I wasn't happy at all. Very disappointed. Might still take her here for a date night if I was reimbursed or offered for something to be fixed. We don't have a Ruby Tuesday near where I live in northern Oklahoma. So when we saw one in Springfield, we were very happy. The salad bar was so delicious, better than I remembered it. The service was very good too and we ordered wine and they actually gave us a nice size glass. Would definitely eat here again. read more

5-Stars because the staff are great and you get what you expect. This Ruby Tuesday is located right next to the Drury Inn so we walked over for a late dinner when we got into town. Our server was very nice and attentive even though she may have been the only server working. The salad bar was well-stocked and fresh. The food we ordered was all good and what you would expect from this type of restaurant. My only gripe here was the other tables which had a toddler that wouldn't stop running around and screaming. But, that's not the fault of the server or staff, just the patrons. read more

I knew it, I should've just stuck to the salad bar but I decided to try something different, total bust. I ordered the fried chicken salad and it looked nothing like the picture on the menu. There were four very cooked, almost burned chicken pieces and the lettuce was limp and overly dressed. My co worker ordered salmon and it looked decent, she gave it a thumbs up. The food took about 35 minutes from when the server walked to the computer until when we received it. Whether it took so long because as she said " food takes way too long to get out" (wth?) Or because she forgot to place the order, it wasn't worth the wait. People around us were getting there food, but I guess we weren't lucky on 4.19.19 about 6pm. That salad bar though! That's what makes RT's one of my favorite franchise restaurants. Everything on the salad bar is consistent and fresh from location to location. This location was directly across from my hotel, so I visited a few times during my stay in Springfield. Like most other places, the lunch menu items are cheaper than the dinner menu items, even though it's the same exact items and sizes. I ordered the chicken sliders, which were tasty, but were just two ordinary slider buns with small morsels of cut up chicken tenders. Nothing remarkable really. The mozerella sticks were fantastic though! They were piping hot, on an iron skillet/platter. This location has a lot of work to do. Why is that? Because when I came for dinner one night, they estimated that the wait would be fifteen minutes. I think the wait was a bit longer and the fact that there were a bunch of tables empty, it was super annoying. I assume that they were understaffed, either short waitresses or kitchen staff, or maybe both. Each time that we visited, we had great service, so I won't complain too much about it. You can sign up for their email campaign, but don't expect the free appetizer to arrive in your inbox right away, that takes a few days. But that's a pretty sweet perk... a free appetizer with the purchase of an entree. read more

Salad bar is a joke. Nasty ranch dressing that does not even taste like it should. Ran out of lots of things and don't replace them fast enough. Food was awful and catfish seemed to be out of a bag and so breaded you could not taste the fish. Low quality food! Over priced for what you get. read more

We used to visit here fairly often, but things had been hit and miss since the covid . Today everything was spot on. The salad bar was especially great with fresh made ingredients and dressings, with all of our favorites. The best part was that everyone we interacted with (hostess, wait staff, salad attendant and manager) seemed glad to be there. So, I hate to be the Karen. I really tried to be patient and have grace. We visited the restaurant on 6/25/24. We were very excited to eat at Ruby Tuesday because we no longer have one near us. While the restaurant appeared to be very clean, we waited over 15 minutes for anyone to ask us what we would like to drink. We were seated by the bar. There was one person at the bar, and one table with customers in our section. We Waited approximately another 15 minutes after receiving our drinks for our server to come back and get our order. At this point all 3 of our drinks were visibly empty. I believe my daughter even made a comment about being thirsty while the waiter was at our table. 30 minutes later, our food arrives. Still no refills. I ordered the bourbon chicken, with broccoli and mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were ice cold. I had to flag the waiter down, and he said " Potatoes are cold right? " Like he actually knew he was serving cold food. Then asked me if my broccoli was cold to. He did offer to go back and bring me out fresh mashed potatoes which were steaming when they arrived assuming they were microwaved. I finally had to flag down the host to get refills on our drinks. Which she was very bubbly and sweet and grabbed them and brought them right out. Ten minutes later our server came back to ask us if we wanted refills. Then said "oh, someone else got them". At this point we had already finished eating. So you would think he would ask if we wanted a dessert or were ready For the check, right? Nope. Nada. it's like he completely forgot about us, and his other tables. I had to approach the manager, and another employee to ask for our check. They appeared to be in a deep "important" conversation. The manager quickly told the employee to go get our server. Then he comes and asks us if we want our check. Which was great until he couldn't find a card reader that worked. Needless to say, we would have been better off going to the Chic-Fil-a down the road. I can say that we won't be returning to a Ruby Tuesday. I get that restaurants struggle to keep help. I managed a bar and grill for several years. But this was beyond ridiculous. Especially when we also had an infant with us. It only has one star because the salad bar was on point according to my husband. read more

I have rarely given a one star. Let me start by saying we have been a fan of this restaurant chain. We have eaten at this chain often and my spouse is a fan of the salad bar. We ordered the two for $25. Our mozzarella sticks came and they were tasty and hot. I ordered the bourbon chicken and my husband ordered the marinara pasta with chicken. It appeared we were waiting a while when our waitress came and said the cook made the wrong entree my husband ordered and it would be a few more minutes. When the food finally arrived my plate was hot but the the mashed potatoes and broccoli were room temperature. My husband's pasta was cold and he used the rest of the marinara from the mozzarella sticks as there was hardly any on his pasta. Also the salad bar was not maintained. The lettuce, what was left, was pretty limp. The mushrooms were brown, no bacon bits and the ranch dressing was empty. What a disappointment. Unfortunately we will mot return. I will say our waitress/bartender was very nice although it appeared she was stretched too thin. We also had to wear our coats, as well as others as the restaurant was chilly. read more

I've came to this Ruby Tuesdays before and had great experiences but today was all over the place. First off, our waitress forgot to get us our drinks until our food was ready. The ranch sauce to sip fries in was so runny or has no taste. The greeter girl was talking openly on the floor about how her check didn't show up with adt and such and how frustrated she was because of this. The straw I was given was bent multiple times. Our hamburgers were good! As I wrote this another customer told one of the staff how helpful they were so it could be that they have some great employees and some not so great. read more
