I really like their bread and their potato chips though!! Plus, their Diet Dr Pepper was heavy on the syrup, so it wasn't tasting right??? I try to avoid posting negative reviews, and being that we have had several good experiences at this location, I'm disappointed to have to make this review. My husband and I have eaten at this location a few times in the last year or so and have always been satisfied with the quality. This time was much different. I ordered a beef and cheese with modifications (no onion, no Mayo, no sauce), and he ordered a French dip. We received two beef and cheese sandwiches - one regular and one with my modifications. My husband spoke up about ordering the French dip. The staff took the sandwich back and came out saying "you did order two beef and cheeses, but there's no price difference so we will remake it." We've worked in food and retail service so we know the customer isn't always right, but in this case there was a mistake made at the ordering counter and we were being blamed for the mix up. His sandwich returned and he had several fatty pieces. Mine was no different. A good portion of the sandwich was pure fat. I also had pieces of red pepper stuck to the bottom of my sandwich, and red pepper doesn't even belong on the beef and cheese. It also seems to be more expensive than it was a few months ago. We understand this isn't necessarily something that the staff can control, but the lack of quality coupled with the price increase was a let-down. read more

I have never had to wait longer than 10 minutes from the time that I walk in the door until the time that my food is ready and they have always been polite and accommodate customers very well. Tonight was a letdown. The food was super salty for some reason, and the staff was playing grab-ass. Some little redhead was being loud and stupid, apparently trying to flirt with a co-worker. Their spongy Muffuletta-like sandwiches never disappoint. Their portions are gigantic and they always leave you stuffed. This is a great deviation from your standard sandwich place. Their specialty is great comfort food that keeps you coming back. My go-to sandwich is always the Original. They recently added a Cinnabon in this store as well. I just had a Fiesta Chicken sandwich on Jalepeño Cheese Bread. The sandwich ingredients were fresh and tasty. But what was most impressive was the bread. The bread usually has a very hard shell at nearly every other Schlotzsky's I've been to, including 2 in Memphis, 2 in Kansas City, MO, 1 in St Louis and 1 in Fort Walton. The outside of the bread here was crispy, but somehow flaky. It broke easily enough when biting into it so as to not squeeze all of the ingredients out of the sandwich! And yet, the edge of the sandwich was strong enough to not collapse while holding it. Whoever baked the bread today needs to do a tour around the country and show the other locations how it's done. I love eating here when I'm in town. I usually always get the pick two combo. I get the chicken bacon ranch pizza and half a medium sandwich as my other choice. I usually mix up my sandwich choices. This is a great amount of food and I never leave not filling completely satisfied! Another great perk is if you park in the back you can get a special offer since parking is somewhat limited in the front. We were visiting relatives and stopped here for a quick bite on our way to Branson. I wasn't thrilled at first, going into a place, which I can't even pronounce. Once we ordered and got the food, boy was I surprised. We were a party of 6, but the service was reasonably fast. I really enjoyed my veggie s'wich with the jalapeño chips. Mmm...mmm...Yumm! Stole some pizza from hubby, who did almost growl ...ha..ha.. Wish they had it here on the west coast. My wife and I are kind of choosey as to where we want to spend our money, and as Christians we want to support those companies that align with our beliefs. This location is one of our favorites because we like listening to the Christian music as we sit and eat, so relaxing knowing that we don't have to put up with the establishments that choose to play secular music and there are plenty of them. Today we went in and were a little shocked (shocked as in surprised, not as in OH MY GOSH!!!) I know that music doesn't necessarily make the place, but we want to support Christian values. I love this place. I always get a medium turkey original without tomato. This is hands down the best sandwich I've ever had and it's something I crave when I'm away from home. All that melty cheese, the light and airy bread, the mixture of meat and toppings, on a warm sandwich. It's fanfreakingtastic. If we are being completely honest here, I think the sandwiches from the store on North Glenstone taste better. I don't know why. I'm sure they are made exactly the same way, but it seems like the store on Campbell sometimes overcooks their bread and can be cheap on the toppings. They also had a complete meltdown while we were there. 3 people at the pick up window trying to put toppings on sandwiches, didn't seem to have a clue what was going on. Even took our order back from us because they gave us half of someone else's order (my brothers.) Thank god we were still there waiting on him to get his food.
