This place was the best stop we had between our Boston to Cleveland drive. Returning from Boston with the family we found this place by chance. And thank God because it was amazing. First, the ambiance, tasteful decor, clean sitting area and pristine bathrooms tell you this place is going to deliver. Then the service, gentle, with attention to detail and very welcoming. The food was excellent, unique flavors, very creative and colorful presentation. Taste was delicious with several ingredients home made. The freshness of the food was there, present in every bite. The cucumber mint mojito, what a party in your mouth! And the coffee, exquisite. If you are nearby, do not hesitate to stop. Every dish was delicious. We had a party of 9 so we tried lots of plates. All of them delicious.

Really good coffee

This was my first time here. I was really impressed with this place overall. We were seated right away. The service was amazing. The staff was super friendly. A place has a nice vibe. Super cute. The bathrooms were incredibly clean. Food was delicious. The coffee was amazing. I drink black coffee so when I get a good cup, I want to make sure everyone knows how great Coffee is. I ordered The breakfast at Tiffany's sandwich. It was humongous and so delicious. Your homemade fries were cooked to perfection. my friend ordered the Huevos rancheros. She really enjoyed it. My other friend ordered bacon and eggs with a side of Berry Compote. We are very much enjoyed it there and plan to be back. I'm from CT so it was definitely worth the drive.

Our party of 4 came here for breakfast and everything we ordered was delicious. My omelet was so tasty and the coffee was really good. We shared the espresso French toast which everyone devoured. Service was very friendly and attentive. Great place for breakfast and they have both indoor and outdoor dining on the porch.

Convenient location with lots of parking. Handicap ramp accessable. Came here for a late breakfast/early lunch. They had a good selection to choose from. The place was well lit yet warm and welcoming. The staff was very friendly and quick. Great for parties of 6 or less We got the steak an eggs and the chicken and waffles Both meals were delicious and full of flavor. The steak was moist and juicy and the sauces that came with it made it even better The chicken and waffles came with powered sugar and a side of syrup. The chicken was crisp and juicy and well seasoned. The waffle was good but could have been crispier. Over a great experience and will be returning

Pancakes

Went to Rose's restaurant for the first time today with my family of 4 and breakfast cost $100 with the tip. The menu is extremely limited. I had the 3 pancake breakfast and the bottom pancake was completely burnt on the top and hidden under the other 2. All 3 were about raw in the middle! My dad's over medium eggs were also completely brown and rubbery. The service was lacking and we were never andked if everything was ok. Also, due to the doors being left open we were constantly shooing away bugs! The overall experience was very disappointing!

Breakfast at Tiffany's Griddle Sandwich

On vacation and found the perfect place for brunch! The place is cozy but open with some outdoor seating. I love how pretty their glasses are and sturdy silverware. For drinks - peach tea (not too sweet), and a huge iced mocha. Both good. For brunch we did The Berkshire Biscuit and Breakfast at Tiffany's Griddle Sandwich. Both excellent dishes and so good, granted we were hungry. Service was quick. Enjoyed our brunch and may be back for lunch.

Outside of the restaurant

We stopped for breakfast at Roses on our way through town and what an absolute delight! Everything is homemade and so delicious. I had the breakfast burrito with their homemade sausage. My husband had the skirt steak and eggs. And loved eating outside in the charming porch. A must do!

Came here for breakfast on a Saturday and had a great experience. Service was excellent! I was greeted and seated as soon as I walked in, had my order taken soon after, and my coffee and meal both came out quick. Food was fantastic! I especially loved the restaurant ant made cheddar biscuit and sausage. I had the Berkshire Biscuit which was filling and delicious! I also loved that the restaurant was in a house, with table seating and bar seating. Highly recommend!

Mocha latte

The food was amazing and the presentation was beautiful. The employees were friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back.

Vegetarian chicken and waffles

Great place for brunch. The vegetarian chicken and waffles (with fried mushrooms instead of chicken) was so delicious.

Breakfast is served during all open hours. Lunch items include salads and sandwiches among other things. Indoor counter or table seating. Outdoor seating available on the sidewalk in front. I went with blueberry pancakes and asked for real maple syrup which they have available. Very nice pancakes and plenty of syrup was provided. My SO went with a steak and cheese with all the fillings and a side of tots. The tots are super crispy and taste faintly of clam (fried clams are on the menu), just fyi. They offer coffees, teas, soft drinks and mimosas (I think I remember that on the menu). I had a fresh brewed, unsweetened ice tea w/lemon. Hit the spot on a hot day. We enjoyed ourselves very much at Joe's. It's a nice neighborhood spot for a casual breakfast or lunch.

The building is really beautiful and at any other time we would have made use of the beautiful common spaces indoors and not just enjoyed our room and the grounds. The room was impeccably cleaned and staff were attentive to needs that came up during the visit. The absolute stand out was our room service meal set in front of the wood-burning fireplace in our room. They came up with a table, offered us options for chairs, had all of the food wrapped in plastic and covered in warming lids, but done in a way that did not interfere with even the delicate plating details. The portions were substantial and food quality was outstanding. They even provided gluten-free options that went above and beyond to accommodate an allergy. I wish I could give 4.5 because there were some minor areas for improvement, but I will round up given COVID was likely a contributing factor.

The staff is obnoxious rude & pretentious. We arrived with are 2 Small Shitizs just as we had before. The hotel was aware we were bringing 2 service dogs.. First night they would not allow us in the dining room with dogs but they had no room for us to dine outside! They wanted us to sit alone in a room by ourselves & have dinner ! I objected. We finally agreed we would have dinner in the bar alone . At least it was part of the dining area. To get to the pool area you need to drive your car. They didn't like where my husband parked our car. No biggie. I think the Pool Boy could have handled it. All he had to do is ask us to move it. Next thing we know the manger of the Hotel comes to the pool standing over us suit & all. After announcing his titled he ordered my husband to move the car. It was definitely a reprimand for his bad behavior. Of course he moved the car. When we returned to our room there was a hand written note offering to serve us dinner in our room that evening. I called the desk to ask about this & was told this was a new thing they were offering ! We ate dinner in town that evening.. I could go on & on with our crimes & misdemeanors. I spoke to this TIGHT A.S JERK when we were checking out . I asked if the General Manger was available. He has a total passive aggressive personality. I expressed my disappointment about the weekend. He went through the list list & more of the above. Wait a minute , aren't I the quest. Isn't this his job ? Doesn't it come with the territory! If he was so disapproving of us he could have asked us to checkout. He didn't do that though. He wanted our $3900. He may not have like us but he liked our money.

I only purchased a day pass, which probably costs twice what the experience was actually worth. The best part of the day were the yoga classes. The instructor was very knowledgeable, offered hands-on adjustments, and made the classes challenging. The facial was fine, but not that good; she had me sitting by myself with a sheet mask on for 10 minutes, and didn't even bother to give me a hand or foot massage during that time like most spas would offer. Probably the most disappointing part of the day was the food. For what I paid for the day, everything on the menu should have been EXCELLENT. It was not. Honestly, I wasn't drawn to any of the entrees, so I just ordered a bunch of the appetizers as my meal. They weren't that good, to be honest. The crab cake did not have Maryland crab in it (I'm from Maryland, and that's the only way to make a proper crab cake!), and the tabouleh was just quinoa. You could easily take the money you would spend on a day pass and treat yourself to a facial/massage, yoga class, and nice meal for less money and have a better experience.
