i really enjoyed this place! we stopped here for breakfast while visiting the berkshires and it was lovely. the presentation of our plates was great and the chicken and waffles was delicious (some of the best i've had!) the waffle had a unique and decadent vanilla flavor and the breading on the chicken was absolutely flawless! the only drawback here was their lack of coffee options imo but i really liked it! 4.5/5, i would love to come back :) read more

Roses Restaurant - chicken and waffles - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Lee, Massachusetts

Brunch at Roses was a rare treat. Sunday brunch time was bustling; service was prompt, friendly and consistent. We all were extremely satisfied with omelets, which included choices of many items such as vegetarian sausage, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, home fries, cheese, and more. The bread was excellent and so was the coffee. I was the only one at our table that finished my plate as portions were huge. After 2 years of living nearby, this has been my favorite brunch. It is my new go to spot. read more

Visiting Stockbridge and looking for a great breakfast spot! Googling brought us to Rose's and it was awesome!! We love a great BEC and on a croissant brings it up a notch ! Sandwich was superb with a delicious side salad! Order your egg over med or hard or the sandwich gets a little messy. Croissant was fresh , warm and crisp! It was a clean, bright dining area... service was great! Highly recommend read more

Had the bacon egg & cheese bagel. Massive in size and the thick cut crispy bacon was hands down the best I've ever eaten! The side of potatoes that accompanied along were perfectly seasoned and piping hot! Although we didn't order any pastries, they were mouthwatering. Definitely a must stop on your trip! read more

Roses Restaurant - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Lee, Massachusetts

Roses has a big breakfast menu, packed with many specialty options. The Berkshire breakfast was on a delicious cheddar scone, with sausage and eggs. And the Tiffany's breakfast sandwich was on crispy and buttery bread, packed with crisp bacon and flavorful cheese. The potatoes were very well cooked, far from soggy! Although the service was slow, this was some of the best breakfast I've had in a while, and definitely the best I've had in the Berkshires. The outdoor seating isn't exactly a great scene, but they have a decent amount of indoor seating as well. read more

atrocious bread! I've had biscotti that was less hard. ancient potatoes. tasteless omelette.

Arrived at 11:10am on a Sunday morning. We were seated at 11:45 and still haven't seen any food until 25 minutes later. My coffee NEVER came and we didn't see our waiter again. Food was delicious. I might have enjoyed it if I weren't so furious at the absolutely ridiculous service. read more

First off we had to wait over a half hour just to give our name. We should have left then but the food looked good. Not sure what the system is for giving your name but it's screwed up. Would walk right by and not even acknowledge you. I ordered half rack of ribs. So tough I couldn't eat them or even slice them off the bone. I would have ordered breakfast but by the time we waited so Long it was almost lunch. My husband got shells in his eggs as did the couple next to us. Definitely understaffed. The bus staff were very efficient. Over priced for the quality of the food. Would not recommend. read more

Lobster avocado toast was good, but the bread was hard as a rock and when I told the waitress she just said it gets hard when it's toasted and did not offer an apology or another slice of bread :/ read more

Delicious breakfast! The coffee was strong, as desired, and the side of greens was fresh and crispy lemony. The schnitzel was a mouth-full of a sandwich with great flavors. If we make our way back to Lee, we will definitely revisit Rose's! read more

Our choice for breakfast in Lee. Not that there are a ton of choices. :-) We went for breakfast, and came away quite satisfied. The decaf coffee was some of the best we've had anywhere. And apparently it really *was* decaf, since we were able to sleep that night. I had the belgian waffle, and my wife had a granola bowl with berries. The servings were generous, and the berries very fresh and plentiful. My only complaint is that the menu didn't seem to have as many simple and light options as I would have preferred. We were happy with our meals, and regretted not eating here again the following day, as we had a rather unimpressive experience at another breakfast place in Lee. Rose's has some outdoor seating. The interior was a bit crowded, but we were in a corner and didn't encounter any serious noise problems. No complaints about the service. read more

We absolutely love it here Roses! The owner and his wife are delightful as well as the staff! Carlos is just wonderful! The food is phenomenal...homemade bread and scones are to die for! The coffee is a bit too strong for us, but we know that New Englanders love strong coffee! We will definitely come back here the next time we are in Massachusetts. Thank you, Fabian. The food is amazing. The service was adequate but not good. Never asked us if we needed more water even when glasses were empty. Charged an automatic gratuity of 20% on our table of 6 even though we weren't told and it was not posted anywhere including menu. Waiter didn't tell us and did handed us a tablet asking us to choose our tip on top of the 20% they already added. VERY DISHONEST way to conduct business. Only when I questioned it did he say they added a tip already. read more

Adorable spot! plenty of seating. Mellow soft music. Terrific service. Food was so tasty & well presented! Overall terrific vibe!

We're regular customers but were disappointed with our last visit. Mocha was cold, the fresh orange juice tasted like concentrate, no real maple syrup available for the pancakes, breakfast burrito served with tortilla chips but only a small amount of a strange salsa, and the server acted like she wanted to be anyplace other than where she was. Very disappointing for an upscale establishment. read more

Never been here before and I was really impressed... The food was tasty... The service was A1 and wonderful ambience.

My wife and I have been going to go Roses for the past 8 years when we are in the area. To our surprise it had changed ownership. It was very disappointing to say the least. The name is Rose's, but there is nothing in there that supports the name other than 1 vase of Roses. The atmosphere has lost that country feeling and the new music was way to loud which I believe caused my server to get my order incorrect even though I repeated it 3 times. Lastly, breakfast should be the most inexpensive meal of the day, not at the New Roses. For 2 people it was $48. Sorry to say this was our last visit to Roses. Good luck to the new owners. On a good note, we found Joe's dinner, where to our delight the 2 waitresses from the old Rose's were working. Had a great breakfast at half the price of Rose's. So. If you want a friendly country atmosphere, Joe's is a must. read more

We came by this place while heading back from a road trip given it was near the start of the Mass Pike. It's located in a small quaint building. Even though it was starting to get real busy we were lucky enough to get a seat in their front porch outside seating area. It was really nice to have breakfast outside on a summer morning. Our food was really good, everything made just right. The coffee I ordered was excellent, better than many coffee shops. The service was on the slow side. It took awhile for the waitress to come by and take our order. It seems like they were short-staffed. If you're ever driving back from New York into Massachusetts and looking for a breakfast place, this is a good choice. read more

After a delightful weekend in the Berkshires, we decided to have a nice breakfast, before I hit the road, home to Boston. I picked Rose's restaurant in Lee, as my friend loves seafood Benedicts, and I love hash and eggs, as an indulgence. I found this place on Yelp, only a few minutes in the car from Stockbridge. We found it much more upscale than my friend had recollected; the menu had also been seriously elevated. I asked about the cheddar/chive biscuit that I had read raves about, and our server said they had a whole dish built around it, which you see pictured. The biscuit was really a treat, salty and deliciously grilled. The presentation... well, look at the picture. You'll also see a bit of the biscuit on my friend's plate. He was thrilled with the expertly cooked lobster, and flawless poached eggs. My friend had recollected a tacky room filled with plastic roses, and that certainly wasn't the case. A recent addition (we were told), they now have mimosas and Bloody Mary's, making this an absolutely perfect brunch spot. I see, scrolling down, some negative reviews. It seems the people who didn't enjoy Rose's wanted a much more basic, inexpensive restaurant. This isn't that. Zinging a restaurant because new owners with a new format don't have one particular item from the old place seems petty. If you choose Rose's as a bit of a decadent treat, I'm sure you will be as delighted as we were. read more

The space was a little cottage with dining on the front porch. Arrived around 1pm or so and waited 10, maybe 15 min for a seat. They close at 2p We took two seats at bar. They have locally brewed coffees and and some alcoholic drinks. I was tempted to get a mojito but ended up choosing a Boylston diet cola from the bottle. Not my favorite but cute. I ordered chicken schnitzel served on sourdough with some pesto, spring mix, tomato and I'm sure I'm missing something else- but delicious! And served with delicious salty fries. My date had a burger and fries- all with great presentation! Service was friendly and excellent. Would definitely go again. We considered going back in morning- the breakfast menu looked to die for. Will definitely visit next time in area! read more

Great breakfast, and just a few steps from both the Quality Inn and Sunset Inn. I especially liked it that you can get lattes, capuccinos, etc. instead of just plain coffee. Service was excellent. Only drawback is not very handicap-friendly. But we will def. go back. read more

Disappointing but has potential. Rose's clearly take pride in the quality and variety of their offerings, and the place was bustling on this rainy autumn Monday. However, those with a persnickety palate or dietary restrictions (me on both counts) may not be pleased. There are no dairy free options for baked goods, although they have gluten free bread. The only salad dressing contains raw eggs with no alternative offered, but the salad greens were fresh and lovely. The coffee was strong (good) but harsh (bad). The omelette was tasty but overcooked. And finally, the fried potatoes (beautifully cooked and crusty brown) were over salted and the fryer oil tastes rancid and desperately needs to be changed. The wait staff were great and prompt in spite of how busy it was. I believe with a few changes to kitchen practices and greater effort in accommodating dietary restrictions, Rose's could be a five-star restaurant. read more
