An overall great experience. We had a Wedding for two here and it was just amazing. The staff really took care of us and made us feel special. The accommodations were amazing! We stayed in the Ice House cottage and really enjoyed the endless amenities including fireplace, heated three season porch, kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The food and service are 5 star quality. Here's hoping that the new management will continue to make the Blantyre a special experience and keep investing in touches of modern technology and hopefully add a bar in the main building.

A new Mother's Day tradition has been started for me and my fiancé! We attended the Mother's Day brunch. Upon pulling up to door our car was valet parked to keep us out of rain. As we walked in door, we are offered champagne mimosas before seating. We were seated in the renovated wood paneled dining room and bar area with a roaring fire next to us. Unlike buffet style brunches we enjoyed the variety of choices of the prix fixed menu. We also enjoyed the five star table service. Our first course I had the avocado toast with quails egg, a Michelin star worthy plate. My fiancé had the salmon mouse in cone. Both epic creations by chef. My entree was the salmon and egg Benedict and my fiancé had the cheddar omelet. We shared each other plates and loved both. Our meal concluded with a plate of decadent desserts. Ok, I have been at many Michelin Star restaurants and this hidden gem will be found soon so get here before you can't get in once the foodies find this place. Chef Jeremy, Thank you for a Mother's Day never to be forgotten. We will be back.

Great great great bistro!!! Came here for lunch, great food and great service. Would highly recommend. Service is attentive and efficient. They want to make your dining experience pleasurable and it shows. Will def go back!!

Went to Cafe Boulud at Blantyre and the meal was spectacular. It was our first time out to a restaurant since Covid and we felt very safe. Everyone wore masks and the tables were a comfortable distance. We had the vichyssoise and tomato salad to start and the flavors were fresh and yummy. Then we had the burger and branzino which were just as delicious. The deserts were the topping on a really memorable evening. And we can't forget the beautiful cocktails and wine. You must go...

Exquisite, authentic and unpretentious Went for the hot chocolate bar with the family Beautifully served in the music room, truly an experience Liquid chocolate in a cup with homemade marshmallows and banana bread slices Tried 4 varieties off the menu... Worth the experience of $15 per person! Hoping this tradition continues

Quite possibly the most elegant dinner we've ever had. This was for a business dinner and the service, food and ambiance were all amazing.

Re: Review of my Wellness Guide, Kelty Greene and Tim my reservation agent…read more I just wanted to take a moment to share the wonderful experience I had with my wellness guide, Kelty Greene yesturday. She is one of my guides and we had a very thoughtful conversation about my itinerary. She made some key adjustments that really aligned with my needs and also took time to explain some of the concerns I had. I would absolutely give her a full 5-star rating- way to go, Kelty! Additionally, I had a conversation with Tim couple days ago who was my reservation agent. Tim went above an beyond-he helped me arrange payment for my package, showed a lot of care, and even spoke with his supervisor to ensure my concerns were met. I really felt protected and cared for throughout the whole process. Thank them both for such a fantastic experience. Best Regards, Sue O

And I really just want a face massage without getting a facial sometimes- for TMJ. Is that feasible? Overall- it was an okay experience. It wasn't as fabulous as Tucson.

They offer art classes but you can't take anything you make with you. The lady selling the trip had a heavy accent and spoke so fast I didn't catch that my wife and I were getting charged $900 each per night plus fees making it $1100. The room was clean but nothing special and certainly not worth $2200 per night. The "menu" never changed the 4 days we were there and only lists 5 items. We have been to several resorts and have never been billed separately to share a room. Over 12k for 3 days of mediocre service and amenities. Extremely disappointing. Can't see going back to one of these properties with these elevated prices compared to other resorts. No way to gain repeat Bussiness.

We knew we needed a place for 150 people and we knew we wanted it to be drivable for both family and friends in upstate New York and Boston.   We stumbled upon The Lake House Guest Cottages of the Berkshires after months of searching, but the only wedding we had seen hosted there was inside the main cottage. Reluctantly, we decided it was probably too small for us.   Fast forward another month.  Randomly one night, my wife and I both separately pulled up the venue again and I said, "We need to just call them. Maybe they have some grass we can put a tent on." After a couple of email exchanges, Eric, the owner, and Cory, the grounds keeper, invited us out to see the space and were instantly sold. The beautiful grounds, the stunning cottages (or as we like to call them, "mini mansions"), THE VIEW.   Not only did they have four cottages on site where guests could stay, but they also had a field where they had placed a tent for previous weddings that could hold up to 150 guests. We soon found out that over the winter months they would be adding three additional cottages for guests to stay and a seasonal tent to be used for weddings throughout the summer and fall. Needless to say, we booked it.   A couple months into planning, LHGC added a wedding coordinator to their awesome team.  We connected with Kelsey instantly, discussing plans we had made and things we had coming down the line. She was always available if we had a question or concern. Come time to do our walk through before the wedding, we laid out the entire day with the help of Kelsey and our caterer.  We walked away knowing we had the dream team on board.   When our weekend approached, all the new additions were complete and the space was more beautiful than ever. We had our rehearsal brunch Friday morning and welcome party Friday night, both of which allowed for the caterers to take full advantage of the catering kitchen in the main cottage. Kelsey and Cory were completely accommodating and there from start to finish to help with anything we needed.   Our guests arrived sporadically from Friday morning through the evening and spent time playing lawn games, kayaking and paddleboarding on the lake, and enjoying each other's company.  It was so nice to have the entire grounds at our disposal.   On our wedding day, it was just the same. Everything went off seamlessly. Kelsey and Cory were both there if something came up, made sure that set up was perfect, ran the ceremony and reception smoothly and effortlessly.   Our wedding was perfect. It was everything we could have dreamed it to be and more.   Thank you, LHGC, for welcoming us to the family!  We look forward to spending many anniversaries with you on Pontoosuc Lake!

This seemed like a very reasonable compromise in quality and price. There is nothing immediately within walking distance regarding restaurants unless you consider the restaurant in the hotel. This place, however, is on the road in between Lee and Lenox so is pretty convenient with a car, many places within 5-10 min drive. The lake views are gorge, especially if you are lucky enough to get a room overlooking it. Our view was of the parking lot but I can't complain given how much it cost per night. The room wasn't overwhelmingly large but we had enough room to open our suitcases, so that was nice. The bathroom was decently sized. The staff I interacted with were all very nice and friendly. I had to sign away the possibility of seeing another penny in my life if my dogs had any kind of accidents but fortunately they were well behaved. I am not sure if there is an elevator btw which came as a surprise. Fortunately this was just a two night stay (which doesn't guarantee anything with me) so I was able to carry my shit up the stairs pretty easily. I thought the bed was comfortable and they provided more pillow than I am used to. The thermostat worked well. There wasn't a closet or iron probably the first time I've ever needed to use one.
