Excellent, healthy, great food at fair prices. Very chill atmosphere. Staff is there to enhance the experience with kindness and friendliness and they're helpful too All around an excellent experience. I've been there 3 times and they're also consistent! read more

We have been before and always enjoyed the food. You have to come early and expect a long line. They are only open for breakfast and brunch. It's very casual. You can also sit outside Order, pay, get your number and sit down. We had the special which was a sweet potato chorizo hash with poached eggs and hollandaise - honestly the chorizo lacked flavor and was not spicy enough to counteract the sweetness of the potatoes. We also had the huevos rancheros which were sublime. Nicely spiced black bean/chili sat atop a corn tortilla, eggs, avocado sour cream ..etc. Also had the famous morning glory muffin - two cappuccinos. It's pricey but worth it! We will be back read more

Haven blew me away. I had to pick up my kid at Tanglewood after a final concert and 2 different old friends both recommended Haven in Lenox. One grew up nearby and stops at Haven on every visit home. My other friend's mom has a summer house in the vicinity so my buddy comes all the time also. I'd been warned about lines out the door, which held true, but it wasn't obscene and moved fairly quickly. The restaurant is super cute and the staff was nice also and let me move around after I was settled initially when I ran into friends from home who were also there for a Tanglewood pickup. I ordered a Veggie Benedict which was fantastic - asparagus, mushrooms and red pepper with the poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. So good. I also grabbed a Haven Oat Bar to go - its apricot, chocolate and ginger were amazing together. Wonderful restaurant. So good. read more

I've been here just twice while visiting the Berkshires, both visits were great and I really need to go every time I'm out there. I love their breakfast which was what we had on our most recent trip. My kids had the chocolate chip pancakes and demolished them quickly. They both said they were the best pancakes ever. I had the croissant French toast which was decadent but not too filling, a lovely breakfast. My husband had their special, pancakes with fresh peaches and mascarpone and he definitely had the best dish, tons of fresh peaches. The first latte I had was so good that I also got another to go. We also grabbed some baked goods for the road which was an awesome decision. Staff was super friendly and the restaurant is so lovely. Will be back for sure. read more

It was our first time in the area, and we came across this cozy spot by chance. What caught my eye was the beautiful coffee art and the variety of latte options. We came in as a family of four, and the food was simple yet delicious. My latte was unforgettable--just the perfect morning pick‑me‑up. The staff was friendly, and the creative vibe with plants and warm lighting felt welcoming. We even picked up funny socks from their gift aisle. Highly recommend for meetups or one‑on‑one chats. read more

We stopped in for what I thought would be breakfast but what GF thought would be "coffee and a snack". It's an order-at-the-counter type of situation. We made it just in the nick of time for breakfast. They have a bunch of good shit including vegetarian shit that was nice to see. Tons of variety too: sandwiches, scrambles, bowls, buritos, omelets, sweet breakfast things. I settled on the haven scramble with scrambled eggs, butternut squash, asparagus, spinach, and goat cheese. This shit was served with bread, salad, and potatoes. This was SO good especially with a splash of hot sauce they offered on the side. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the bite of the asparagus was a nice texture addition. The portion was very plentiful, I was full for hours which is very unlike me. I was also intrigued by their "caramel inferno" coffee. I did see some what I would guess is cayenne pepper floating around in there but didn't taste it. It was a good idea but didn't pan out. The coffee just tasted like a very good caramel coffee and I was not complaining about that. GF ordered a vanilla latte and msuhroom toast which she seemed to enjoy quite a bit. We really liked their outdoor patio which allowed us to bring the dogs. It was a lovely meal in very enjoyable weather. read more

I always liked coming here when I lived in Lenox and decided to comeback today while visiting and I am so happy I did. Ordered blueberry pancakes and the berries were fresh and delicious. The coffee is hot and fresh. Service is good and the staff are friendly. The place does get very busy and they also have outdoor sitting. Lots of fresh baked goods. read more

Long wait lines notwithstanding, brunch dishes and coffee delicious and beautifully plated.

We stopped into Haven Cafe and Bakery for breakfast while staying in Lenox for a few days over February vacation, and it was such a great find! Everything was delicious--especially the omelet topped with perfectly seasoned, incredibly flavorful tomatoes. Yum! The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the only real downside was the limited parking. Overall, a wonderful breakfast spot we're glad we discovered! read more

Wonderful cafe in Lenox! We stopped in for breakfast on our way through town and were very glad that we did. The menu is outstanding: a wide variety of freshly prepared, flavorful, nutritious dishes that are inclusive of all manner of dietary preferences. The service could not have been more lovely. The gentleman the counter was extremely helpful and welcoming. We got the breakfast burrito and the Southwest omelette, both of which were outstanding. Fresh, flavorful. Both came with home fries and salad, which were wonderful accompaniments. We left satisfied and fueled up for our journey. Would 100% stop in again next time we are in town! read more

We came to Haven everyday on our short trip to town. Frankly they are amazing in so many ways for a group style meal - casual and friendly, diverse menu with a lot of familiar yet unique options, excellent allergy awareness and great service all around. Though bustling, they are quick to move with attention and care and offer seating inside, outside and to go. My favorites list is almost too long: the gingerbread brownie - must try moisture and flavor. The pecan turtle was epic with delightful chocolate and crunch. The kale salad was so wonderfully balanced with the sweet potatoes and goat cheese. Each baked good feels packed with love and dense with nourishment. And to top it all - they have Oatly oatmilk, a favorite. Even better, they honor a classic brunch multi-drink setup with a delightful menu of classics like bloody Mary, espresso martini, and my favorite they fresh not too sweet elderberry blood orange spritz. Thank you for delicious meals everyday. Such a cute farmstore local vibe with a community space feel. read more

Haven Cafe & Bakery is located in the small town of Lenox, Massachusetts off Franklin street next to Yao Asian Fusion Cuisine, Prime Italian Steakhouse, and Bagel & Brew. Haven is a casual quick service cafe where customers must go up to the register and place an order and a server brings your meal to your table. The ambiance of Haven is traditional New England style with light wood tables and dark wood floors brick walls, and brick exterior walls. Haven specializes in coffee, breakfast, desserts, pastries, and lunch sandwiches. The blueberry baked French toast came with with maple mascarpone and a nice blueberry sauce. 8/10 The salmon Benedict came with Smoked salmon, asparagus and poached eggs on a croissant with dill hollandaise. 9/10 The Haven Cobb Salad came with Grilled chicken, NF bacon, marinated tomatoes, avocado and Spanish Bleu cheese on mesclun greens with red wine vinaigrette. 8/10 The Haven Burger came with a grass-fed, hormone and antibiotic free 6 oz Beef burger with Spanish Bleu cheese, onion confit and roasted mushrooms on a challah bun, served with house cut fries for $18. The burger was not ready to eat. The blue cheese came as a scoop and was not evenly distributed. I had to distribute the blue cheese with a knife and move the mushrooms on top of the burger and move the greens on top of the burger too. The burger was tasty and juicy and not overcooked or too dry. 9/10 The service was not applicable as this was not a full service restaurant. However, the lady at the register was friendly and the server bringing the food out was friendly. Everyone enjoyed their meals and there were no complaints from anyone. The haven mocha latte was delicious! Haven's prices were a bit on the high side for what we got but everything was good and that is to be expected of a small town in New England. If you're in the Lenox Massachusetts area and craving dessert, pastry, breakfast or coffee, definitely check out the Haven cafe & bakery! read more

You gotta understand what to do, but once you figure it out, all is good. If you can even get inside ( often the line is out the door), you order at the counter. Then they find you at your table. Ordering is quick, food delivery is slow because they are so popular. Loud, busy and full of entitled people who get in the way. But the breakfast is really good, and the desserts look like art. read more

So many options for eggs Benedict that I knew I had to try them bc I have trust issues with restaurants and eggs Benedict. It was a busy and energized morning at haven! You order and take a number and then seat yourself. We got a table first as it was busy. We had the blueberry pancakes which are made with corn meal and you can taste. They were a bit wet in the middle probably due to the berries not cooking all the batter but good all the rest. We also had the dill biscuit Benedict I ordered poached hard but made a mistake on that could have used the yolk. Potatoes were tasty too. The staff were nice and the ambiance was quaint full of tourists and locals too. We did find a hair in the plate but it wasn't (in) the food so we didn't complain read more

This is a must stop breakfast restaurant! It seems like a long wait, just hold on, it's not that long and worth the wait. You wait in line to order, in the mean time a lovely lady greeted us assigned us a # and placed it on our table. We ordered and sat at our table. Food was brought to us. The operation was a well oiled clock. Heres the best part. The food was awesome! i believe that was the best omelet Ive ever had. Cloudy day, hint of rain, some of us sleeping in ... then someone says: "How about breakfast at Haven?" and everyone suddenly mobilizes - and the car is full 10 minutes later. Haven is the kind of classic breakfast spot that everyone loves! Great classic breakfast menu, well-chosen ingredients (you can taste their freshness), simply prepared (so it can be entirely consistent!). One big dining hall, tables that give you the choice of talking to your neighbor - or not. And like the best of such places, it is at exactly the right price point for the food and ambiance it offers. Hey, it's a gray day out - how about breakfast at Haven? - read more

The food here is incredible. The prices are reasonable, the portions are large, and the quality is excellent. The eggs were the perfect texture. The servers are kind and friendly too. There is a line (even on a Monday midday!), but it moves efficiently. The outdoor seating area is lovely with umbrellas for shade & beautiful flower boxes. I can't wait to be back just to have these pancakes again! 10/10 highly recommend read more

PHENOMENAL. I guess we saved the best meal for last on our little winter weekend getaway to Lenox, MA. I had the heavenly Haven Scramble (Butternut squash, asparagus, goat cheese) with house potatoes, the delicious gluten-free sourdough and a Golden Milk Latte with oat milk. Picked up a bakery box of gluten free carrot cake and apple tart for the road--both were great (would have loved a little more filling in the apple tart, but still fantastic!). As a gluten intolerant person who has been strictly gf for the past eight years, this was one of the best breakfasts I've had just about anywhere. Fast, friendly service, full on a Sunday morning--but the crowd moved quickly. Affordable prices, nice location, lots of light flooding in through the windows, even on a snowy, overcast day. I believe TJ (or PJ!) was my server and he was so kind. Looking forward to returning. read more

We came here because of the reviews. My husband wanted the two egg meal and was told it was only for weekdays but gave it to my brother at a different register. I had avocado toast and it was just ok. My husband liked his food as did my brother and his wife. You order at the counter and then take a table that worked out for us. They don't come around for coffee refills but ask for a tip at checkout. I wouldn't come back but others in my party said they probably would. But all agree it's highly overrated. read more

Called in for a breakfast order and picked up Santa Fe omelets, a haven breakfast, and a sticky bun to go! We were visiting the area for the weekend and enjoyed a delicious breakfast here. Everything tasted delicious and was kid approved. The eggs were fluffy, pancakes were buttery and soft, and the fresh hot sticky bun paired perfectly with a cup of hot coffee. Highly recommend and would return one day! read more

Look for the line and all will be fine. Scouted this place on an early morning walk around Lenox. I've gone horribly wrong trusting crowds -- but wasn't disappointed this time. Cheese omelette was fluffy, French-style goodness. Typically the sides are an afterthought, but the dish came with a side salad that was well dressed and added some crunch and acidity to break the heaviness of the cheddar. Hibiscus iced tea was also welcome on a hot morning. Decaf drip also available, if you are so inclined. May work my way into some of the freshly baked pastries on another trip. Decor is simple, with a French-ish style bent. It's fine but not remarkable -- the food and service are the stars here. I loved the woman specifically assigned to grab a table for us while we waited in line. NYC efficiency with enough charm to avoid the drawbacks of -- frankly -- NYC efficiency. read more

Had a great breakfast here on a late morning when the line to order was out the door. When we got to the front of the line, I ordered a breakfast bowl and an earl grey vanilla. My wife and I went to the Berkshires and looked for a good breakfast spot and found a nice write up for this place. We ordered a breakfast bowl and one of the specials, baked blueberry French toast. We ordered a vanilla latte and a chai tea. The drinks came out quickly and a few minutes later the food came out. The breakfast bowl was a mix of arugula, goat cheese, eggs, quinoa and beans- I might be missing something in this magical healthier breakfast salad. It was light, savory, creamy and had a good mix of textures for a breakfast meal. The Blueberry French toast came out hot- more than just warm- and it was a perfect sweet complement to the breakfast bowl. It was almost a blueberry creamy bread pudding- it was very good. My wife's vanilla latte was exceptional. The only negative I have about the meal was my chai tea- it was unsweetened- honestly I did not even think to ask as I have never been given an unsweetened chai tea anywhere as they are usually sweetened. The server showed me that they had a table with sweeteners so I grabbed the honey but it was actually honey syrup- a very watered down version of honey. This was disappointing as I never could get the chai sweet enough and there was an underlying and aftertaste. I am not sure why such a quality place like Haven would not just have honey. Overall, the place was comfortable, bright and happening. It was one of the best breakfasts I have had in a very long time. We left satisfied but not overly full. I look forward to returning on our next trip and will try other dishes. I will get the vanilla latte and stay away from the chai tea, which is normally my favorite drink. I would give 4.5 stars if I could. read more

My friend and I came here for brunch and I'm glad we weren't in a rush, as the line was almost out the door when we arrived. You choose what you want to eat, order at the counter and then one of the staff members will assign you a table to sit at. The ambiance was very causal, with lots of families and larger groups and it felt a little like an old school diner. Despite a slower moving line, the staff were super friendly and accommodating. They have a number of baked goods to choose from before you even make it to the counter, in case you want something to go. We ordered the croissant French toast, the Salmon Benedict, a chai latte and a golden milk latte. Everything was pretty good, though I've certainly had better brunch other places, but this wasn't awful either. read more

Amazing pastries, food and coffee. Highly recommend for breakfast or brunch! Just give yourself some time to wait in the line.

Despite the frequent wait and higher price point, Haven puts out fabulous food with quality ingredients. Expect to spend $25 per person for breakfast. Veggie Omelet rich with mushrooms and spinach. Overall pretty good food and fresh ingredients. We came in for brunch with friends during our hiking trip in MA. You place your order first then get a table and they will bring the orders to you. Our group ordered Haven Omelette, Classic Egg Benedict, Beet, apple and Almond Salad, Croissant French Toast and Vietnamese Chicken Banh Mi. It was a delicious brunch.
