Overall pretty good food and fresh ingredients. We came in for brunch with friends during our hiking trip in MA. You place your order first then get a table and they will bring the orders to you. Our group ordered Haven Omelette, Classic Egg Benedict, Beet, apple and Almond Salad, Croissant French Toast and Vietnamese Chicken Banh Mi. It was a delicious brunch. A welcoming environment filled with delicious food. I was greeted by some of the employees into what seemed like a morning brunch rush on a Tuesday morning, but the wait moved quickly. You order at the front register and then bring a number to your table, one of the waiters got me a table set up outside before I even ordered! I had numerous recommendations from friends to visit Haven on a day off, and their glowing reviews proved true. There's something on the menu for everyone; I went with the veggies French rolled omelet and it was delicious. Served with some potatoes, baguette and lightly dressed greens, it was a light and filling way to start my morning. I also enjoyed a cold brew brewed in house and it was delicious- smooth and slightly sweet, no bitterness at all! Would highly recommend stopping in if you take a trip to Lenox- I made a whole morning out of it and walked the town and visited local shops, so fun! I had a cheese omlette that was very good (with the most yellow eggs I've seen in along time) and it came with tasty home fries that were not greasy, It came with some salad that had real lettuce (not iceberg) and a few other greens. It was a good meal. If you have not been there before (that's me), you look over a menu at the front and go to the register on the right to order. You are given a number to put on the table that you pick. It was quite crowded, but there were a few empty tables and the service was good. You get your own water from the back. Our cowgirl cookie was grainy and I'm doubtful the carrot cake slice I got will be worth eating based on a group near us who picked at theirs. I can't remember what I first ordered but they said they were out of it so I got the Turkey BLT and it was great. This is a nice little food destination with plenty of options to either eat there or take with you. I've been here a few times for coffee and a "treat" and also to pick up some desserts to bring when I was visiting friends. Came here on our way back to Boston after a weekend in the area. The bakery had a very chill vibe, you walk in, order, and choose a seat. Luckily when we went it was snowing outside so we easily found a table, this does not look like the normal occurrence as it is a popular establishment. I ordered a mocha latte and breakfast sandwich. My husband ordered a veggie omelette and a pancake. Orders came out shortly after we sat and everything was enjoyable. Staff were pleasant as well. All in all had a good experience and recommend it. This was one of the best omelettes I've ever tried, the eggs were so fresh and soft. Even though there were so many people in the restaurant, the food didn't take so much time to come. We both had a coffee - me, a regularly iced coffee, and her, a half-decaf oat milk latte. Both were tasty! I had the breakfast sandwich on challah - a classic sandwich that is kicked up a notch with the delicious challah. The employees were very nice and the look of everything was great, but the food is not worth that wait. Sorry. We paid about $40 for: -breakfast burrito: yummy! Kinda plain though. I had to add salt and dip it in hot sauce, otherwise it tested like eggs and lettuce in a wrap. There was supposed to be tomatillo sauce but I didn't even see its existence in my wrap. -salmon Benedict: eggs were over cooked. My fault for going on a busy morning but waited 10 minutes for a hot chocolate to go, watching him make hot drinks for people who were sitting down... I asked how much longer and was told it would be a whole, snide comment over the shoulder from the guy making the drinks. Canceled the order and left! They did refund not only the cost of the hot chocolate but the croissant also. I did mention to the manager is it it makes sense to not have a customer standing at the counter for 10 to 15 minutes while drinks are being made for the people who are already sitting down I was informed their beverage is served to them before their food arrives I was told that is their SOP. read more
