We absolutely loved this little shop! What a great find and the service was impeccable. Such a perfect New England, quaint bakery shop! We loved the Warren floors, and the tasty treats were delicious!

The setup of this bakery is exactly as if you had walked into a patisserie in Paris. It's located in the main street of Norman Rockwell's famous Stockbridge painting town, across from the general store. Keeping this in mind, you'll no doubt see a lot of tourists who probably have just come from the Rockwell museum and are wanting to see the town in person. I'm not supposed to eat chocolate but before I could stop myself, I ended up ordering a slice of this beautiful chocolate bundt cake ($3) a very generous slice. It was rich, and moist, everything you want in a bundt cake. We also got a chocolate croissant, as well as a giant sized macaroon. The macaroon was raspberry but had a pistachio filling that was incredible. This honestly was probably one of the best macaroons I've ever eaten ever. I didn't try the chocolate croissant, but I did also order a decaf latte. All of this came to just under $20, very reasonable. Service was great, beautiful ambiance, a definite stop must be had if you're ever visiting Stockbridge.

Rather than go on a Caribbean trip limping to celebrate our wedding anniversary+my birthday, we traveled to the Berkshires instead. Plus it's close to home- and, I had a scheduled torn meniscus procedure 2 days later. While in town, we forwent the usual walking trails we enjoy during our trips and did more driving instead. With that came noticing The Lost Lamb on Main St in quaint Stockbridge for a quick bite. We've visited one other Patisserie in this town but it was time to try something new. The whip-smart, Cordon Bleu graduate who opened Lost Lamb has brought all of her Paris experience to this cute spot. Lost L. combines café, patisserie, bakery- and provides folks with everything from coffee, to pastries to buns to hot chocolate (tasted more like Swiss Miss) and a couple of meatless sandwiches and others with bacon in this fun-looking spot. There are also jams and small kitchen items for sale. The young gals are friendly and so was the owner- who runs her patisserie the way she wants to run it. I've never eaten a macaron in my life. And? To be quite honest, I rather have a real dessert. But I'm a passion fruit savage- so whenever I see it, I want it. Plus, this macaron, was slightly bigger than the typical ones. I went for it. And boy.....did it taste like Passion Fruit! And the chocolate middle, was a nice surprise! The mini apple tartlet I took to-go had sliced apples, almonds and frangipane nestled inside a golden+ slightly sweet shortbread-type crust. Hubs went for the Bacon+cheese croissant sandwich and a baguette to-go. The baguette wasn't the common one we get elsewhere- this had a lot of flour left over on the bread itself and my clothes. It was nice though. Price was decent and so was the service. And while Lost Lamb offers about 4 savory items- the bacon that's being cooked for the sandwiches, overtook the entire small size of this Patisserie and wished the place smelled more like her heavenly pastries she's showcasing. But listen, if you're in the mood for some indulgent pastries and packaged goods, Lost L. is worth checking out. That is, if you don't mind smelling like bacon all over you and your clothes.

Whenever we visit, we always stop here because the food is always delicious... The service is impeccable and it's a fun French bistro type ambience in the middle of the Berkshires... The cookie is half eaten because I couldn't even wait!! Highly recommend!

I waited around 20 minutes…read morefor my food, and when it finally came out it was cold, like it had been sitting there forever. On top of that, I asked twice for my plain black iced coffee, and it didn't show up until after I finished eating, which kind of defeated the purpose of ordering it. It genuinely felt like the staff was more focused on chatting with each other than taking care of customers. The vibe from the employees was also not great. When I mentioned I was vegetarian, I got a reaction that felt really judgmental and dismissive, which made me uncomfortable. When I asked for the Wi-Fi, I got hit with a snarky, "Do you not see the sign?" while they pointed at something completely hidden. The whole thing came off as really passive-aggressive. Overall, the service felt rude and unwelcoming, the food was cold, and the drink situation was just annoying. I left feeling like I had spent money just to be treated poorly. I've actually given this place a few chances, because I do like the aesthetics, but the food and service are just not good. The food is bland, and I don't feel like paying $20 for something that tastes like cardboard. ALSO I ordered a kale salad and the kale wasn't even massaged. It was just straight up kale dressing and a few pumpkin seeds. This was $17 by the way.

Most recently my husband and I split a turkey club crepe, French onion crepe and seasonal strawberry rhubarb crepe. All brilliant. 2 years ago when we came through we had the French toast breakfast crepe (which included eggs and bacon inside it) which I still think about because it was delicious, but so confusing that those flavors were so good together. The little salad given with the lunch crepes is appreciated too. This spot is usually pretty busy. You order at the counter, take a number and sit. They have a fridge of tap water carafes you can grab for your table and they will bring the kitchen items out to you. Sometimes there's an in shop singer. It's a nice space with flowers, art and local interest items as decor. The only uncomfortable moment is it bottlenecks a lot by the order counter and can be crowded there.
