Best cookies ever! I stayed at an Airbnb in Lee and our host left them as a gift. We quickly purchased them at the store!

Where can I order your Ginger cookies? I live in WI and they are not available here. Thanks.

Hello Joan, I'm sorry but we are not currently producing Ginger Shortbread. We use a specific cut of diced ginger that works for our production process & is also unsulfured. Our supplier is awaiting overseas shipment. I'm hoping it will arrive soon… Read more

I went to The Starving Artist recently and honestly had a terrible time. I waited around 20 minutes…read morefor my food, and when it finally came out it was cold, like it had been sitting there forever. On top of that, I asked twice for my plain black iced coffee, and it didn't show up until after I finished eating, which kind of defeated the purpose of ordering it. It genuinely felt like the staff was more focused on chatting with each other than taking care of customers. The vibe from the employees was also not great. When I mentioned I was vegetarian, I got a reaction that felt really judgmental and dismissive, which made me uncomfortable. When I asked for the Wi-Fi, I got hit with a snarky, "Do you not see the sign?" while they pointed at something completely hidden. The whole thing came off as really passive-aggressive. Overall, the service felt rude and unwelcoming, the food was cold, and the drink situation was just annoying. I left feeling like I had spent money just to be treated poorly. I've actually given this place a few chances, because I do like the aesthetics, but the food and service are just not good. The food is bland, and I don't feel like paying $20 for something that tastes like cardboard. ALSO I ordered a kale salad and the kale wasn't even massaged. It was just straight up kale dressing and a few pumpkin seeds. This was $17 by the way.

Most recently my husband and I split a turkey club crepe, French onion crepe and seasonal strawberry rhubarb crepe. All brilliant. 2 years ago when we came through we had the French toast breakfast crepe (which included eggs and bacon inside it) which I still think about because it was delicious, but so confusing that those flavors were so good together. The little salad given with the lunch crepes is appreciated too. This spot is usually pretty busy. You order at the counter, take a number and sit. They have a fridge of tap water carafes you can grab for your table and they will bring the kitchen items out to you. Sometimes there's an in shop singer. It's a nice space with flowers, art and local interest items as decor. The only uncomfortable moment is it bottlenecks a lot by the order counter and can be crowded there.

"You need bread, try the bakery You need lovin', look here,…read morebaby I got just what you need" (The Doors) Well, whatever your needs might be, you'll probably take care of it at Giuseppina's Italian Bakery, because they really do have it all. Their website, counters, shelves, and showcases offer you temptations everywhere you look. Want a pastry? What kind of a question is that....sure you do, so how on Earth are you going to choose between these? Cannoli, Tiramisu, 3 kinds of mousse, eclairs, frosted or plain brownies (are you bold enough to get a brownie with peanut butter buttercream frosting?), cream horns, rum rolls, an amazing peach concoction of sweet dough soaked with peach juice and rum and filled with vanilla pudding (!), Sfogliatelle, Zeppol, cream puffs, NY style cheesecake, fruit slices (peaches and strawberries with whipped cream layers and frosting), pasticiotti, cappuccino slices, Amaretto Squares, Limoncello Cake Slices and Chocolate Brownie Cake Slices. And there's more - miniature pastries, Cheese danish, apple, raspberry and blueberry turnovers, Cranberry Orange scones, blueberry scones, chive scones, and roasted red pepper scones, lemon and cherry squares. Get the picture? And I haven't mentioned their Italian cookies, 25 cake varieties, cupcakes, cake pops, pizza slices, sandwiches and stuffed breads. The truth is, this place is fantastic and is clearly in the top ten percent of Italian bakeries we've visited. We picked up an assortment of cake slices, a croissant, a scone, and a donut yesterday. They all looked amazing! We started off splitting that donut, and it was great -very light, not too sweet and just plain delicious. Shout out to the young lady who waited on us, she was pleasant and friendly, and our interaction was a far contrast to some of the less than favorable interactions reported by other Yelpers. PRO TIP 1) Don't worry about parking- they're in a shopping center with plenty of parking. 2) How good does their fig, prosciutto and Asiago cheese stuffed bread sound?
