I stopped through here on the way back from a nearby meditation retreat and am glad I did! First of all, the prices are amazing. Three big scoops for $6.75? Yes, please! I got a trio of pink peppermint, caramel pecan (sugar-free but surprisingly delicious), It's so hard to find peppermint ice cream that doesn't have chocolate, so kudos to Lucky's for their pink peppermint! This was a super delicious ice cream combo, and it supports my assertion that the best ice cream in MA is found at little places like this along the side of the road. read more

Came for ice cream and they only had one person working. I felt bad for the kid. They have a lot of flavor options of ice cream. I choose Mississippi mud pie. The ice cream was not good. The flavor wasn't strong and it tasted stale. I would not come back. read more

This place has many tasty ice cream flavors and toppings. They also do milkshakes. They gave my dog some whipped cream which made her very happy. Teenagers working at the window seem bored most of the time but are pleasant. I wish they were open year round. They have a nice seating area out back too. read more

This ice cream place is fantastic! They have so many choices including vegan ice cream. Of course they also have the classic soft serve ice cream if you're so inclined. This place took me back to my childhood, the typical seasonal ice cream place where you order at the window and sit outside to eat it or take it home. Very nice fellow waited on us and I loved my old school vanilla soft serve cone dipped in chocolate! Sooooo good!!! read more

Me and my family were craving ice cream and found this place nearby while on vacation while pulling up we were all excited the ambiance ce was amazing and there were a few people in line which was a good sign, however from there it went down hill, the orders that we had put through with the young man while doing so he was helping the one girl who he claimed was new which was fine but while coming back to continue the rest of our order he saw the growing line and said "for fucks sake" loud enough for us to here from there once the order was paid for and set up to be made he said that "for this one he wants all this shit on the top and bottom" when receiving our orders half of them were wrong and missing item we received one that had nuts in it fortunately the person was not allergic to that specific nut, when we brought up our concerns and complaints the man had given us a major attitude about the situation saying that "his parents own the place and that he's been here for 10 hours and that they have been busy since 3. I can understand the frustration and stress from this situation but the way he handled it was completely uncalled for, he started arguments every time we had asked for it to be fixed. To be concise the ambiance was great, however we had an allergy concern, terrible service and over 3/4 of the orders wrong. read more

OMG!!! Toasted coconut ice cream is the best and so hard to find. Not only is theirs fantastic, to add bliss there are tiny pieces of chocolate throughout. The chocolate enhances rather than covers up the rich toasted coconut flavor. Add a scoop of the chocolate lovers ice cream (can't recall the exact name but I asked for the most chocolate ice cream they have) and it is a recipe for this ice cream lover's dream. And, the two generous scoops cost $3.98!! (A few days before I took my friend to a chain ice cream place in another state and for the two of us it was just under $16.00. For two 2-scoop dishes. We walked over to this place after having a small lunch at Joe's Diner. There is ample parking and plenty of seating. I ordered a small vanilla soft serve with a birthday cake flavor burst. I ordered it in a cup because of the heat. I thought it was delicious and the price was very reasonable; a lot cheaper than what I've been paying back home. My friend ordered a rocky road cone and it was huge - she couldn't finish it. The young men working were very nice and friendly and answered a couple of my questions regarding recommendations. I had every intention of stopping in again the following day before heading back home, but I wasn't able to. I highly recommend getting ice cream here. My kinda place! Over the weekend, while heading into town from my folks place, I spotted this super cute ice cream shop on the side of the main road. I saw there was a pretty long line so I knew I had to pull in. The line moved quickly so I made sure to read the menu as fast as I could. I ended up with a medium Muddy Boots. on a sugar cone. It was a wonderful mountain of vanilla ice cream mixed caramel swirl and brownies. For a medium, it seemed huge! And for only $5 and change, it was more than fairly priced. I guess I'm just used to prices be exorbitantly high for ice cream lately in new york.. either way, love this spot! read more

5 Stars because... I scream! You Scream! We all Scream for ice cream! 5 stars because any flavor combination you choose is a great choice. There's no outside dining right now in the seating area but you can get your ice cream and Social Distance which is nice and because I'm NOT a physical contact person, that suits me fine. Lucky's has an excellent selection soft-serve, hand dipped, organic and non-dairy ice-cream flavors to choose from and toppings galore. My girls got their cones and cups but as long as COVID-19 is alive and well, I'm sticking with what goes in a cup so a butter pecan (my favorite flavor) milk shake with some Heath crunch pieces blended in was an excellent choice for me. The weather here is is perfect, there's an awesome mountain breeze and Ice cream or a milk shake on a day like today is fantabulous! I mean, it's ice cream, not a whole lot anyone can do to mess that up besides NOT show up... and everyone showed. Just a great day! read more

Vanilla raspberry ripple ice cream no sugar added cones were amazing. Fly fish and fudge triple scoop was delicious. The coffee ice cream on a cone was sooo creamy and smooth it was outstanding. The kiddie cone birthday cake with sprinkles in a dish was devoured by the little one with lots of smiles and joyous reaction!! The day was sunny with a cool breeze and we enjoyed our ice cream sitting in the shade under the trees. Wonderful experience all around read more

While driving by, we saw that this place was packed, so we stopped after dinner to get a scoop. I am so glad we did -- this ice cream is incredible! It's of the best I've had anywhere, honestly. The flavors are varied and all interesting, and the melds are complex and delicious. We even came back the next night despite being full from dinner because I couldn't pass it up! Definitely make a stop when you're in the area. read more

Has anybody ever gotten a hard ice cream milkshake here? Because today I realized that every single time I've ordered a milkshake they are, somehow, "out of milk". It's an odd coincidence since we only come here maybe one dozen times per year, and I only am in the mood for a milkshake a few of those times. Anyway, the ice cream is pretty good- perhaps overly sweet, and the service, given that they seem generally short staffed, is also pretty good & efficient. read more

Lucky's is one of those places that you really fall hard for the minute you walk inside. Visually, it's a dizzying kaleidoscope of colors, with those day glow and pastel chalked menu boards of flavors everywhere- over and to the sides of the order counter, and a huge one on the right side. And those flavors!! They have an interesting pricing strategy here- two tiered pricing for "Classic" and "Premium" flavors. Some of the Premiums are pretty amazing sounding, with things like candies and brownies and cookie dough and fudge and cookies tossed into the hopper. The coolest Premium I saw? Two words, baby -Blueberry Pancake! A small Classic is $2.75 and a small Premium is $3.25. I had a small cone with Vanilla Raspberry Ripple NSA, and it was great -just bursting with flavor. They have a pretty cool playground like space outside, so the little darlings have plenty of things to climb on and be entertained. read more

My new favorite ice cream place in The Berkshires! They have both soft serve as well as hand dipped ice cream cones with lots of flavors so everyone will find their favorite type of ice cream - also, the location has plenty of parking and several outdoor picnic tables for seating. The building looks inviting, bright and clean, and the staff all seemed efficient and positive. A great find! read more

Solid variety. Alternatives too like, GF, DF, VEGAN. This is Gifford's icream. I tried a few flavors: muddy boots, peanut butter pie, Maine deer tracks, and toasted coconut. Only 2 guys work here when I came today but they are so fast and friendly! All flavors we ordered were delicious! Peanut butter cup, soft serve twist, pistachio, coffee, and mint chocolate chip. Their smalls are really big - two good sized scoops on a cone/cup. Their prices are so low! When we went all ordering had to be down outside, but the inside is open for seating and it's nice and air conditioned. You can order outside and wait inside for your order to be called. This place has a lush variety of frozen dessert species, and plenty of different flavors and containers to let you tame them all. The grill wasn't running when I passed through, but if that's the case on your visit too, please, seize the opportunity to appreciate an even greater share of this paradise. Survey the menu to the edges of its chilled world! Pursue the most transient of weekly flavors! Examine the strangeness of tastes and textures described only in lost texts! The Berkshires has lots of good ice cream places but this but is one of the unknown favorites. Located in downtown Lee, Lucky's is a quiet green building just off the main drag. With 30+ flavors plus soft serve and froyo everyone can find something here. They even do free whipped cream and sprinkles. At about $4 for a medium (3 scoops), it's hard. It to be satisfied. They are a but pricey but it is downtown stockbridge. Overall quality of the food has been good each time I have taken clients there. I have had a western omelette, a quesadilla and just eggs over easy. No homefries with the omelettes those are extra. I personally do not care since I dont eat home fries usually but people expect it. There is a $15 minimum on a credit card

However, when I got to my vehicle, I decided to have a quick taste and everything inside was cold including the ground beef. I had to go home and zap the burrito in the microwave for a hot burrito, which tasted fine afterwards. This food stand really needs to keep their meat products at a hot temperature when serving to customers. Eating cold ground beef is not recommended.
