Service was fast, the Market was clean, and there are picnic tables across the street under trees to enjoy lunch. The town is nice to walk around. Prices are good for this area! To save a few dollars, we typically purchase widely-available staples/packaged goods at the Big Y next door, then head over to Guido's for specialty items only. We are not particular fans of the cafe items, however, which we've tried when we wanted to eat breakfast before shopping - wrapped breakfast sandwiches in the cafe steamtable have been greasy or generally odd-tasting (I'm looking at you, weird crumbly breakfast biscuit), and the few times we've ordered milk-based hot coffee drinks, they've been burned. Moving forward, we'll skip the cafe when we shop. Though the parking lot in the GB location is MUCH more manageable than the crazy parking lot at the Lenox location - which makes it worth the drive to GB alone...

I especially love the andouille seasoning chicken. The chicken itself is so fresh, so moist when cooked... The seasoning is excellent. Pat it dry with some olive oil and sea salt, roast it and it will be the best roast chicken you've ever had. They have a really good selection of local produce, I do wish their dairy section featured more local vendors. I also love their housewares aisle, they always have the cutest baggus. Come here, buy a chicken, and don't leave without a baggu.

I had the Garden of Vegan which was stuffed with flavorful veggies and a chickpea/Kale spread that was so good I want to see if I can buy it by the container! My husband and son enjoyed The Bird (a grilled chicken hoagie) and my SIL had the My Way (fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, arugula, and balsamic reduction on a baguette) and she was able to restrain herself to only eating half because she wanted to enjoy it again the next day! I picked up some Tates cookies and bananas to round out the meal and I have to say this was so incredibly enjoyable! We have rarely gone to Guidos in the past however recently I went to see if I could pick up a Berkshire food item to bring as a hostess gift and the person who helped me was incredibly knowledgable and went out of her way to find what I was looking for. The checkout people are so nice and friendly. The only two drawbacks and what is making this a four star rating rather than a five: the prices ($$$$$) and the crowded parking lot.
