My wife and I love to stop in whenever we are in the Berkshires. This place has killer bagel sandwiches and coffee. If we lived locally we would be here all the time. Fast and friendly service as well. Give this place a try !

They served me an iced coffee but didn't put any creamer sugar is in it and filled it pretty well to the top where I couldn't even add any which was a little disappointing a little annoying as well. I did end up ordering what I thought would be a turkey bacon egg and cheese on a bagel which just turned out to be a turkey sandwich meat which wasn't that great. And I wouldn't ordered it if I knew it was cold cut meat... I rather had the turkey bacon.

Need a great bagel and a cup of coffee? Look no further than bagel and brew. Not the biggest menu by any means, but they have all that you could need in a bagel shop. We got an everything bagel with the buffalo cream cheese. The buffalo cream cheese has the perfect kick to it. We also got a salt bagel with scallion cream cheese that was great! Ummm... YUMMM!!!! We moved to the area a few months ago and have been struggling to find a good bagel/breakfast sandwich and cold brew coffee. The cold brew is on tap and so delicious! They even have simple syrup to sweeten the cold drinks. The bagels are what you expect from a bagel, and the sausage egg & cheese sandwich was perfect. And the maple bacon cream cheese is ridiculously delicious. The wait staff was friendly and efficient and the place has a very chill and inviting vibe with cool wall murals, paintings and decor. read more

The bagels are great, boiled then baked. Yummy! Service is fast, there can be a line so be patient. Breakfast sandwich's are eggselent! Coffee is very good, can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The prices and serving sizes are the best in Lenox. There is seating outside and inside. They have bar seating and tables. Very clean, the staff takes pride in keeping Bagel and Brew neat, clean, and welcoming. There is parking also! Don't miss this place! read more

Great little hole in the wall!! We stopped here on the way home to CT from a Belmont trip to Saratoga. The service was quick, the nitro cold brew was delicious as were the bagel breakfast sandwiches. Cool, quirky place inside that also has a bar and a beer garden! read more

While my husband and I were vacationing in the Berkshires we went to Bagel and Brew for our breakfasts. They had some of the tastiest breakfast sandwiches we have had. The Lumberjack was fantastic and I was full for hours. My husband got one of the smoked salmon sandwiches and it was perfect. The salmon was amazing and wasn't overpowering at all. read more

Happy to find this bagel gem with outdoor seating while visiting Lenox during the pandemic. Lots of signs for proper social distancing and hand sanitizing. Well organized and fast service. Even us New Yorkers thought the bagels were delicious.... and the server was lovely. Outdoor picnic tables were convenient and a nice atmosphere with soft music in the background. read more

I got a pastrami sandwich for lunch at Bagel and Brew today. The pickles, the onions, the mustard, etc., were very tasty, then like an old Wendys ad, I wanted to scream "where's the pastrami"? I cannot understand the raves about this place's bagels. They are meh, neither all that good tasting, nor having good texture, nor having crunch. I doubt they make them right, boil and bake. Better get it toasted--a way to compensate for a C- bagel. I asked for my bagel to be scooped out for my lox (a bit too salty) and cream cheese sandwich. It wasn't. Prices are good. Really should be 3.5 stars. Read my note at the end to see where the extra half star went. Great bagels. Their day olds for $1.50 are still good to eat. You don't get. Choice of what's in the bags, but they are all good. They get their bagels from Bagels Too in Pittsfield, so they do run out. Note: they charge you to half and toast the bagel. Not cool. read more

The bagels were great and the tea and coffee were good, and I was grateful that they're open at 7:00 on a Sunday, when all of the other places are still closed. The counter staff was ridiculously friendly and cheerful for that time of the morning! There are a bunch of picnic tables outside which is lovely on an early midsummer morning. I even saw one of the staff bringing a bowl of water out for someone's dog. Very thoughtful. read more

However, my wife had recently just heard about Pearl's, and we happened to be passing in the neighborhood thirty minutes before their 2 PM closing. Yes, they were still open, and no, they didn't have any bagel's left. In fact, that was the very first thing the clerk announced as we came through the door. "We are sold out of bagels and cannot make any sandwiches." As we looked at the small display case we saw four different pastries on a plate. My wife asked what they were and chose two. One was a strawberry marshmallow muffin and the other was some kind of brownie combination ($11 for the two). Once we returned home we were ready to share them. The muffin was super fresh, soft, and very enjoyable. But we didn't believe that there was a strong strawberry flavor and neither of us detected a marshmallow flavor. It didn't matter! This was a delicious muffin no matter what the flavor was supposed to be. The brownie "thing" might have been what their website menu calls a "Featured Daily Brownie." This looked like they used their challah dough to roll up around brownie mix like you would make a cinnamon roll with cinnamon/sugar instead of the brownie mix. Whatever, it was a total success. It was delicious with two different chewy textures and lots of flavor. Maybe some day my wife or I will have to be in Albany around 9 AM and get to try the bagels.

I had a plain gluten friendly bagel with scallion cream cheese (homemade as well) and it was so delicious, not even overly chewy! You could buy these bagels if you are gluten intolerant and use them as bread. They're perfect. Pictured here is what I bought to take home, gluten friendly Asiago Parmesan bagels and roasted garlic cream cheese. The gentleman working gave me a sample of the cream cheese and it was delicious- had to buy it! The eggs were cooked perfectly (they look more done in the photo but were nicely runny) and the bacon was crisp and smoky. I didn't get to try my be wife's sausage, but (a) that itself says something and (b) she said it was really good, not the "supermarket" grade that some places serve.
