I was visiting the Hudson, NY area with my spouse and daughter from Tennessee and stopped in Hudson Bagels on the recommendation of a fellow guest at the inn where we stayed during our visit. My family felt a bagel would make a great mid-morning breakfast/early lunch option, so we gave Hudson Bagels a try. Each of us was quite pleased with our experience! The fella that greeted us upon entering was nice and helpful in guiding our selections. The bagels were fresh and as good as any NYC bagel I have ever eaten. My family and I couldn't have been happier with our visit. The only downside was the limited amount of indoor seating available, but that's not a complaint--rather, just something to know if you're planning of stopping in for a bagel. If the weather is cold, the outdoor seating isn't likely an option. I highly recommend Hudson Bagels! If I ever make it back to Hudson, I'll visit this shop again! :-) read more

4.0 Not a bad spot for a quick bagel. The guy who took our order was super friendly. I got an onion bagel with cream cheese. One thing I noticed about these bagels is that there's a lot of seasoning on them. All the bagels in the display seemed heavily seasoned--whether it was everything, garlic, onion, or whatever, they were covered in it. The bagel itself wasn't bad. More than a bagel shop. Had a job I. Hudson and like most days when I'm out of town working, I'm looking for something easy, good, and fast. We left the job site Un thrilled as we headed for the chain coffee shop for a hotdog. As I passed Hudson Bagels, I said to my partner "do you want a bagel sandwich instead". He said why not....and I am glad we did. It's a cute little place that is welcoming and very clean. The guy behind the counter was friendly and helpful. He immediately suggested their smash burger. He talked me into a double (they are small) loaded. I have to say it was perhaps the best burger I've ever paid for. In fact I think it rivals my grilled burgers. This is a place I would drive an hour to have a burger lunch with a friend. OUTSTANDING burger. I never got a chance to try their bagels. Not sure when I go back if I would at all be interested in a bagel knowing they have that burger on the menu. Highly recommend this place. read more

We came to Hudson bagels early morning to pick up a dozen bagels and schmear. They had a lot of unique bagel options, and a huge number of cream cheese options as well. We got a bakers dozen and all the bagel varieties were very tasty. The cinnamon raisin bagel was very cinnamon heavy. For a bakers dozen and a large cream cheese, it was $24 which I thought was reasonable. It looked like they had a lot of fun coffee options, but we just stuck with bagels. Staff was welcoming and made us non-locals feel at home (tho it's clear the majority of stopper bys are regulars which is always a good sign) 2 small tables inside, plenty more tables outside. I ended up getting the Sicilian which was a double espresso with hazelnut and vanilla and it was delicious! Best Bagels outside of NYC!. Comparable to any of the best & trendiest bagel spots I've been to in nyc and bk. All the staff is super nice! & they make you bagel or other items quick and easy. I LOVE HUDSON BAGEL. I recently moved to the area. I found Hudson Bagel pretty quickly and it has become my go-to place. Their bagels and coffee are delicious, but I keep coming back because the people are so friendly. I am a stranger in town, but they always greet me as if they know me. All their customers seem to be regulars. The train engineer stops his engine and hops off there to pick up food. It is like CHEERS, where everyone knows your name, but without the beer. Fresh ingredients, huge portions. My friend and I both saved half our sandwiches "fa-laytah." The shop is in the city of Hudson just a short distance off the main drag (Fairview Avenue). Walking in this restaurant is clean and the staff are more than happy to offer a warm welcome. You can tell these folks are happy at work and seem genuinely excited to work here and you can taste it in every bite. The bagels are so fresh and delicious and they have a crazy good selection of cream cheeses to choose from. Looking for a breakfast sandwich that can separate itself from the same ole same ole you find around town? These folks have it down right. Look at the menu and tell me you can't find something that looks good! I dare ya! I triple dozen dog dare you! Trust me when I say, I have had my fill of bagels over the years from NYC TO NJ to California and most states in between. I'm really happy to have a real bagel place now so close to home. Stopped in one afternoon while out and about. Located on rt 66 in Hudson. Site of the old seafood restaurant. So now it's shared by a smoke shop ie cigars etc. shared building with Hudson bagels. Loads of fresh bagels in a glass case. And loads of sandwich choices. I had The Godfather Italian cold cuts with lettuce tomato roasted red peppers provolone and finished with oil and vinegar all on a yummy toasted sesame bagel. and my wife had the Hangover. On a toasted everything bagel with ham cheese fried egg hash browns and cheese Both were fresh and generously prepared. We chose to eat outside at a table cause it was a beautiful day. Can't hardly wait to try another one of there creative bagelwichs. Recommend!!! read more

This was the first time I bought there. I ordered a sandwich of a plain bagel with ham, yellow mustard and cheese. I really got a very very thick bagel with hardly any ham in it and something like a brown sauce on it and a very small thin piece of cheese like Krafts cheese. For about $8. I couldn't really taste the ham. I doubt I would buy it again. read more

my whitefish salad with tomatoes and red onion on an everything bagel was super delicious. but the fact that it was an extra $2.50 for a schmear of flavored cream cheese was ludicrous imo (next time i have to remember to ask how much these things are!). i also got a baker's dozen of bagels for $18 that were real crowd pleasers, although i have no idea what bagels cost these days. the fact that they don't list their prices on the board just bothers me (i can't recall a deli/sandwich place that doesn't list prices), but other than that, the place was great. friendly service, with a nice variety of sandwiches; we need more places like that! i also like the 3 stooges sign in the bathroom read more
