Like eating at grandmas house. This place is not fancy at all, so if you are looking for polished stainless steel and HGTV subway tiles keep driving. This is your old country grandmas place complete with rooster knick knacks and unchanged decor for 20 yrs. ,but clean and familiar. My breakfast was perfect! Eggs, bacon , home fries, rye toast and pancakes . Taste like grandma is in the back cooking everything in an old cast iron skillet this was just what I was looking for. Service was fast and friendly.

A little gem I almost passed. Glad I stopped. Super friendly and welcoming staff. Diner food competently done. Reasonably priced. Small dining area. Booths, Tables and counter seating. Clean restroom.

Flo's definitely has a local feel and is busy on Sunday morning. The food is great and there's a good selection, including vegetarian options. It seems a little pricey for what it is, but if you're looking for a solid diner experience, put Flo's on your list.

It is kinda like a mom and pop style small cafesque space with some Greek imagery and vibes. We took a few menus to a table near the side of the room and began to check it out. Fair amount of choices to choose from and there are beer choices and a beverage cooler stocked full as well. I decided to go with a steak and cheese grinder and my friend a Greek salad with chicken and we had a side prefer of meatballs too. The food was very fresh and very hot straight out of the oven which we could see into the tiny kitchen in the back from our table. Very friendly couple running the place. Everything was very tasty and delicious. The salad had fresh larger chunks of cucumbers and tomatoes and was delightful along with some tasty dressing as well. All in all very nice lunch and the pizza looked and smelled amazing we did not order any but will definitely have to try it next visit.

The person who answered the phone was very rude because I didn't know what kind of dressing they wanted...I said that I'd go ask the person what kind and when I told them over the phone I heard a huff and then they hung up. I definitely won't be ordering from here in the future since they clearly didn't want my business.

The first time I was there I had the avocado toast, which was great. My friend had their breakfast burrito which he thought was soggy and fell apart but hey it happens. Food delivery was very slow the first time, but our server was nice and the drinks were flowing so it was fine. Our table all has 20+ years each in the service industry, we get it. Today once again the crunchy French toast was amazing. We got it for the table to share and everybody couldn't get enough. The service was just really weird. It was like she really didn't want us to be there. And she didn't want to be there. She wasn't really rude, but she was pretty indifferent and took a long time to come back to the table. A second round of drinks was obviously off putting to her. Then I needed a change for a 20 so I could just leave cash for the check and hadn't seen her for a while so I asked another server who just walked by and said I'm not your server without even making eye contact with me. When I got the change, she was a little bit rude with me about it. It was 1 o'clock, they were past the brunch rush. It was just an odd experience with the server. I get having a bad day, but you shouldn't make it so obvious that you wished that you didn't have to be there.

There are baked items everywhere along with gift shop inventory. A few seats line the shop for a quick bite and sip before heading back on the road. The second is a dine-in restaurant with a diverse menu and great service. The space is cozy and there are two spaces. The bar area and the dining room. Both areas have ample seating and invite you to stay and relax a bit. I opted for the chicken and waffles. A+ The breakfast burrito was good, but was not the typical flavor profile of what I've had previously. People next to us ordered the Hangover Hash and it looked plentiful and enough to feed two! Amazing overall with lightning fast service. The receipt has a QR code allowing you to pay with you phone. Very convenient. We ate here twice in four days and hope to visit again the next time we're in town.

Perfect meal. Perfect service. Everything was delicious!…read more We visited for a family birthday and the welcoming on arrival was pleasant. Warm beautiful dining room with a wood burning fireplace, with a fire going, on a chilly night. Ann, our server was perfect. Perfect timing and flow, gave us recommendations and bussed empty glasses and plates every pass. They start you off with warm fresh Italian bread and a bean salad. Both were tasty and they also said popovers are coming. Another staff appeared with a piping hot fresh baked basket of popovers and gave us each one. It didn't even need butter. Amazing. It felt like being in a bakery in Italy or Europe. Next, our apps and salads arrived. The calamari was tasty, as was the mushroom beignets. I wasn't used to this style of mushroom caps but boy were they delicious. The salad was tasty and came with fresh homemade bread bits as croutons. Everyone at the table enjoyed the apps, the popovers, and our entree. The specials list and deserts sounded wonderful but it was just so much food, we were full. A+ all around and I will be going back soon.

What we found was a little pocket of comfort, warmth, and care tucked into New Lebanon. The space itself is immediately welcoming. A dimly lit, cozy dining room to the right where diners looked relaxed and easy. And a cute, fun, warm bar area to the left with an impressive selection. I could absolutely see us popping in for an app and a drink midday, or a pre-dinner hangout while awaiting friends for reservations. Luckily, we did have reservations which I didn't expecting needing on a cold, late fall Wednesday. The popovers arrived warm and tender, and the mushroom beignets were these beautiful little flavor grenades that opened with an explosion of deep, soulful umami. They immediately set the tone for a meal made with intention. The homemade pasta is something special. My cavatelli came with house-made fennel sausage and shrimp, admittedly the shrimp was overcooked, but the dish as a whole was so generously and lovingly crafted, that it was easy to forgive. The short ribs were truly memorable: succulent, comforting, and exactly the kind of dish you want to share with people you love. Dessert was beautiful. Fresh, and grounded in local ingredients. That spiced, autumn-forward apple crisp was a perfect ending to our meal. One moment that stuck with us: a nearby four-top all ordered the tournedos of beef in perfect unison. It felt like witnessing a small tradition, an insider's secret. We smiled at each other knowing exactly what we'll order next time. Mario's has that comforting ability to make a meal feel like a memory. It's warm and sincere. Dad was right, it's absolutely worth returning to again and again.

Let me tell you story:…read more My wife and I visit the Berkshires for the first time as a Living Social B&B trip. It snows like a demon and our gmapped 3-hour trip turns into 7-and-a-half hour nightmare, on sparsely plowed roads, in a car with no snow tires, rolling 20 miles an hour in the dark. When we got to the B&B, cold, wet, and starving, we called up every restaurant we could find and NO ONE would deliver. Same reasons: they were either closing, we were out of range of the delivery, or the weather was too awful. But ALL of them recommended the same thing, in a SCOFFING tone: "You could always try Papa John's. Maybe THEY'll deliver". My wife and I don't really eat dairy so calling a pizza place has been our last option. But between that and go hungry, we said F-it and let's try although by now it must be too late, too far, or too bad out. First off, the woman on the phone was mega-accommodating, and pleasant. Non-cheese pizza with extra sauce? No problem. Portabello mushrooms? No worries. The bread is oil-based, not dairy? They're on it. They have our number, and can find out B&B? Wow, that actually was badass service. Thank you order-taking person. Second, the Driver said he could deliver (even though they're in Lenox, and we were staying at the Apple Tree Inn which apparently is like 2 towns over - 45 minutes - in the snow). Dude showed up on time, found our B&B, and delivered cheerfully like a pro. I tipped him extra but a driver like that probably does it for the glory, and not the stacks-on-stacks-on-stacks, how badass he was. Third, the food was actually pretty damn tasty. They put on extra sauce, the pizza was freshly made, and the mushrooms were the right texture and flavor. You could tell it was just made and rightly done. So BAM, Papa J is mic-dropping. I haven't ordered from you since college, but when the chips are down and the snow is heavy, it's good to know you folks roll deep in the Berkshires. Don't you take no flak from them other restaurants. We know who has our back.
