2nd attempt at this place after first attempt and slow service. Ordered the soup of the day and chicken wings. After 45 min of waiting for the chicken wings, I asked to cancel the order. Instead of canceling the order, they made me wait another 15 min to get them to go. And there was not even the slightest hint of "hey, we're sorry we wasted your time". Nope, no shame in the game. Slow service and charging for fountain soda refills - I hate being nickeled and dimed. Very disappointed with the experience and how deceiving the practice if charging for refill's was. Was here at an extremely busy hour for a late dinner. Was seated immediately outside. We ordered the fried mozzarella to start and the roasted garlic pizza (large) to share. The fried mozzarella was good and the sauce went well with it. The pizza lacked a great amount of flavor and the crust was okay, however, it had a great amount of garlic which was the best part. Called for takeout on a Sunday- food was ready on time and was great. Southwest turkey wrap was large and delicious- homemade chips on the side were crunchy and not greasy. Grilled chicken club was cooked to perfection with fresh tomato's and a toasted bun. Nothing was soggy by the time we brought the food home. Can't wait to try the pizza! read more

We visit the Berkshires about once a month to see an elderly relative, and the RG is an absolute must for us. I love the "Verdue" pizza (veggie with pesto) and my husband likes the "Bronx Bomber" (sausage & pepperoni). He needs a gluten-free crust and theirs are good. Staff are always nice, too. read more

Came in here today while on a mini vacation up in Berkshires. It's hit or miss up here on Mondays and Tuesdays because some places are open and some aren't! Pretty busy lunch crowd for Noon-ish. We got a trio of Smashburgers and they were delicious. Jack Abbey's Octoberfest lager on tap super cold! The French fries and homemade potato chips are on the spot! You definitely won't have enough of either! Didn't order a pizza but as we were sitting at the bar we saw them coming out of the pizza oven and they looked outstanding ! A fun place to visit (they have a model train that runs around an overhead track) with great food. We stopped for lunch and while it was a bit busy we didn't feel it was too loud or crowded. We got some calamari for an appetizer and it was good and I had the southwest turkey wrap and it was very well done. They had plenty of nice choices on the menu so when we are back in the area it's worth stopping there again to try some other meals. read more

Stopped in on a Saturday night while passing through & was pleased that we did. We were immediately greeted by a hostess/waitress but chose seats at the bar. Bartender was very attentive & friendly. We grabbed some local beers & ordered their pizza and wings while chatting with the friendly locals about the history of the town. Wings were Asian flavored with homemade ranch & blue cheese. Pizza was the chicken bacon ranch. Both were top notch & phenomenal. We sadly didn't take any pictures. We'll definitely be back again. Kudos to the evening bartender on 3/15/25. read more

Found a small local place that's open on a Monday! Staff is very friendly, and pizza was great. Place is on the small side but that added to the hometown/local atmosphere. Large menu with lots of different things to try. Will definitely return if I'm in the area again. read more

Was super happy to see that this local restaurant location was still serving in the 8p hour. Since we are still in a COVID setting majority of seating is socially distant outdoors and that's ok, because at least they are surviving and open to dine. I opted for the Black Bean Burger w/Arugula, Roasted Garlic Mayo & Sweet Potato Fries. Super light and fresh burger not overly worked. Simple Black Bean with rice combo type patty, a topped with crisp Arugula. The bun was soft and buttery with the roasted garlic mayo. So tasty easy to take down every bite without feeling overly full. I opted for the sweet potato fries on the side, yes a slight up charge but worth it. Would totally go back and try more of their menu when in the area. read more

First was the lack of service, no reservations, called in advance to see if we could be put on a waiting list, but were told "no", since we were five minutes away I asked how long was the wait & was told "10-15 minutes", but we had to wait over a half hour since then was a party of nine ahead of us & they only had high, counter height chairs which I can't sit on. So bad enough to wait to be seated, but then we had to wait over 20 minutes to flag down a waitress for water (to take a pill), & then to take our beverage order. This is a consistently decent place. I live locally and I have been here a handful of times. I have never been overly impressed but I've also never found it overly problematic or bad. The food is decent and the staff is reasonably friendly. It is very loud inside. I have not had the opportunity to eat outside but it looks nice. It's a solid choice for decent food. Unfortunately I don't live close so I can't come back often-but the namesake of this restaurant-the roasted garlic that you spread on Italian bread with tomatoes is absolutely fabulous! I had the salad with goat cheese as well and that was also very good. My entree was lasagna-it was just ok. The atmosphere is loud-and there are not many tables that don't have the high chairs-I can't sit on high chairs-so we were stuck sitting at one of the few tables for two by the front door. We were constantly getting cold air thrust at us every time someone opened the door which was quite uncomfortable. Service was very good-no complaints. If you are looking to get sick from Covid-19, this is the place for you! I went in yesterday to pick up some take out. Half of the staff was not wearing masks. The guy bringing out cups and plates had it pulled all the way down, the two guys making pizza had theirs pulled down, I watched as the wait staff pulled theirs off to rub their faces with their bare hands then went to pick up drinks and food, and they weren't requiring people waiting for their take out orders to have a mask on. I watched one waitress go over to a man who was waiting, neither had masks. She handed him a pen, took it back, and then gave it to another customer. Oh also, my pizza hadn't even been started 90 minutes after we placed our order (they told us 45 minutes). read more
