Amazing food, reasonably priced. Loved it. The Japanese sweet potato was so flavorful and very well done.

Best food in the Berkshires, hands down. Heirloom Lodge and Prairie Whale are a distant 2nd and 3rd

Such a great vegetarian restaurant! Special dishes and drinks(non alcoholic) and self service is easy and fun. I recommend it highly

I had the special , a brisket in a ciabatta with toppings was melt in your mouth great , as was my wife's fried chicken , macaroni salad and corn bread . Ruth, our waitress , was very attentive to every need , friendly and cheerful despite being super busy, otherwise. The coup da grace was the desert a ice cream espresso and pumpkin biscotti.... It topped off a delectable meal and night. Kudos to the chef and staff for making our anniversary celebration extra special

We arrived for our reservation and were offered a very small two-top. Because we were dining with our dog, we politely asked if it would be possible to wait for a larger table where she would not be in the way of other guests or staff. We were not demanding a different table -- we were told it would take approximately 30 minutes for another table in a different section to become available, and we happily said we were willing to wait. We sat quietly outside with our dog while waiting. The owner then approached us and told us that waiting for another table would interfere with future seating. We were surprised by this, as we had simply accepted the wait time that was provided to us and had not caused any disruption. The interaction escalated when the owner used profanity toward my husband and threw the water bowl that had been provided for our dog in our direction. We were shocked by the hostility and left without eating. We completely understand that restaurants have to manage reservations and seating, and we would have accepted being told that our request could not be accommodated. What was unacceptable was the way we were spoken to and treated by the owner. We came here excited to spend our money at this restaurant as part of our trip, but we are grateful that Great Barrington has many other excellent establishments where we were welcomed and happy to spend our money instead. Unfortunately, this experience was the opposite of the hospitality we expected.

If you have or were to have a Lebanese grandmother, this is the kind of home cooking that stirs fond memories of those cherished bygone visits to grandma's house for one of her sumptuous homemade meals. Naji's menu is perfect, not so many items that you'll get lost but a perfect sampling of all the major categories plus some. Given a week's notice, they can accommodate just about any special requests you might have. If you like Mediterranean cuisine this is a don't miss experience in Lebanese dining, one that will leave a lasting impression. No one checked on us after our food arrived. My fork was cleared with the appetizer plate and never replaced, so I eventually took utensils from an empty nearby table. My seafood pasta also came with shellfish, but no dish was provided for the shells. No one checked on us until we almost finished our mains. Food: The lemon drop martini was okay but not as good as others we've had. The char-grilled octopus was tasty, but the Mykonos seafood pasta was bland. Hubby enjoyed his Keftedes and burger, although his burger arrived with a bun despite requesting it without one. The salad that came with it was delicious -- I actually enjoyed it more than my pasta! Overall: A warm welcome and some good dishes, but the bland pasta and inattentive service made this a mixed experience.

They were really quiet when we went so there wasn't much atmosphere to mention, but the decor was typical for a Mediterranean Restaurant, which is fun and enjoyable. We tried their Grilled Loukaniko as an appetizer, which we hadn't had before and enjoyed it a lot more than expected. Wish we hadn't eaten all the pita they gave us so quickly as it would have been even more delicious together. I had my usual, a Traditional Gyro with a Greek Salad on the side, a perfect choice. The salad was the best I have ever had. One of my sons had the Berkshire Club, which he was very happy with. He could only eat half so we took the other half with us, and it was still good as a shared breakfast the next morning. My other son had a Salmon Burger and a Greek Salad, which he ate all of. We didn't have enough room for dessert at the restaurant, but we had to try their traditional Baklava, so we ordered a piece to-go to share. It met all expectations. The service was satisfactory, nothing memorable, but pleasant. We had no complaints and would love to go back again.
