Wonderful breakfast! We both enjoyed omelettes, offering fresh veggies and I enjoyed mine with polish sausage- super delicious. We would certainly recommend to anyone traveling in the area. Quick stop off route 90. Worth the stop. read more

Stopped for a quick lunch on our way East. Chose it from Yelp recommendations. Quick and fresh! Hubby had French Dip. Said it was the best he ever had. I had the Chicken Teriyaki sandwich. Excellent! Wait staff was great too! read more

The decor and house is lovely and you expect this place to be a nice breakfast spot. Unfortunately the menu is very unimaginative and the food below average. You would be better off eating in a diner. No eggs Benedict, no waffles just a very boring menu. I ordered blue berry pancakes and they came out raw in the middle. My friend's over easy eggs with home fries were over cooked. The waitress was wonderful so I give the place two stars. You can find much better breakfast places in the Bershires! To their credit they fixed my pancakes and comped my breakfast, so at least they try. read more

Standard cafe lunch fare done right. Great sandwiches and soup with table service. Great fries and onion rings. Delicious cole slaw. Right off the turnpike makes it a convenient lunch stop each trip. read more

Went in for breakfast Sunday morning around 11:30 was told sorry they were starting lunch soon. Well we were looking for breakfast as there site says. Treated rudly and curtly. Extremely disappointed to poll read more

We stopped in for a late lunch on a busy Sunday and were pleasantly surprised that we were seated with water and a menu immediately. The place is quaint and a little dated but I like the old fashioned feel and was impressed with the beautifully kept flower boxes on all the windows and the friendly waitresses. Our sandwiches took a little time but were worth the wait. I had a fresh veggie and avocado sandwich and my DC had the Italian. We actually ate the fries, they were so good and thought the bread was one of the best we have had out here. Looking forward to trying breakfast as other customers were raving about their food. The only drawback is that the kitchen staff leaves at 2 sharp and one table was unhappy with something but the waitress told them it was too late for any substitutions or redo to their food.. read more

Definitely a 4 star breakfast place. Generous portions. Reasonable price. Their home fries are delicious kind of like a mix between fries and homemade potato chips. read more

We have vacationed in the Berkshires three separate times. Once in the summer, and twice in the fall. After our first visit to Roses, we have made it a point to eat breakfast there at least once during every stay. I highly recommend the blueberry pancakes! read more

Breakfast was delicious and the service was excellent!!! The portions were generous. The omelets were full and filled with spinach amd mushrooms. Great flavor on the hash browns! This was our second time eating breakfast here and we look forward to the next visit! read more

Roses Restaurant - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Lee, Massachusetts

Not impressed. When I arrived a I was told they were serving lunch only. Ordered a fish and chips and my wife ordered a ham sandwich. My onion rings were cold and her coffee had something in the bottom of it. I'd say to look elsewhere. read more

I went to Roses for breakfast and it was just solid, simple food. Not that great but not bad. If you are looking for a quick breakfast just off the highway go check it out. read more

First time- ever eating here... met our daughter from NY... perfect middle ground... staff was very welcoming... food (breakfast) was great, large servings, never had an empty coffee cup!! Will definitely be back! read more

This place is a must if you are wanting an awesome tasting breakfast with quality and quantity for the price and served with such a friendly smile. The ladies at Roses are amazing. This food is unbelievably good. We highly recommend Roses if you are traveling through. read more

We stopped in on Sat. 11/17/18 and it's a good place to eat if you want to take a nap. This was our second time here and it took over an hour both times to receive our order. Service was bad, asked for water with lemon, got the water but no lemon. Asked for straws which we never got. Wait staff never returned to our table to see if we needed anything or how we were doing. I guess she was too busy eating her own food at the counter. Food was just not great but OK. read more

I find this to be the go-to brunch location for family. I brought my mother here this past mother's day, and we both enjoyed it. I got the spinach and mushroom omelette with wheat toast and bacon. It was delicious and filling. I forgot what my mom ordered, but I do know she enjoyed it. The prices are good, and the waitstaff is attentive. It seems to be packed on Sundays, but always has at least one table when I show up. It's very much comfortable, despite how busy they seem to be. read more

Very happy with the food and the service was very friendly. It's as classic mom and pop type experience as you could hope for. The building is now red, so be careful when locals say the "pink house". Can't wait to come back next time I'm shopping at the Lee outlet. read more

The BLT and the rueben were amazing! Cute little mom and pop diner feel with great service!

Beautiful, cozy, country dinning area with "fab food" especially the corned beef hash! Even the lady's bathroom was sweet and spacious and could easily accommodate a wheelchair! Highly recommend this quaint eatery. read more

Met family in Lee for the weekend and stopped here first thing for brunch. Reviews and pictures looked decent, but was very deceiving. We ordered the Roses French toast, which was barely browned wonder bread for $9. Also two omelets with home fires which were more like potato chips, also over $9. Atmosphere and service were great! Food was very sub-par... read more

Very busy place. We were there for a wedding. Stayed at motel next door. Breakfast was eggs, bacon potatoes toast and overcooked. Clean - poor service - but very friendly managers. read more

Yes! A great accidental find! We were driving by on leisurely trip up to Burlington, VT. and decided to stop for breakfast because it looked so nice. The hostess and waitress were extremely pleasant; we were able to order whatever we wanted, and the waitress was all about service, making sure we got exactly what we asked for. The coffee was non stop; the omelettes we ordered were stuffed with ingredients, and really tasty. In fact I asked if the chef could come home with us! This was a great stop! When we ever go to that area again I will delay breakfast (or lunch!) and make a point of stopping here... suggest you do the same! read more

We ate breakfast at this restaurant. Service was excellent and food was delivered fast. This restaurant is in an old house. This place is quaint and has lots of character. The bread was amazing but the rest of breakfast was not worth the 40 dollars for three breakfasts. The omelettes were large but only average in taste. The homefries were sliced and baked like chips. This was only an average place. read more

Stop!! The building looks and probably tastes better than the food! Boring selection. No chorizo. Go to cakewalk, Haven or Reva. If you like canned foods and are in a rush then go here. read more

I just called to see if the restaurant was open on the holiday and the woman answered my question by saying they are open until 11am and then hung up on me without saying another word. Rude behavior that doesn't actually make me want to visit this business again. read more

I had the most unpleasant of experiences here. Me and my Fiancée were greeted rudely from the time we walked in. The hostess double duties as the server and everything else and that may have been the underlying issue "she was overly busy" and did not provide customers a warm and friendly greeting. There is a small sign that tells you to wait behind that point to be seated and we must have missed it and that really annoyed her visibly. A family had come in behind us and at that point it was too late to back up. She made it a point to pick up the sign and put it down in the middle of the entry as if to exemplify the fact that we were not following the rules. I made a comment to the effect of "I get what you are putting down and it will impact your tip". All down hill from there. We are seated and she comes over and essentially dumps coffee into our cups while turning to do something else. Coffee spill stains all over the mat. She did not even have the courtesy to explain the menu, the specials, recommendations something that any good place or sever would do. Too much to expect I guess. On a side note the silverware on the table setting was filthy. Gets worse. She then had the audacity to take the order of the people who came in behind us. Look I am not one to usually play cards, but we are both latinos and both military service members. Let's just say we were the only of both those categories in that room and I have not felt so awkward in a very long time. Still got worse. When she came over I called her out on taking their order before mine and she says "I don't have to listen to you and deal with this" and tells us to leave and threatens to call police. What a disgrace. We got up,asked another lady for the owners number, and left. We then called the local PD to advise what had happened. We are from out of town and did not want to leave under the auspices of the threat of someone calling the police on us as that lady had threatened to. All was resolved with the officer, and we left and went to a place down the road with great service and food called "Aiellos". That place was great. Would not recommend people of any mixed ethnicity or military background go to Roses. Thanks read more

My husband and i enjoyed this restaurant so much we went back two times in a row and each was wondwrful. If you love good food, very pleasant hostess and lovely servers in a clean country decor you must visit Roses Restaurant at 160 Housatonic St., Lee, Mass. They are only open for breakfast and lunch and we only had breakfast. We both had omelets which were the best we ever had. We asked for egg whites and it was no problem. The fillings were fresh and delicious. The menu has a good variety of yummy homemade food. We eyed the pancakes and the zucinni bread and all looked fantastic. The coffee was great and plenty of it. Service was terrific even when the restaurant was full. We will always make this our stop when we are in the area. read more

We stopped for lunch at Roses after some shopping at the outlets. I had the Rachel and he had the Reuben. Sandwiches were broiled, not fried in grease - no sticky fingers!! onion rings were delicious. Premises were very clean, staff was very friendly, menu was sufficient and prices were reasonable. I'll stop again :) read more

We really liked it. Ate breakfast there every morning that we were at the motel next door. The presentation was great. Loved those omelets and potatoes. The whole wheat toast was big and fluffy. Will be going back in July when I go to Tanglewood. The waitstaff was very nice. Can't imagine anyone having complaints. My boyfriend had blueberry pancakes. Normally I don't eat pancakes. I took a taste. They were wonderful. read more

Had lunch here, then came back a few days later for breakfast. A word of caution, unless you haven't eaten for a few days, order the short stack of pancakes. The full stack is 3 pancakes, the size of a dinner plate! And fluffy too, not the thin version. Very pleased with both good and service. read more

We stopped at Roses after a day of shopping the outlets in Lee, MA. We should have kept driving. Between the 1990's wallpaper, the chair rails installed upside down and the waitress who was pleasant enough but sounded like Selma from The Simpsons we should have known better and kept going. But maybe this would be one of those hidden gems. It wasn't. This was a greasy spoon in a lilac colored house. But not the good kind. A very basic menu left few options for lunch. Reubens, French Dips, BLTs, but no club sandwich. I went for the daily "special", a pastrami Reuben and fries. My husband went for a French Dip and onion rings. I'm not sure if it was the lighting, but my fries had a grayish tint. I will say that the Reuben was not a greasy mess which can happen with grilled bread. It was ok. More sauerkraut than meat, but tasty enough. The fries were the coated kind - like Burger King's. The French Dip didn't fare as well. Tough, sinewy, thick cut pieces of meat that were difficult to chew. One bite and I knew it was over. My husband didn't admit it until the second bite. "I can't do it" was all he said to me and I knew. I knew we would never go back to Roses. Thank goodness McDonalds was right across the street. It may be good for breakfast but I highly recommend skipping lunch here. read more

Great local restaurant with very good food and friendly servers. Much much better than the i90 plazas.

My family arrived just before they changed over from breakfast. Very cozy and inviting atmosphere. We were seated immediately our drink orders were taken then. Service was Prompt and attentive. Delicious sausage & cheese omelette w home fries, breakfast burrito was perfectly done and the french toast was like "moms." We love bacon so we ordered a side fried extra crispy, which it was. Side note: After being out on a fishing expedition, my sons sugar dropped and he was in need of something quick...our server was very accommodating in going off menu with a bagel w cream cheese and chocolate chips in a jiffy too, which she has no idea how much she helped there!! Definitely going back when we're in town next. read more

Yum! Perfect place for breakfast or brunch... So easy to get too right off the mass pike

Went for breakfast today. Aside from one person at a counter, we were the only customers. Waitress was RUDE! Never greeted us with good morning, never even said "please follow me" just walked over to a table, put menus down and said "coffee?" The entire time she was talking to a co- worker and looking away. The eggs were ok. Pancakes very good. But I would never recommend or go back here because of the service. I do know all about her problems though after listening to her discuss them with the other staff! She Never once asked us how our meal was. It was clear we were a bother to her. read more

Stopped off Mass pike on the way to upstate NY. They serve breakfast and lunch. We just missed breakfast but what I saw coming out of the kitchen looked delish! We both had the ham stack sandwich, fresh carved ham between two slabs of grilled bread topped with a special house mayo. It was devine and it was accompanyed witha home made coleslaw with a unique dressing, not drippy or overly done with mayo. Prices were modest! read more

This place is a solid choice for a quick lunch. We stopped by on a whim as the place we were heading for was actually closed. This turned out to be a fine second choice though. We got a Reuben sandwich with sweet potato fries and a grilled chicken sandwich. Both were fine and tasty. The waitress was very nice, and this place looks like you're eating inside of Grandma's house but it served it's purpose: a tasty meal and a quick lunch (we were in and out in less than 45 mins)! read more

I have been here with my husband and with friends and have NOT been disappointed at any time! Great breakfast spot. One of the best in the area. Service was pleasant and prompt. I would definitely return.

Stopped here on the way to Boston...nice little quaint place, decorated like grandma's house. My husband and I had the chicken teriyaki sandwich and chef salad...both very good. 7 and 9 year old had chicken fingers, voted 2 thumbs up by both of them. Nothing fancy but quite tasty. read more
