    My pizza delivered

I have to say that Rosati's pizza is wonderful getting it is another problem I ordered a pizza tonight the can like the below picture Called all three stores they all went to voicemail and said their mailboxes were full Ended up spending another $60 to get the same pizza that the first one came like it was completely upside down Rosati's is a good pizza place but they don't care about customer service. They don't care about consumers and I just ended up ordering another pizza after Uber eats 29 minutes waiting on a chat person never showed up. So just order another one got it it's awesome but this should've never happened Cost me an extra 60 bucks

I recently stopped by Rosati's Pizza bc I was told by a friend that I had to try it before I leave Chicago. I decided to try their thin crust, and I've got to say--it was ok . The crust was perfectly crisp, with just the right amount of crunch in every bite without being too dry or brittle. It held up nicely under the generous layer of toppings and rich tomato sauce. But I felt there was nothing special about it. Unfortunately pizza is pizza but I was in search of a connection lol The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the pizza came out hot and ready. If you're a fan of pizza then I say give Rosati's a try who knows u might love it. But as far as for me it just wasn't it.

Pros: 1. Location is easy to find and drivers can drop you off right at the front door entrance 2. Traditional Chicago deep dish pizza experience 3. They're open after midnight 4. Conveniently priced for big portions 5. Yelp check in 20% off entire order Cons: 1. Employees are unprofessional, sloppy and unfriendly 2. The door is shut tightly. You need to pull HARD. Everyone who's new here has that problem. 3. I wasn't granted my yelp 20% check-in discount because the manager wasn't there and staff isn't trained to work the cashier I'd go somewhere else unless it's late and nothing is open anymore

The lady on the register was very rude when we went to get a pizza over there. Got the pizza all burnt on the bottom so taste gross.

Rosati's Pizza on Wells is fine. It's decent pizza and it's pretty cheap for a big slice. It's very dim inside but thats partially because it doesn't get a lot of natural light due to Wells having the El overtop it. It's never super crowded either so it can make a for quick lunch stop.

Lukewarm pizza. They forgot to add the pepperoni. Taste like upgraded frozen pizza.

Order pizza after a night of bar hopping. It was late night so our options were limited. We ordered delivery from Rosati's because it was a few blocks away from our hotel. Customer service was sub par. Dude was half asleep on the phone and was rushing me off the phone. We placed an order for a medium tavern style pizza (thin crust). Pepperoni & Sausage... with some red pepper flakes and parm cheese on the side. I was told it would take about 45 minutes. Waited more than an hour for my pizza. Finally it arrived. It was lukewarm and missing my pepperoni. They also forgot to give the red chili flakes and parm cheese on the side. The pizza was not good. It tasted like a frozen pizza from the supermarket but slightly upgraded. Super disappointed. I will not be ordering from this place ever again.

Crust a bit biscuit dough like but works. We tries cheese, sausage and pepperoni slice. Not New York but you can't beat the pride compared to surrounding area. Service was polite, quick and clean.

Overall will give a 3 because I see this place has a lot of potential. Deep dish pizza, pastas, sandwiches, etc and open late until 4am -- thats amazing!! However, I did order my pizza at 12:38AM and didnt receive it until 2:45AM. Est wait time was 45 mins. Its Lolla season right now so perhaps everyone is ordering from them so they got a little backed up. I get it, but still waited 2 hours without updates. The pizza itself was good, it wouldve been better warm/fresher. It arrived cold :( still enjoyed though! My first deep dish experience.

Thick spongey dry dough with no flavor. Just think of Little Cesars but worse.
    Mike L.

Note to self; NEVER return. Here is what I got for $6.78 A very dry thick, spongy flavorless crappy slice of pizza that is not even close to Rosati's in Oak Park or River Grove. There is nothing worse than a crappy thick spongy doughy pizza slice that resembles pizza that would be delivered to your hotel room in Nebraska or Iowa. The picture I took actually makes it appear as though it's not that bad, but it is that bad. The sauce was crappy The slice was cold The cheese sucked The flavor sucked because the sauce sucked The parking sucks because it's in an area that is metered only and loaded with parking Nazi's. And to to top it off, they do NOT accept cash. They should have a sign outside that is LARGER than the Rosati's name outside that says; WE DO NOT ACCEPT CASH. But they don't. They have a small 8 1/2" x 11" sign that is on the door when you walk in. It looks like menu, so I'm confident I am not the only person who MISSED THE NO CASH that's in MAYBE a 14 point font! And why bother taking cash anyway, this is only the United States of America. Since they don't accept cash, they should offer customers a DISCOUNT because most businesses complain that when customers use credit or debit cards, it costs the merchant more money! But it doesn't matter, because I will never return.

Before I tell you about this visit, I have to tell you about the first time I came here. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love wings. I've tried them all over the country, from California to New York, so whenever I hear about a place that's supposed to be special, I have to see for myself. About two years ago, a few friends and I were staying downtown for the weekend before an event. We were driving around trying to decide where to eat, and like most friend groups, nobody could agree. I looked over at my buddy, who had been telling me about Output Lounge ever since he first tried it, and said, "Why don't we just get wings?" As luck would have it, we were only five minutes away. That decision turned into one of the best wing experiences I've ever had. Ever since then, my friend and I had been trying to make it back. We even made the trip once but got there after the kitchen had already closed. That only made finally returning feel even more rewarding. This time, we planned it right. We drove into the city on a Sunday and were lucky enough to be seated right away. Looking around, almost every table had baskets of wings. I remembered waiting the first time I came, but honestly that only spoke to how popular this place is. The wings took about 15 to 20 minutes to come out, but I honestly didn't mind. It never felt like waiting because my buddy and I spent the time catching up and talking about our upcoming trip to Japan and Korea. Since neither of us gets here very often, we both ordered twenty wings. When they arrived, you could immediately tell they had just come out of the fryer. Steam was still rising, every wing was evenly coated in sauce, and they looked exactly how wings should. I ordered mild, lemon pepper, Jim Beam Honey BBQ, and spicy BBQ. Mild has always been my go-to because I think it tells you everything you need to know about a wing. Output absolutely nailed it. Every bite starts with a satisfying crunch before giving way to tender, juicy chicken. The meat is cooked perfectly without becoming dry or overdone. Then the sauce takes over. Rich, buttery, tangy, and balanced with just enough heat. Every nook and cranny was coated, yet the wings stayed crispy from the first bite to the last. As I sat there eating them, I couldn't help but think back to my first visit. The exact same thing happened then. The first few bites made everything else disappear. Conversation stopped. For a moment, it was just me and the wings. That's when I realized I hadn't built this place up in my head over the last two years. Sometimes you remember a restaurant being better than it actually was because you've hyped it up in your own mind. Not here. If anything, these wings were even better than I remembered. The Jim Beam Honey BBQ and spicy BBQ were outstanding in different ways. The Jim Beam starts with a subtle sweetness before finishing with a smoky bourbon flavor, while the spicy BBQ slowly builds heat without overpowering the barbecue underneath. Both sauces complemented the chicken instead of masking it. Then there was the lemon pepper. I don't order lemon pepper very often because most places either don't offer it or overdo the seasoning. Output might have the best lemon pepper wing I've ever had. You get the crispy, juicy chicken first, then the citrus and cracked pepper slowly build without overpowering the wing. As I got down to my last few wings, I found myself slowing down because I didn't want the meal to end. That's usually how I know I've found something special. After trying wings all over the country, Output Lounge still sits near the very top of my list. Are they the best wings in Illinois? They have a legitimate argument. Are they among the best in the country? I think they've earned a seat at that table. The best part is that after two years, they weren't just as good as I remembered. They were even better. The fries were tasty and had flakey salt, but weren't well done at all. The honey mustard they came with was tasty. The tenders were barely edible. Chicken was very rubbery and stringy. Should've gotten boneless wings. The sauces, however, were saving graces. I asked for the hot habanero lemon pepper and the hot Chipotle ranch. Both sauces were very tasty. The hot Chipotle ranch wasn't hot at all, but had a really nice flavor. The hot habanero lemon pepper was amazing! Had a kick and the flavor was fantastic. Probably one of my favorite wing sauces to date. This was the highlight of my meal! I'll be back for this sauce and this sauce alone. Ambiance wise, it's a standard sports bar, but a big negative was all the gnats everywhere around the bar.

It was a beautiful afternoon after the previous day of clouds and rain, so the streets and restaurant were hopping. I feel we experienced good service for how busy the place was and we didn't have to wait very long for our food. There was never an empty table the entire time we were there and everyone from the bartenders, waitstaff and runners seemed to keep up and communicated well with diners. My party of four visited for Sunday brunch, and the restaurant was basically empty when we arrived. The escalator also wasn't working, which wasn't the best first impression. We ordered fried wings, rib tips, and drinks, but our food didn't come out together. For a table of four, it's disappointing when everyone isn't served at the same time. The biggest disappointment was the lemon drop martinis. After one sip, they were far too tart and overly citrusy for our taste. The glasses were still nearly full, so we politely asked if they could be remade or exchanged for a different cocktail. We were told that all alcohol sales are final. While I understand restaurants have policies, I was surprised there wasn't any willingness to accommodate us, especially since we had barely touched the drinks and simply wanted a different cocktail. As for the food, the fried wings lacked seasoning, and the rib tips were rubbery and didn't have much flavor. Being from Texas, I enjoy BBQ where the meat stands on its own, so I asked for the BBQ sauce on the side. Unfortunately, even with the sauce, the rib tips didn't have the quality or flavor I was expecting. The staff was polite, but the food quality, drink experience, and overall execution didn't live up to the reputation I was hoping for. I hope management takes this feedback as an opportunity to improve because the restaurant has potential.

The wings came out pretty quickly, the honey barbecue wings were really sweet, and came with a substantial amount of sauce. The ranch was impeccable. It was not too thin and came with celery.
