As a disclaimer, I feel that this type of pizza and deep dish are in totally separate categories. It's like apples and oranges - the two cannot be compared. With that said, the pizza here was one of the best slices I've had in well over a year. It was perfect; I have no notes, and I would happily order again. I decided to go simple this time with a slice of Margherita pizza. All around perfection! The crust was thin and very crispy without feeling like a tortilla chip. The cheese and the tomato were bold, flavorful, and fresh. The top contained fresh, hand-torn basil for maximum aroma, and a drizzle of oil. It was hot, and it was delicious! The cost of about five bucks a slice is pretty reasonable too, considering how expensive everything else is. The service was very polite too! Final verdict: I can remember the first time I had a slice from Regina Pizzeria in Massachusetts. That first-bite feeling...Mmm! The same thing happened here, something that is, believe it or not, quite rare with me.

I am an NY-style pizza addict and have tried it all in Chicago; there are *maybe* three places in this city that I would put into the top tier for NY-style, and Pizza Dada is one of them. Visually it's stunning - exactly what you imagine an NY slice should look like when you close your eyes. Thin, equal parts crisp and chew, maillard perfection on top and beautiful leopard spotting underneath. And the taste matches the visual - the instant I took that first bite, I tasted New York. If you're after an excellent NY slice in Chicago, Pizza Dada belongs at the top of the list.

Amazing Loop spot with NY style slice that is supreme. It's located in the Sterling (fka National) Food Hall. The Sterling website is not tied to their website as of this post but you can order from them directly via their website but going in person is the move. I had the Vodkaroni and Caesar Salad Slice (which is salad on a cheese/sesame crust). AND THAT CRUST! Perfect golden crust and the sesame adds an interesting texture. Don't sleep on Pizza Dada.

The cheese slice was to die for: crispy undercarriage, gooey cheese. Easy side trip for true NY style pizza

The Vodka Roni Pie is insane. Nice touch on the sesame crust as well. The pizza gets pretty close to NYC style.

Seriously fun and delicious NY style slices. Vodka-Roni is amazing! Last stall away from the street. Totally worth a visit.

This was my very first Chicago deep-dish pizza experience, and now I understand why everyone talks about it. The buttery crust, layers of cheese, flavorful sauce, and generous toppings made every bite worth the wait. One thing I would definitely recommend is making a reservation if you can. This place is popular for a reason! We waited a little over 35 minutes for a table, but luckily a couple of spots opened up at the bar, and we grabbed them right away. The atmosphere was lively, the staff was friendly, and the pizza was everything I hoped it would be.

To start…read moreoff our server, Eli was so nice so knowledgeable helping us run through the menu He took incredible care of us throughout the night! That's at the tone for what became unforgettable night. Had the space debri salad which is basically a Greek salad with potatoes and I think in Italian vinaigrette Soooooooooooo for it!!! So delicious After getting it, my buddy had to get one too haha One of us had the moonwalk cheese, we go out for a lot of pizza together, and he said it was he thought his favorite of anywhere. Another one of our crew got the pepperoni pile up loved. And I got the sweet and salty space candy pizza With bacon, pineapple, pickled red onion, goat cheese, sambal. Genius, the goat cheese, instead of ricotta was the move for this pizza! All the flavors worked in perfect harmony.Nothing short of amazing. Cozy spot, super cool atmosphere, couple of old school arcade games like ninja Turtles let's goooo We had so much fun. The drinks were absolutely excellent as well. Oh my God cannot forget this drink program. Galactic gift basket and Jedi mind trick sooo fire. Speaking of perfect harmony, everything at sharpies coexist in a lovely harmony from the all the staff, to the vibe/ambiance and absolutely killer pizza and food. WILL BE BACK! Check em out! For food - we ordered the blooming onion (forget what they call it), the wings, and two pizzas. My husband tried a gin cocktail and beer, both which he enjoyed. Onion 4/5 - tasty and good dipping sauce Wings 5/5 - crispiest wing I have ever had and they might be my favorite in Chicago... hot honey was delicious. Carmalized onion 3.5/5 - this was very tasty, perfect crispy edges and fluffy center. The flavor was good but could have used some acid to break up the richness Vodka meat pizza 4/5 - very tasty. I think the vodka sauce could be fine tuned but overall really enjoyed. We had pizza a lot lately so skipped the classics but if we come back I'd probably try the pepperoni and/or sausage.
