    Side salad
    Sonya M.

I stopped in one afternoon for lunch to pick up a slice of pizza and a side salad. There were a few people dining in, but there was no one in line, so I walked right up to the counter. The young lady at the counter wasn't the friendliest person I've ever encountered, but she wasn't rude or disrespectful either. She warmed up my pepperoni slice and told me there'd be a short wait for the salad. I waited 3-5 minutes for the salad, which apparently wasn't premade. The pizza slice is generous and was tasty. It's not the best pizza I've ever had, but it was decent. I had to dab it with a napkin before eating it though because it was greasy. I think I used at least five napkins while eating it because of the grease left on my fingers. The side salad was the perfect size. It was mostly lettuce, which I expected, but there were also red onions, asiago cheese, tomatoes, and cucumbers. I had the balsamic vinaigrette dressing, which was light and refreshing. The restaurant is small, but it was clean, quiet, and comfortable. If you wanted to dine in or enjoy a working lunch there you could do it. The pizza, salad, and Pepsi cost about $15. The food was okay for a quick lunch, but I probably won't visit Rosati's again anytime soon.

I recently stopped by Rosati's Pizza bc I was told by a friend that I had to try it before I leave Chicago. I decided to try their thin crust, and I've got to say--it was ok . The crust was perfectly crisp, with just the right amount of crunch in every bite without being too dry or brittle. It held up nicely under the generous layer of toppings and rich tomato sauce. But I felt there was nothing special about it. Unfortunately pizza is pizza but I was in search of a connection lol The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the pizza came out hot and ready. If you're a fan of pizza then I say give Rosati's a try who knows u might love it. But as far as for me it just wasn't it.

Pros: 1. Location is easy to find and drivers can drop you off right at the front door entrance 2. Traditional Chicago deep dish pizza experience 3. They're open after midnight 4. Conveniently priced for big portions 5. Yelp check in 20% off entire order Cons: 1. Employees are unprofessional, sloppy and unfriendly 2. The door is shut tightly. You need to pull HARD. Everyone who's new here has that problem. 3. I wasn't granted my yelp 20% check-in discount because the manager wasn't there and staff isn't trained to work the cashier I'd go somewhere else unless it's late and nothing is open anymore

The lady on the register was very rude when we went to get a pizza over there. Got the pizza all burnt on the bottom so taste gross.

Rosati's Pizza on Wells is fine. It's decent pizza and it's pretty cheap for a big slice. It's very dim inside but thats partially because it doesn't get a lot of natural light due to Wells having the El overtop it. It's never super crowded either so it can make a for quick lunch stop.

Wings were bland and fries were not what was on the website would probably not buy again

Lukewarm pizza. They forgot to add the pepperoni. Taste like upgraded frozen pizza.

Order pizza after a night of bar hopping. It was late night so our options were limited. We ordered delivery from Rosati's because it was a few blocks away from our hotel. Customer service was sub par. Dude was half asleep on the phone and was rushing me off the phone. We placed an order for a medium tavern style pizza (thin crust). Pepperoni & Sausage... with some red pepper flakes and parm cheese on the side. I was told it would take about 45 minutes. Waited more than an hour for my pizza. Finally it arrived. It was lukewarm and missing my pepperoni. They also forgot to give the red chili flakes and parm cheese on the side. The pizza was not good. It tasted like a frozen pizza from the supermarket but slightly upgraded. Super disappointed. I will not be ordering from this place ever again.

Crust a bit biscuit dough like but works. We tries cheese, sausage and pepperoni slice. Not New York but you can't beat the pride compared to surrounding area. Service was polite, quick and clean.

This is what you get when you order from Rosati's. Cold pizza that looks like the staff was playing softball with it. Enjoy.

Horrible experience. We ordered a pizza and when we opened the box it looked like someone had shaken the box, tipped it sideways, turned it upside down, thrown it on the ground and stepped on it. We called immediately to complain and were told that it's not their problem, tough luck. The staff was rude, and we actually wanted to order somewhere else that has much better pizza but we accidentally contacted this place. Will never order from this place again. Here's a picture of the piece of shit pizza that arrived from this piece of shit "restaurant".

Overall will give a 3 because I see this place has a lot of potential. Deep dish pizza, pastas, sandwiches, etc and open late until 4am -- thats amazing!! However, I did order my pizza at 12:38AM and didnt receive it until 2:45AM. Est wait time was 45 mins. Its Lolla season right now so perhaps everyone is ordering from them so they got a little backed up. I get it, but still waited 2 hours without updates. The pizza itself was good, it wouldve been better warm/fresher. It arrived cold :( still enjoyed though! My first deep dish experience.

Disappointing delivery experience. The pizza filling was not as deep as advertised & the crust was burnt on the top. We also ordered Italian sausage & they didn't include it. Otherwise it tasted good & had fresh ingredients.

Thick spongey dry dough with no flavor. Just think of Little Cesars but worse.

Up until tonight, my experiences had always been positive and the food was fantastic. Unfortunately, this visit was more than disappointing. I ordered a salad I've had at least a dozen times before, accept I added grilled chicken on top. I live for this salad and was just there maybe three weeks ago. Unaware that they have changed their menu, I ordered as usual. The name of the salad has not changed on the menu, but apparently the ingredients had been completely altered. When the dish arrived, to my surprise, it was drastically different and not something I enjoyed at all. I politely informed our server, who was kind and accommodating, and offered to replace the dish. However, it was now 6 p.m. we had tickets to see The Wiz at 7 p.m. and didn't have time to wait for another order, which I also informed her. I asked if the salad could be removed from the bill since it was essentially untouched. The server checked with the owner, who refused to remove the $30 salad or offer any kind of discount. When a restaurant changes a dish but keeps the same name, it creates a reasonable expectation for returning customers. When that expectation isn't met, basic customer service should step in. What makes this even more frustrating is that the restaurant was willing to prepare an entirely new dish, but not willing to remove the uneaten one from the bill. That simply isn't logical. If you're prepared to replace an item, it clearly acknowledges there was an issue, so refusing to comp or adjust the original charge is unreasonable. That decision was extremely disappointing. I, in-turn made the decision to eat only the additional grilled chicken on top, leaving the rest of the salad, paying the full bill and promptly getting out of there so we could be on time for our show. The only positive part of the experience was our server, who handled the situation with professionalism and kindness. Sadly, the new menu leaves much to be desired and this experience has cost Peanut Park my business and my referrals going forward.

Reservations are released 21 days ahead of time, which I personally find impossible to make. Every time I've checked over the last several years there have been no availability. Yesterday I decided to pop on their website again and was delighted to find that they had released same day dinner reservations for patio only dining. The weather was perfect for outdoor dining so I went ahead and booked a table for Friday night. I felt like I won the dinner lottery. Service was wonderful and I didn't mind sitting outside at all next to the road with cars. I actually never stepped foot in the restaurant so cannot comment on what it's like inside. But do not give up that patio dining reservation if it's available. All of our dishes were delicious. I was really impressed by the meatball appetizers, chicken vesuvio (the potatoes are a must get as a side if you skip this dish), and branzino. The meats and sauces were wonderfully balanced and tender. Nothing tasted overly salted. Ironically, the pasta felt less of a star compared to the other dishes. And of course I had to get the gelato, which was so aesthetically presented and the taste just reminded me of an Italian summer vacation.

By the time Karen shows up again, it's me and another person waiting. Instead of asking "who was here first?" She services the white man, why would you assume he's there first?, and I have to listen to him asking if he can sit at the bar, doesn't understand why he can't sit at the bar, needs recommendations nearby where he can drink and wait at, if they'll hold his bags, and his whole life story. Located at 564 W Randolph, it's a sprawling, airy space that manages to feel intimate despite its scale. Here is the breakdown of the heavy hitters from the menu: **The Truffle Mushroom Pizza** This isn't your standard wood-fired pie. The crust strikes that elusive balance between a pillowy interior and a crisp, charred exterior. The earthiness of the mushrooms is front and center, but it's the truffle that ties it together without being overpowering. It's rich, aromatic, and deeply savory--the kind of pizza that makes you forget about pepperoni entirely. **The Ricotta Dumplings** These are, quite frankly, little clouds of heaven. While many places struggle with leaden gnocchi, Alla Vita's ricotta dumplings are impossibly light. They have a delicate, melt-in-your-mouth texture that acts as a perfect canvas for the sauce. Every bite feels indulgent yet airy; it is easily the "must-order" dish of the night. **The Tiramisu** To close out the meal, the Tiramisu is a sophisticated take on the classic. It isn't overly sweetened, allowing the bold espresso and creamy mascarpone to shine. It's structured but soft, providing a caffeinated, velvety finale that cleanses the palate without weighing you down. **The Verdict:** Alla Vita is more than just a "pretty" restaurant. The service is snappy, the atmosphere is electric, and the food--specifically the pasta program--is top-tier. Whether you're there for a celebratory dinner or a high-energy weeknight meal, it's a West Loop essential. **Pro Tip:** The restaurant fills up fast, so snag a reservation well in advance, especially if you're eyeing a weekend table.
