UPDATE*** I called today to say my refund wasn't showing up in my account. The owner answered and assured me it would take a few days. I mentioned that the cashier said we couldn't stay and eat in the eating area, and was quite rude to us. The owner was surprised to hear that. He assured me that the eating area IS open and that guy had no reason to tell us we couldn't eat there. I'm curious why he didn't want us there. Hmm, makes you wonder... The owner apologized for our experience and said he'd be happy to have me come back, and to call back in a few days if my refund didn't go through. Thank you, sir. Great service. I will be back. :) *********** [My review is only on service] My coworker and I wanted to grab lunch, to get out of our building and chat/vent for an hour. I love Rosati's by my house, so we tried this one. When we first walked up to the counter, I asked the guy (visibly uninterested in his job) if they had any thinner to-go slices (the ones behind the glass had really thick crust). He wouldn't look us in the eye and mumbled something under his mask. We asked him what he said, you know...because masks... and he looked visibly annoyed and mumbled again. Still not looking directly at us. It felt as if we were bothering him. And definitely felt we were not wanted there. I ordered a slice of the pepperoni and after I swiped my card, he said "just so you know, the eating area isn't open" in a listless manner (still no eye contact). The lack of eye contact seemed purposeful at this point. All the tables were set up with napkin boxes and the chairs weren't on top of the tables, soooo, it appeared to be open. We preferred not to bring our food back to the office (our whole purpose of eating lunch out was to get away from work), so my friend asked if he could cancel my pizza slice. He looked annoyed again and did some fumbling around with the register and said something about a refund to my card (still no eye contact). We asked for a receipt to have proof in case the refund didn't go through, and he looked annoyed once again. He printed me a receipt, but it wasn't a refund receipt, it was my purchase receipt. Oh well, it will have to do. Everything felt very uncomfortable and I felt like we were not welcome (from the minute we walked in). I don't know what was wrong with this guy. I feel bad for him and almost asked him if he was okay, but felt too uncomfortable to say anything due to his negativity towards me. ive been supporting this location for over 10 years birthday parties, new year, family gatherings all occasions, with in the last two years they had poor management I got burnt food a couple of times. I requested a refund once due to me having a party the second time I did a complaint but didn't request anything I just ask if they ca note it's cheese only please don't burn it. I received an order that was cold I spoke to a manager and she remade it I picked it up myself. i took a break after a male manager/ employee was hostile and unprofessional he got fired and was replaced I returned as a loyal customer they did not have drivers so I did a Uber eat order to remain a customer when my food arrived i was looking for a car he was on a bike holding my food like a case of book underneath his arm I didn't get a refund they sent a Driver from their store and I paid for delivery fee. I placed another order using a delivery service because they once again didn't have a driver the Uber eats driver kept my food, a woman was on the app as the driver they gave my food to a man and I got nothing. these all happened in a two year span every other order within the 2 years was fine. I placed another order for the first time maybe second time this year and they sent my order through door dash any other time they ask if it's ok to come through a delivery service I declined due to the history of delivery service drivers this time I wasnt notified until they arrived I called rosatis and told them I don't trust or want anything from delivery service my food was cold because they didnt have a food bag to keep it warm and if they would have told me I would have declined to use them ... so I instantly called and told them I didn't want the food and now I have to leave my house to go buy food and they can come get this pizza they said we do have a driver I told the young lady i don't want it I'm going to throw it away, she said I could get a refund I didn't recieve anything or I asked for another pizza with their driver, after a week of being avoided and giving the run arounds I was told the owner said I can no longer order at his restaurant I tried to explain the guy who said he was a manager said I got 4 refunds within one month which is a lie and that they refund me from last Friday which is also a lie today is 4/11/25 within 10 plus years 4 complaints and 1 refund the owner said I can no longer shop there I can be loyal but can't get a sorry let me make that better for you I never complained until it started getting ridiculous ,there is no loyalty them instead it was I don't want to argue with here we will no longer take your Order, it's disgusting and disrespectful the way establishments think they can treat patrons because they are at fault read more

The pizza here was amazing. The people, not so much. When going to the register to order it seemed as if the lady was stoned beyond belief. For a first time having deep dish pizza I must say it was delicious. But having to wait 45 mins when we were told 20 is a little ridiculous. And having the workers scream to communicate with each other is also quite insane. read more

They sent me a wrong pepperoni, olive, and etc. pizza! I called them immediately after receiving the item, a rude man answered the phone and put me on hold for 5 minutes without letting me speak! After 5 minutes, he finally answered the phone and when I told the story, he didn't know what to say and didn't know what to do! I asked him to talk to manager and he said the manager is speaking! I repeat, he was very impolite! His final answer was talk to Uber Eats (I ordered through Uber Eats) for a refund or reorder! He didn't accept their mistake! Uber Eats refunded me for the order, but the restaurant service ruined my night and left me in a shame situation in front of my guests! I have also attached the receipt of my order which was attached to the wrong pizza box! They even didn't check what they put in the box! I never recommend this restaurant to anyone! My wife and I are visiting the city for work and knew we had to try some Deep Dish while in Chicago. It was late so I decided to use Uber Eats. The pictures for Rosati's looked amazing so I placed an order. Some time went by and Uber was not updating so I called the restaurant. The person answering was super nice and told me the Deep Dish took longer but it was coming. I waited and still no update from Uber. I figured there was no driver that late and kinda gave up but then I got a phone call. The driver from Roasati'a was bringing the Pie because Uber never showed. His name was George and he brought it right to the hotel. He was super nice and gave me some tips about the city. The Pizza was AMAZING along with the Sandwich my wife ordered. I just wanted to let it be known that I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good food and nice people. We had a couple people be less than nice over the weekend but this place just saved the day. Management should be really fortunate that they have people like George. read more

Such a shame because normally rosatis is good but this location is just hot garbage. The food finally came and it's not even edible. Embarrassing. Can't believe they're serving this to people. HELL YEAH ROSATI'S!! Me and my boyfriend came into town for Lollapalooza and stayed over at the Kimpton and after walking around for hours we walked past this extremely inviting establishment. When I say we had this pizza every single night for 6 days... I really mean it. Deep dish, regular NY slice, calzone, garlic nuggets. I mean this shit is GOOD. But the BEST part was the amazing young lady working the front counter, that is one hard working sweet girl. Such a warm personality and always so bubbly and ready to help customers. Despite the INSANE line and the phones ringing offfff the hoookkk she was calm as could be and handled it so professionally and still with that mamas kitchen hospitality. I gave this place two stars due to the fact that they are open until 3:00am so if you MUST eat and there is no other place open then at least they are. The first sign that there may be something wrong was that when we picked up the food and entered the place...there was no aroma of food. That is not a good sign people. Lol. I called the restaurant to let them know what I had found & the woman that answered the phone basically said "Metal I dont know anything about metal so maybe the kitchen people would know". Im almost wondering if this establishment does not even care. I've ordered from here a few times & the woman thats there is never friendly & always has an attitude. I wont spend my money here anymore just for the simple fact that finding metal in food is unacceptable and could've been dangerous if ingested.
