I visited this place thinking it was Reggio's pizza which is an iconic black-owned pizza chain. Despite noticing my mistake I still decided to try it out. It's located inside of the bar. Reggie's pizza is tucked away in the corner. It's a really small space that I noticed everyone inside was ignoring. You can get a slice & a soda for $6.50 (prices oddly seem to vary depending ln the customer if you look through the reviews) although there's no apparent list of toppings or menu items anywhere from what I saw. I'm pretty much in agreement with the other reviewers in terms of the pizza looking better than it tastes. It's subpar at worst & ok at best. Despite it sitting on the rack then being put in the oven to be reheated...the dough was still uncooked in some areas. The cheese is perfectly browned & there's a decent amount of sausage. The sauce was lackluster. The main pro is that the slices are big although not Bacci's big. They're served like a New York slice of which the owner tries his best to convince Chicagoans to let him slice it into smaller pieces for them (must be due to past confusion or waste.) I did end up throwing the last 1/5th of pizza I had left away, but not because I was full...I just didn't feel like eating subpar pizza anymore. The whole time the bar wasn't that busy. There were a couple of guys playing eachother in darts which was somewhat entertaining since one of them was hilariously bad as well as cheating.

Short and simple review. Came in as I was in the area and wanted a slice of pizza. Got two slices and a can of soda for $7. Pizza isn't life changing, but for $7, who can complain!!? Great music is a nice bonus. Everything from "Don't Stop Believing" to "Premiscuous Girl" to "When the Levee Breaks".

Ok pizza. Not enough sauce and cheese was too chewy. If you like a log of crust this the place though.

The pizza is neither amazing nor terrible, but can't complain about a decent slice & soda for $4.50. A quick and reliable lunch go-to. It's tucked in the back of O'Niell's and there is plenty of space to eat inside. They sell a few other things besides pizza, but it doesn't look that great. One of the guys behind the counter once referred to me as "young lady" and asked if I wanted my slice cut in half (but asked no one else in line that!). I was almost a little offended, but now I always get my slices cut in half lol

This place is a gem! It's not known for deep dish pizza as people come here for but their slices of pizza does not disappoint. Pizza is hot out of the oven and pairs up nice with a pop. Definitely stopping here again!

Good pizza and hospitality.... Nice laid back a atmosphere... Recommend for a quick lunch or bite to eat... inexpensive compared to the other pizza joints downtown....Other perks include music and they sale alcohol... and have drink specials daily.

It was mid-afternoon when we visited and I'd gone online to make a reservation prior to our visit, but that wasn't really necessary. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and shown to a booth in the back room...far away from the cold draft of the front door. Our server came over to take our drink orders right away and we ordered a Caesar salad to share. I found it odd that their Caesar comes with tomatoes, but it must be a Chicago thing because I saw that on the menu of another pizzeria that we visited while in town. The salad was delicious and we enjoyed every bite of it. We also ordered a small pepperoni pie (deep dish) and were surprised at just how small it was. It was almost like a personal size...but let me tell you, the personal size is tiny! One slice of the small pie nearly took up the space of the entire personal sized pie that we took home with us. While in-store, I signed up for their rewards program and got a coupon for a free personal sized pie, with some stipulations. It was to-go only and you had to spend at least $10, but our dine-in order could not count towards that total. It had to be processed as a separate transaction. That was no problem for us since we were headed back to our hotel and had a full kitchen there, we decided to order wings along with our free baby-sized pie to-go. The wings were phenomenal. Top tier. A+. Highly recommend! I actually preferred the sausage pie that we took home over the pepperoni pie, and that's not usually my vibe. I think something about the grease in the sausage lends itself to the moisture of the pie. The pepperoni pie was a little dry. Overall, we loved the atmosphere and the service, so we would definitely come back again in the future.

The Italian beef + giardiniera half was good too, more savory and heavier, but the meat had more of a pulled texture than actual than expected. 7.5/10. The seafood skillet didn't really land for me. The second you walk in, the entire atmosphere just feels cozy, lively, welcoming, and honestly impossible to leave Between the views, the music, the energy, the smell of pizza coming out of the oven nonstop... it's genuinely one of our favorite spots in the city. We started with cocktails that were SO refreshing and perfectly made, then got surprised with burrata on the house which was such a sweet touch and absolutely incredible. Creamy, fresh, flavorful -- the kind of appetizer you immediately wish was twice the size because it disappears way too fast And then THE PIZZA. Their char pizza is seriously one of those pizzas you think about days later. Perfectly blistered crust, crispy edges, cheesy, saucy, with those little pepperoni cups that get crispy on top Every bite somehow tastes even better than the last and the crust alone deserves its own appreciation post honestly. As if we weren't already completely obsessed with the experience, they ALSO brought out flan on the house for dessert and WOW. Smooth, creamy, rich, perfectly balanced sweetness with the whipped cream and caramel... literally the perfect ending to such an amazing dinner. But honestly what keeps making us fall in love with Robert's over and over again isn't just the food -- it's the entire experience. The service is ALWAYS incredible, everyone is so welcoming and attentive, and the ambiance is truly unmatched.
