Huge fan of Stix n Brix! I've lived in the Bridgeport area for nearly 20 years, and I was so excited when they first opened. My family has been ordering pizzas, sandwiches, and salads from here all the time. My favorite pizza is definitely the hot honey one since it has a good kick of spice with a nice sweetness from the honey; additionally, it's always nice to have a wood fired pizza that tastes so fresh. My other go to item would be the chicken caesar salad; it's always packed with a ton of chicken and parmesan cheese, so I tend to get it when I'm not craving pizza. The service is always top notch, and I love how friendly they are when we eat there or just take it to-go. I love how they have weekly deals as well on their pizzas, so it's definitely work a try! The ambiance is great since there's seating indoors and outdoors; additionally, you're right next to the Sox's stadium, so you can go eat before or after the game. Had my daughter's first birthday party in the event space. We had about 40 people there, overall went really well. The space is connected to the restaurant, and is easy to decorate for whatever event you want. Large windows that can open up to the sidewalk Cafe, and a fixed service counter in the back. They provided tables, chairs, and table cloths. We handled cleanup of our decorations and food, they did the rest. Mario was excellent to work with, he suggested different options, food drink packages, and said we could bring our own food. We brought cakes, snacks, and beverages. We bough pizzas, salads, and sides, they were all great. Since we didn't order dedicated buffet, we managed the food setup ourselves. If we were to run low on food, we could order more later, nice to have that option. Service was a little inconsistent, we needed some help getting napkins, plates, and takeout boxes. I get it though, they are also running the Cafe too. My friends and family had a great time, and we got a lot of compliments about the food. This masterpiece is basically Chicago in a wood-fired oven with its tender Italian beef, spicy Caruso hot giardiniera, and that gooey cheese... The crust? Perfectly charred, chewy with just the right crunch. And that giardiniera? OH. MY. HEAT. Delicious...We have ordered here several times dined in the restaurant and also have taken out. The other day Friday night we ordered two pizzas, one beer dough, and the other one Tavern style. They both were excellent! The girl that answered the phone was amazingly!! Friendly and helpful and we were thrilled with our take up order...on time, warm and delicious . Stix n Brix was perfectly fine. We love trying new pizza spots and so this has been on our list for a while. We stopped in on a Friday night and there was plenty of seating. We ordered at the counter and picked a table. They have a pretty impressive beer and wine selection for such a small place, so that was a pleasant surprise, but the food was very average. The garlic sticks were a little grainy and the pizza was good, but not great. We will probably give Stix another try after a while, maybe we just hit a bad night. read more

Love this place. Probably the best pizza in Bridgeport. I've tried all the variations and they're all delicious. My favorite is probably the tavern style. Perfect crust and topping distribution. Great sandwiches too. Highly recommend this place. read more

We came here after a Sox game. We had tailgated before the game, so we were still kind of full from thatF but wanted a quick bite. I was surprised at how empty this place was after a game. I known everyone goes to Cork & Kerry's and Turtles, but damn. My fellow Sox fans are missing out. We ordered their Margherita pizza and their Pesto Burrata. My only regret was ordering their 10 inch instead of their larger sizes. They were both great tasting pizzas. The Margherita came with red sauce, mozzarella and basil. A very simple pizza, but explosive flavors. The crust could have been a little bit more burnt, still damn good. Their Pesto Burrata came with Pesto sauce of course, shaved Parmesan, roasted tomatoes and then topped with Burrata cheese. Another pizza with amazing flavors. What's even more incredible is the fact that you can have a decent menu, without any meat. We finished off our pizzas with a free check in offer of gelato/ice cream. They didn't have many flavors, so just ordered vanilla. I feel like this place still has great potential. I do not like to see empty restaurants. Especially in a neighborhood like this. They should really take advantage and get more involved with the White Sox & Bridgeport community. This place should be as full as the other two bars on this street. read more

I come here for my go to, and that is the Italian Panini with a side of Tomato Bisque. You can't look at this picture and tell me this doesn't look absolutely delicious. Smoothies are tasty too :) They offer a student discount with proof of ID, and the staff is kind. Very nice place to eat a meal, they also play good music. read more

The chicken Caesar salad is by far one of my absolute favorites! I wish they were open a little earlier for breakfast and stayed open a little later for dinner. Can we talk about this amazing pizza?! It was perfectly cooked crust and fresh out of the oven. It was 10 inches and the perfect meal for me. The salads also looked amazing and I wish I also ordered one to go! The restaurant set up has a section for restaurant dining and a section of seating and tables for the bar. We ate at the bar and mingled in the dining area with friends that we knew. The staff was very friendly and never rushed us. I would go back again for more pizza and salad! read more

I can't rate the food bc I didn't eat it... they advertised with buy one get one free flyers in mailboxes in the neighborhood and it states "expires 7/31" which is a Monday so we planned it all out to get pizza from them on 7/31... then turns out they are closed Mondays ! Poor planning and should've put "expires 7/30" on the flyer, right? So the whole family was excited for pizza so we got pizza elsewhere. Then called today (8/1) asking if we can use the coupon next week they said "no - we can extend to today but not next week"... we just got pizza yesterday so don't want it 2 days in a row. I was in search of a NY/NJ/CT-type slice... this ain't it. I'm true Chicago style, the sauce is overly sweet and there is way too much crust for a personal pizza of that size (Margarita). I also got a chicken bacon pizza with ranch on the side and there was *maybe* a quarter slice of bacon on the entire pizza. It was embarrassingly pathetic. The Pico pie was probably the highlight- fluffy and cheesy BUT they even messed that up and the entire top was burnt. Finally, the garlic "stix" were really nothing special. We ordered the beer dough Margherita pizza a few times via Uber Eats delivery and the pizzas were always very good. This is the first time I popped in to pick up a carry out wood fired Margherita pizza after calling in and they said it would be ready in about 10 minutes. We arrived about 10 minutes later and the pizza was ready, hot and fresh. Service was quick and friendly. We are planning on eating in next time. read more

I've been to this place a couple of times now. Well, more than that if you count just getting coffee at the place next door. They are actually the same business (or at least owned the same - whatever). Anyway, the point is that the food here is really good. The pizzas are good for one person if you are reasonably hungry, and two if you're just looking for a snack. And man, the pizzas are good. Thin crust, great quality ingredients and wood-fired to boot. The service is quick and the staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. Now, with the whole COVID-19 thing, I hope that they are doing pickups. I haven't tried it since the lockdown (I've been home and that's not close to Stix n Brix). But I love this food, so I can't wait to get back there. And places like this are desperately needed in the neighborhood! read more

The folks at Stix & Brix are so chill and the place is so welcoming. I've eaten my way through almost the entire menu and it's great (though I miss the breakfast burritos!) We had two events recently in which we needed giant Cambros of coffee with all the accoutrements. The staff was easy to work with, helped us figure out a budget, and made the events stress-free. It's hard to take a website's recommendation about a local restaurant. This one however was "spot on". The staff was incredibly friendly & helpful - I generally ask what they would order - an "Adult Grilled Cheese" panini was suggested: It was served quickly, hot, gooey & all things comforting. (My son had an Italian panin). We were even offered a free mini banana bread which my son pronounced yummy. (I don't like bananas). What a joy it was to enjoy a couple of pies made to order from a real wood fire oven. I ordered the bbq-chicken and the prosciutto and arugula. Both pies were superb and fresh. There had some hops on tap and bottles and enjoyed the porter on tap. It was perfect with the pies. The service was great and they were very attentive to assist. A friend and I were looking to try a new place for lunch and decided to pick something in Bridgeport. We decided why not pizza? Because who doesn't like pizza. This location is right in front of the white Sox stadium. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. We both got the rose cider with their limited time pear salad and one of their popular pizzas the pesto burrata. The pizza was absolutely delicious and was the perfect amount to split for 2 people. I love wood fired pizza. For dessert we got the tiramisu which was amazing and a large portion. If you get in on yelp a free dessert is given with a order of a pizza. Our server was amazing. I was not impressed by the slightest. Service just reeked of attitude and customer service truly lacked in the most obvious sense. We ordered a few pizzas, nothing to write home about, food is very subpar In chicago there are many rising, noted competitors mind you this is bridgeport area too. EDITED: We came in here on a Wednesday for lunch. It is a clean establishment and the server was kind and attentive. There were a variety of specials, including a Wednesday deal for a pizza tower (3 pizzas for $30). There is an interesting variety of pizza flavors and they were tasty. I got the fig & pig, my friend got the BBQ chicken, and we split a brownie ($7). The brownie came with three scoops of gelato and you can pick the flavor as they had a variety to choose from such as strawberry and chocolate. The brownie was good but we agreed that it tasted more like a cake. We really enjoyed the gelato and how many options there were to choose from. If you check in on Yelp, you can get a free dessert with purchase of a pizza, which was wonderful. Specials were provided on a separate sheet of paper placed in the middle of the table. The fig & pig pizza price was $13.65 and the BBQ chicken price was $11.65. Before my review edit, I misunderstood the pricing since the receipts are done differently here (see comment from the owner). I apologize to the owner for the misunderstanding and he was quick in his response, which is great and quite helpful! For people who may be confused by the receipt, they add the sales tax into the pizza prices as well as list that number lower on the receipt. Then that total is rounded, for us it was rounded up. I think the confusion came from the sales tax being included in the pizza prices, then also listed lower on the receipt as well, and having that number not add up due to the rounding. As the owner Mario states in the comments, they try to avoid pennies, nickels, and dimes. Hopefully this helps people from making the same mistake I did! I'm not sure what I originally read or saw that prompted me wanting to try this place but I wasn't impressed with the final product. You could do a lot worse but there was also not an awe inspiring pie during my visit. I will admit that their marinara sauce wasn't normal. I can't quite put my finger as to what it is about it but it just tastes like it has some tlc. We opted for a regular cheese pizza with half pepperoni as well as a Margherita pizza. The pies are personal says an allegedly are meant to feed two people but I disagree with that statement. Parking is tricky if visiting during a White Sox game but still doable especially if you head north of the restaurant. They restaurant also has a weird entrance but not impossible to find.
