Robert and his crew were awesome! I had written a previous review but have since removed it. There was a miscommunication and Robert graciously offered to do what he could to reconcile the situation, even though I had already moved. I needed a couch maneuvered into a small room, so I called him out on that favor! He came a distance, with his crew, to do that. What was taking others hours (and nothing accomplished) took his crew just a few minutes. He was friendly, kind and courteous. If I ever get new furniture or need things moved out of storage (besides regular moving), I will definitely be calling Cal Movers. The positive experience helped to make my chaotic move just a tad bit less stressful; that's what a good moving company should do (move away the stress). read more

Robert and his crew of three other men showed up at 7am - exactly on time. They were so quick - it was incredible. they moved us out of our 2/2 condo on the 2nd floor in no time, then drove the truck across SJ to our new house. We have a 2nd story loft with very unusual, custom-made stairs which couldn't be used to move furniture, so they managed to move all the stuff across the loft balcony - which was incredibly difficult. Great job!! read more

Bottom Line: Best Movers in the Bay Area. Don't even bother looking elsewhere. Rosado Movers are without a doubt the most fantastic movers you can get in the Bay Area. I've moved many times over the past several years and I've never seen movers that are this high quality. I was astounded by the exceptional level of service I received. These guys raise the bar for moving expectations. They are worth every penny and then some. If you're in need of movers or packers, you've found the best of the best. The team that did my move was phenomenal (Ravi, Brandon, and Jose). They were incredibly cheerful, efficient, professional, friendly, and experienced. It was clear that they take a lot of pride in their work and it absolutely showed in the quality of my move. These guys are truly geniuses at what they do. Robert Rosado (the owner) has built a company with top notch customer service and it's clear that he's an exemplary leader for the rest of the team. He came over to check in on things during both my moving and packing days, and then he even came back later to help with some follow up tasks. You can't ask for better customer service than this team provides. Thanks, Rosado Movers! I couldn't be happier with my move! read more

Rosado Movers were fast, efficient and professional! I wasn't even sure of the exact date we were going to move due to some pending issues on my new home but they were able to work with me and did not charge me for change of date. The owner was also present to ensure that the piano was moved with care! 5 stars for Rosado Movers!! read more

Truly an excellent experience. We reviewed quotes from a couple of places, but ultimately chose Rosado Movers because of previous Yelp reviews and the great communications from the company throughout the process. Anthony, Chemin, and Miguel arrived promptly just before 8am and got straight to wrapping, packing and loading. They gave me an estimate on number of hours they felt it would take, and they were spot on at the end of the day. Once we got to the new house, they put everything where we wanted it, and took all the stuff we had for donation off our hands, which was such a great advantage not having to do that ourselves. I have to give the guys kudos for being so hard-working and friendly too; they made the experience much less stressful! read more

I had heard about Rosado Movers from a friend a few years ago. They're rock stars at their skills, I gave my buddy their info and suggested them to help him move. Very excellent customer service and great pricing. read more

I found Rosado Movers on Yelp, after call many many movers companies anybody wants to move a 3 crystal doors fridge that weights 650 pounds. finally we found Rosado Mover my husband call and his say no problem we can do it they do the move the same day in about hour and half for a good considerable price. We had a really good experience with Robert and his helpers Foeki and Siole. thank you guys.. read more

Rosado movers did an excellent job. We had Leki, Tonga, and Pita do our move for us and they were excellent. They showed up on-time and work effectively. They were very careful to wrap all of our items and carefully moved them so that they did not get damaged. They also did a great job to make sure they kept everything clean. They met all of our expectations and I would certainly recommend using them. read more

Just moved into our new place with the help of Rosado Movers. Ciale, Paya, and Anthony helped us out today, and they did a great job. The complete move of our 1 bedroom to 2nd level 1 bedroom was completed in 4 hours. When they arrived, we had already packed the majority of our belongings into boxes. What remained was promptly packed into boxes they brought along. In addition, all the furniture was wrapped to a high standard in which I've never seen before. Every piece had ample amounts of wrapping and padding. They were sufficiently able-bodied and always 100% in control of what they were doing. At no point were we ever concerned about damage to our belongings. And they were nice! Great family business. No feeling whatsoever that anyone was unhappy to be there. Communication was thorough throughout. Given that we live in the Bay Area, we will no doubt have to move again in a somewhat near term. When that time comes, we will once again call upon the help of Rosado Movers. read more

I highly recommend these guys. We have moved three time within the Bay Area and the first two times were a nightmare for us. From things getting lost, to broken, to damaging the interiors...we had seen it all with two different moving companies. The third time around, we decided to consider yelp and saw Rosado Movers had good stars. I called the amd left a voicemail. They were prompt in returning my call. Tony asked to come and see the house to give us a quote on moving our stuff. Never before had any company done that. When Tony came to take a look at the house, he was very knowledgeable about his business and gave us a pretty good and comparable quote for moving our 3 Bed house. Although the rates were comparable with other agencies that gave us quotes, I wanted to go with Rosado because of the first impression O got if the company from Tony. I was right in my guess. Tony and his crew arrived on time annd pre informed us that they were on the way. They were so quick in loading all the stuff into their truck. His team was very efficient and they looked like they were all trained to o their jobs. Furnitire was packed up so well, I had no doubt of damages. It was such a smooth move. No stress, no arguments, no keeping a watch on them. They knew their jobs and did it so efficiently. After having two bad experiences while moving...this was over and above our expectations. Great company to trust with your belongings. They moved our house as they would move their own...with utmost care! Kudos to the team! Will bever try anyone other than Rosado for future moves. Highly highly recommend! And a big thank you to Tony and his team! :) read more

Total scam. Estimator quoted price of around $1500.00 but said he would speak to owner to confirm price and would call us back that afternoon to confirm. Never called back so we called him back that evening and he told us he had just landed in Las Vegas and forgot to call us but would in 15 minutes. Thirty minutes later estimator did call back and said price was now $4,800.00. Mind you, this is a 1800 square foot town home in San Jose. Sent message to salesperson saying how upset we were with new price and sure enough owner called back 30 minutes later stating they were short of trucks but said he would talk to owner and see what he could do. Interesting that the person we were talking to said he would talk to owner while I was holding his business card showing he was the owner. We were upset so posted negative review on Yelp and first thing next morning owner called and said they would do the move for $3,500.00 if we would remove negative review from Yelp which we did. Now the rest of the story, talked to a neighbor that just moved in next door and she said how pleased she was with the company that handled her move. We called them and they were awesome, total bill to move came to $1500.00 from San Jose to Brentwood California which is near Livermore. My suggestion is that if you're moving within California or a nearby state, pay by the hour only. Air 1 moving charged us $150.00 per hour for 3 men and a truck. It took the movers 4 hours to pack in San Jose, 3 hours to unload into our home in Brentwood and, 3 hours back and forth drive time which is about 65 miles each way. Total of 10 hours equals $1,500.00. The movers did a terrific job and never stopped or even took a break during the time. Would very highly recommend Air 1 moving. read more

Best move ever! Robert and Brianne were sensitive to my need to move on a specific date with very little notice yet still with very competitive pricing. Thagia, Geo, Mary, and Felipe made my move carefree, They were all very professional, careful, efficient, fast, and creative in handling unexpected complications that came with the location. I recommend them for any home move. read more

We used Rosado a while back at the recommendation of someone in our building. So, the move went technically fine- nothing damaged, things mostly in the right place. Why 2 stars? I'd used west coast movers previously and they were just much more efficient. It took less time, a day less and cost the same to move from the city to the South Bay as it cost Rosado to move from one unit to another in the same building. The team would take frequent long breaks to the point where we just started moving stuff ourselves. They didn't finish the job. A bunch of miscellaneous items were neither packed or moved. So, in a few words: Expensive, inefficient and sand bagging on the job. Friendly however. Response to Rosado: I waited because I used you as a referral from someone who worked at the property. They have left recently, in the last few weeks. I waited until now to voice my opinion, which in my view is very fair. Your staff were very friendly, but very slow, which when you're paying by the hour, is deeply irritating. Nothing was damaged, everything was more or less in the right place. That's all I have to say, and I stand by the review. read more

We used CAL Movers today when my girlfriend moved into my house. The experience was absolutely perfect. Robert's crew arrived when they said they would and were fast and careful. It was a short move - from Albany to Oakland - but it was still nice to have people who knew what they were doing. Everything that needed wrapping was wrapped very well and nothing was damaged in transmit. We'd originally planned to rent a truck ourselves and I'm so glad we didn't. We would definitely use CAL Movers again and would highly recommend them to anyone else. read more

I had an excellent experience with CAL Movers in two recent moves. From my initial call with Robert to both moves, the quality of service and level of professionalism was great. All of the guys who helped with the move were friendly, efficient and hard-working. I have a hide-a-bed that is insanely heavy and they persevered up and down stairs and through a number of tight door openings. They were also very attentive to wrapping and padding my furniture to ensure nothing was damaged. I would both hire CAL Movers again as well as recommend to someone looking for a moving company they can trust. read more

Robert and his crew are awesome, friendly and hard-working. We moved from Mountain View to San Francisco in June 2012, and this move was fraught with problems. However, no problem for Robert and his crew. They handled every single bump in the road with a smile and with efficiency. First, we had scheduled a move for Sunday after Robert came and gave me a quote that was $500 lower than the next competitor. He was honest, friendly and on the ball. We scheduled 2 hours of packing for Saturday and a move for Sunday. The HOA at our new place requested countless pieces of documentation about Rosado Movers' insurance, but Brianne was very responsive to our repeated emails and provided everything we needed same-day. Then the HOA notified us that we could not move on a Sunday, and this was only a week before the move was to happen. Robert was able to fit us in on the following Tuesday. Phew. The packing crew was efficient, fast and packed our entire kitchen in 2 hours flat. Nothing in the boxes broke at all during the move. When the actual move came, some items were damaged, likely due to shifting items in the truck. Again, no problem for Robert. He replaced (within a hour!!) broken glass in a picture frame, and replaced our coffee table that had been damaged. He delivered the coffee table personally as well. I won't hesitate to recommend Rosado Movers to others and will be using them for our next move. read more

My work place used these guys to help with our move a couple of months ago, and we just scheduled another move with them! These guys are awesome, professional, and friendly. Robert is a very nice gentleman and gives you a quote right away when he comes by to look at your space. I would recommend Rosado Movers for your office move! read more

Love these guys! They have helped me several times with moves and are always my frist choice. They went above and beyond during my last move and actually put my bed together. They are very professional, and the best moving company I have ever used. read more

Rosado has been fantastic both times I have used them. They have arrived exactly on time, worked within the estimated time and are priced very reasonably. They were incredibly careful with all of our belongings, using tons of blankets and shrink wrap. They also meticulously wrapped all of our framed pictures in bubble wrap and cardboard. The movers were efficient and flexible. As long as I live around here I'll be using Rosado. read more

I hired Rosado Moving for my move last Saturday, they were really amazing. Robert arrived exactly on time, introduced me to the crew; Siale, Pita, Soa, Antonio and Leo. These men did the entire pack up in Mountain View, drove to my destination in Gold Country, then did the unload too. They kept me informed at every stage of my moving day. My neighbor had used Rosado's a couple of months ago and raved about them. I'm so glad I used her recommendation. Everything arrived safely and NOTHING was broken. Something I found special and unusual, the men stayed busy and thoughtful the entire day! Thank you Robert and Brianna from the front office. read more

I typically do not post reviews but I was so impressed with Rosado Movers that I wanted to make sure to get the word out. There were two teams that helped me out: the packers and the movers. Both were so nice to work with and the entire team, which included but was not limited to Pita, Gio, Dennis and Elbin exceeded my expectations!! They were so nice to work with, extremely efficient and had a great attention to detail. I HIGHLY recommend them and will definitely use them again the next time I need to move. read more

I would highly recommend Rosado Movers. Brianne, was quick to respond to my emails, followed up with friendly reminders and was very organized. Robert came to our house to see what we needed to move, and he was so helpful working to accommodate our schedule as well. He is a man of his word, trustworthy, honest, professional and kind. It's clear that his employees are like family to him and they want to work hard for him. The team arrived right on time, they were prepared with supplies and ready to get to work. It was evident that Leki, Pita, and Victor had lots of experience and take pride in their work. They were quick, extremely careful and friendly. Top notch service! I really liked that they work with Charities in the area, collecting unwanted (in good condition) furniture from their customers and then donate it at no cost to people and families in need. Also a plus that they disinfect their trucks twice a month and do background checks on employees. All in all, Rosado Movers made our move seamless, easy and we would use them again and recommend them! read more

We had Rosado Movers help us with our recent move, which involved first moving things to storage, and a few weeks later, moving them to our new place. Siale, Arturo, and Martin were very timely, hard-working, efficient and organized. Even as we ran into some bumps along the way (the apartment turned out to not be ready for move-in on the day of the move), they stayed flexible and we were able to make our move fast and easy. Martin, in particular, worked tirelessly the whole time. We are very glad to have worked with Rosado Movers. read more

I've used Rosado movers over a few moves in the past 3 years and have never been disappointed. The crew is friendly, fast, efficient and careful. Moved us on very short notice up the Peninsula to Redwood City. Very fast and painless move. Movers showed an excellent attention to detail, even remembering which piece was "your grandfather's old record player" and taking great care to make the move swift and easy. This moving company is the best! Due to delays in closing with escrow, we had to reschedule the moving date at least 3 times. As it was getting close to Thanksgiving I was really anxious about not moving out of my rental before the 30th. Fortunately, they moved us on a Saturday. Brianne was the best in making the arrangements and rescheduling. And the guys, Roberto, Soaa, Foeki, and Pita were strong, excellent, fast, and efficient!!!! They showed up on time. Despite us being their 3rd move of the day, they kept going and going to get us in our new home. I highly recommend this company! read more

Great moving experience with this company. I was extremely impressed with the professionalism, competency, and efficiency of the Rosado Movers Team. They were very responsive when I first reached out to them. Communication was prompt and clear. They are quick to schedule a walk through for an estimate and turn around a contract. During the move, they showed up on time and were equipped with all of the necessary packing materials and moving equipment. They handled all of my furniture and my TV with extreme care. We had just put in new flooring at our move destination and I wanted to make sure the floor was not scratched. The Rosado team put down move blankets everywhere for protection. They even stuck protective felt pads on the bottom of every piece of furniture at my request. I happily recommend Rosado Movers to everyone looking for a stress-free moving experience. read more

WOW Robert Rosado is great and his business is wonderful! This review is a long time coming because I did not know where to post, I recently found his card with the name CAL Movers on the back that I had forgot about. You can trust Robert and I feel anyone he has working with him, the way he works and his customer service, I wouldn't expect anything less from anyone he would hire. We had to move last minute and I found Robert on craigslist. We worked out a price and I had so much stuff, literally stuff and he helped me move everything. The stuff was treated as well as all the valuable furniture, tv's and breakable items. I really appreciate everything Robert and his helpers did for me. When I had Robert help me move he was getting ready to get married in about 2 months, so I hope all is going well as that is almost a year now. I apologize for the late review and hope your business is going well. Sandra read more

Rosado helped us move an apartment into storage while we were on the other side of the country. Planning a move is something that can make even the most level headed person a little anxious. Especially given the COVID-19 pandemic, we decided to let professionals handle this one and we couldn't be happier with that decision. The team of Rosado (Antonio, Chris, Manuel, Elvin, and Eddie) took amazing care of our furniture, worked incredibly hard, and were also very friendly. The packing service they offer is also amazing, securely packing everything in boxes so the movers know exactly where to put them. 10/10 would totally chose Rosado for our next move too! read more

This is the second time I am using Rosado movers. The first time I used them, they were early (which was very convenient) but also mentioned they didn't need to start until I was ready. The men that came out were not only quick, but made sure everything was wrapped securely. They triple checked that everything I wanted moved was being moved and offered to help packing some things I missed. They completed the job within three hours, I was moving from one city's next to each other. This second time using Rosado movers, Robert was extremely helpful yet again. He followed up with me and made sure to give me my exact date yet again I asked to move. Both times Robert has utilized bringing wardrobe boxes which makes moving a lot faster, cheaper, and efficient. I would highly suggest going with Rosado Movers, not only will you be happy, you'll be impressed. This company really knows "Customer Service"! read more

5 Stars for three movers who helped me move over memorial day weekend. They were 5 minutes early at the door with truck parked at nearest accessible location. They Got right to work, kept working non-stop like real Pros. I was moving out of one of those older but larger 1 BHK, 900 sqfts apartments and had lots of stuff but they finished loading all my belongings to truck within 1 hour or so. They were at my new address within 30 minutes and quickly unloaded everything on second floor within 1.5 hours. So what could have been a 4-5 hours job with other movers, they completed within 3 hours. I was happy and i tipped them 150$. Tips for making life easy for movers and help them help you finish your job early and save some money: Do your own packing. Pack everything you can except for bigger furnitures. Call in a day in advance to confirm they have you in calendar. Communicate in advance that you will do your own packing. Confirm that they come with wardrobe boxes. Very useful if you have tons of clothes. Give them space. They will go through everything and make sure nothing is left behind. 4 Stars for owners. Brianne and Robert were great and responded to each queries in time. Taking off 1 star because i felt like $140 for removal of 2-3 items to junk yard was steep but i decided to pay it just for convenience of having everything done in a single move. At the end of move, I requested one additional item to be removed and they demanded $70 more on top of $140. I paid it but this left little bit of bad taste. I felt like this was somewhat opportunistic and that they could have accommodated my request at no additional charge. Overall, very good experience and I will recommend Rosado movers to my friends and family. Will use them again for my next move. read more
