Heartbreaking experience. I thought they did a great job, at first, tipped and provided water to the crew. Everything fit in my 10x10 box truck, with some other items for them to haul away. Only 2 rooms to move, 1 to haul away, one to load in my truck, Clearly separated. Only took them 2 hours, but paid for 3 (the minimum). Imagine my sadness when I discovered the shelves to the 1 and only important piece, a family heirloom, missing. Also the entire shelves and inside parts to a stereo cabinet, that is now junk. I know it is just 'shelves' missing, lots of more important stuff to think about, however, the piece of furniture, including the shelves, was important to me. I made sure to point the piece out to the movers, saying it was really the only thing I wanted, the only piece I was taking to my home, the piece with family history, the only piece to be CAREFUL WITH. read more

I am reviewing from just an outsider's point of view. I was interested in getting an estimate for moving services from these guys, so I called up and had a list of several questions that I wanted answers to. They were not over the top specific, I just wanted to know how their business operated and if they were up to certain standards. About halfway through my list of questions, I could easily tell that this guy Robert was getting peeved about answering them. I asked if they provided worker's compensation insurance to their movers, and he told me that it was strange for me to be asking that. He said that they did not have that, and that any worker injuries would be covered by their insurance anyway. WRONG! It says all over the better business bureau website that under the california laws, all licensed mover companies MUST provide worker's compensation insurance to its employees. He also said they did not have a USDOT number. Above all, fellow yelpers, do NOT go with any company that makes you feel the least bit weird about asking any kind of questions. You have every right to know everything about a company before you let them into your homes and before you let them anywhere near your precious possessions. An update in response to this company's reply....I did in fact ask for an estimate. Otherwise, why else would I have called? I was quoted a price of $235 for a 3 hour job, and $170 for a 2 hour job, averaging out to be approximately $78/hour. I chose not to go with this company because of their inability to provide their workers with worker's compensation. If you look under the section titled "Are you insured?", you will find that ALL companies operating the in state of CA are required to have worker's compensation insurance for their employees, so it's not at all an option. Here is the website that lists that information: http://www.allreasonsmoving.com/FAQs.html. If I hear anything more from this company, I will further pursue this and look into reporting them for not carrying worker's compensation insurance. Thanks for reading, fellow yelpers! read more

Good, but not great. I have to admit, these guys moved my family on the hottest day of the year ... so I know it was a rough day. And they got everything to the new place (120 miles away) in one day, and nothing broke, etc.. BUT, we had some challenges: 1. They underestimated the job for time and price, so it was substantially more ... if I got the right price, I probably would have gone with a different mover 2. They didn't have key moving equipment for heavy items (straps, etc.) ... there was one moment where my armoire almost fell in the truck, but they stopped the truck in time (phew!). 3. They did not have cordless drills for taking apart furniture .. just manual screw drivers which took some time 4. They didn't put back some furniture completely ... they forgot some screws at the old house Nice people, but I think they need to work out some operational issues. read more

These guys are the best. We have used them three times - once for a one bedroom house move in an urban environment; once for a seven bedroom move in a very tricky woods location; once to move a hot tub that was delivered to our driveway and needed to be relocated to our yard. They encountered various challenges and are expert problem solvers. Everything was packed and handled with care and we lost zero items and had zero items damaged. They have great attitudes and customer service orientation. And, their rates were more competitive than others we asked. Cannot recommend them enough. read more

Since the first call they were very friendly and answer very fast. The first day they arrived on time and they work very hard packing everything and with a lot of care, They did not stoped until they finished. Next day they arrived also on Time and start working on the first minute and they really did a great job loading all the staff and filling every place of the truck and very gentle. They did the job very fast and at the end the price was amazing. Thanks Roberto and your team for the move, read more

We used Cal Movers for our move from California to Arizona this past summer. We'd had a lot of quotes but I felt really comfortable with Robert and his sweet wife. I said we had a lot of stuff and made sure we'd have enough room in the vehicle he'd intended to use. They were there pretty well on time for the moving day, with a lot of great workers. They worked hard, but Robert was in and out, and a lot of times they'd have to stop so they could get his approval on how they were packing the van. Finally he came, and they, indeed, didn't have enough room, so he had to rent an additional U-haul, after asking me if they could just move my stuff 800 miles away on a trailer covered by tarps. I said no. He, to his credit, rented the other Uhaul and they made it work. He said that he'd put locks on the vans and give me the key, which he didn't. He made great time to Arizona, and showed up right on time for the moving day. He had a great crew of nice guys who worked really quickly. However, Robert didn't take the beds apart in California, and hence had a really hard time putting them back together here. They did dent a few walls during the move in process, I understand, but I wasn't really happy with. I understand that it was about 115 degrees here and they needed to work quickly. When I went to go pick up my kids I gave his wife a check for the balance due, and while I was gone, he asked my husband to be very generous as he paid the balance due and any tip, as he felt there was a lot more stuff then he had orignally seen and had to rent the other truck. So, my husband also gave him a check for the balance due and a very large tip which I wasn't comfortable with, but I could understand. It was me, who was balancing the checkbooks figured out we'd both written them two large checks and had to call him. He said he wasn't aware and called his wife and then they said they were sorry would rip up the extra check or send it to us via the mail. I said that wasn't necessary, as I'd cancelled it the minute I noticed the mistake. Frankly, these are great guys for in-town moves and I've recommended them to several friends in the bay area - and they have had wonderful experiences, but I really think that my move was too much for them. I wouldn't recommend them for an out of state move. I wish we would've gone with a larger company. both he and Grabel were priced similarly but I chose the smaller company, mostly because of Yelp reviews and how comfortable I was with Robert. I wish Robert and his family the best though, they are hard workers and good at their jobs. read more

We used Rosado movers twice. The first time was a great experience and even recommended it to others. The second time was a terrible one. - misunderstood our moving requirements and thought we had to move two houses instead of one. They promised to take this misunderstanding into account while preparing the final bill, but did not. - dismantled a desk improperly and broke the edges (presumably they did not want to spend too much time on dismantling the right way). I wish I had just spent my own time disassembling it. We weren't happy - not recommending them any more. read more

Four Stars for the Most Ignorant Mover in the Bay Area. The reason they charge by the hour is they disassemble and/or take apart everything regardless of size or necessity. They took apart small lamps, tables, chests, even a plastic bin AND it takes forever to put everything back together. Now you know how they make money. When I complained and asked the movers not to disassemble everything, Robert the Owner showed up in a frenzy and had a 2-hour temper tantrum at my home on the day of the move, he did a lot of yelling in front of my home, in front of neighbors and my 13-year old daughter. He also instructed his workers to remove everything from the truck because it was "his way or highway". My daughter aptly said, "Mom, why does Robert get to bully everyone?" I replied because on the day of any move, Robert has people "by the balls" and gets to do and say whatever he wants when he wants. This emotionally unstable person also gets to throw tantrums, yell and will cancel your move on the day of the move without regard to anyone except himself and his own towering instability and ignorance. If you love to be told what to do, what you will pay, and enjoy being ordered around and demeaned by incompetent people then please run don't walk to Rosado's. If you want to keep your self respect, sanity and don't want to spend days and weeks re-assembling every lamp, shelf and table then run don't walk to another mover. read more

Love these movers, and definitely plan to use them for the next move I need to make. I called them semi-last-minute (I think less than a week's notice), and I was still able to get a Saturday morning appointment (so grateful!) I hired them for the 4 hour minimum, which is 3 movers, the truck, supplies (blankets, tape, etc) for $185/hour. They were 15 minutes late, probably because my apartment is a little hard to fine. I wasn't upset, but the owner showed up with 4 extra guys, no charge. Amazing! They moved 2 beds, a piano, a couch, and some random heavy/bulky furniture out of the old apartment. They drove my stuff to the new place (1.5 miles away) and move it all up an awkward flight of stairs and through a weird hallway to get it into our apartment. Nothing was damaged, and they wore booties to avoid getting the floors dirty. They put together a table and a bed, and rearranged the furniture in the living room. Freddie, Hernan, and Carlos were the original 3 movers, and they were fantastic. Friendly, polite, professional, got the job done. Roberto is the owner, and you can tell that when you call the number, it's his cell phone, because he is super responsive! He came, with Juaqin, Ussen, Jason, and Fill for extra help. Everyone was awesome. I can't say enough nice things about these movers. read more

This is my first review ever on Yelp, but I had such a great experience with Rosado Movers that I had to give them some Yelp love. From the first meeting with Robert my wife and I felt immediately comfortable with him. He is very friendly, straightforward, funny, and feels like an old friend shortly after you meet him. There were no salesman tactics, no upselling to get us to pay more. Robert came to our place, gave us the prices for everything, and left it up to us if we wanted to go with them. We ended up hiring Rosado to not only move us, but also pack up our entire 2 bedroom apartment. The day before the move Robert sent 3 women and a guy to our house to literally pack everything up. We had barely packed a thing, it was the day before we were to move, and 3 hours later 95% of our place was packed and in boxes. It was a bit expensive, and there was a minimum of 3 hours, but it was worth every penny. The next day the team showed up on time (15 minutes early in fact and waited outside until the appointment time came) and started moving. It was not the fastest move I have experienced, and actually took a little longer than expected, but that was only because they were incredibly thorough wrapping every piece of furniture, lamps, art, etc. These guys are used to packing up big houses with expensive stuff, but they took the same care with our small apartment and marginally nice things as they would have for a much nicer place. The other kicker was that, because of our jam packed schedule, the only day we could move was Easter Sunday. Robert accommodated our request and even showed up as the guys were finishing up, straight from church in his Sunday best no less. Our experience with Rosado was truly amazing. It was by far the best moving experience of my life, and on top of his great staff, Robert is just an awesome guy to work with. I will definitely be recommending Rosado Movers to anyone I can, and you would be remiss not to give them a serious look when planning your next move. read more

First I have to say that the guys that actually move the stuff and drive the truck did a fabulous job. They protected the furniture and moved things with efficiency and care. They asked questions when they needed to and were very friendly and professional. Second I have to say that the business office and quoting process left me feeling like I got scammed. Quoting: I received a quote from Tony about a month before our move of 4-6 hours to complete our small move at $140/hr. When I agreed they were going to send a contract that I never received so I assumed they were not that interested. I was about to sign with another mover when they contacted me and offered me a 20% discount for them dropping the ball. So I agreed. He told me he needed to come out again. This time the estimate was more like 7 hours and he wanted now to do a fixed bid. Because now I was in a time crunch and had dropped the other movers, I agreed. (This was my bad!) Long story short, I ended up not getting my discount and actually paid more per hour($170/hr) than their normal rate or the normal rate of any other mover because his estimate so far off. I know they have a lot of good reviews and the guys did do a good job so if you are going to use them make sure you are very clear what you are getting into. Unfortunately we started off on the wrong foot and it didn't get any better. Update: Robert the owner came through in the end and refunded us the difference between the quoted rate and the rate I paid. I believe he did the best he could to correct a bad situation. read more

Rosado Movers did such a great job! We didn't anticipate moving so quickly and they were able to book something with us quickly. We plan on moving them again soon to move again. Moving homes is not fun but Rosado Movers makes it much easier! read more

I was very happy with these guys. They arrived sharp on time, worked tirelessly, and finished within the estimated time. They took good care in wrapping all our furniture and fragile items. Everything was moved without a single dent. There were 4 of them at the start, but it was mainly 3 guys (Omar, Valentin, Angel) who stayed till the end. They had some real heavy lifting to do (we have a huge, heavy couch) but were cheerful throughout the whole process. In between, Robert (I think he is the owner) stopped by and checked with us to make sure everything was going smoothly. That was a real nice touch! I still hate shifting residences. But with these guys around, I will no longer have to worry about the moving process. I plan on using their service once again in the near future. read more

5 Stars! We recently moved from Mountain View to Milpitas and we couldn't be any happier with our move with Rosado's. We narrowed down our search through yelp reviews and had 4 companies come out to give us estimates. Tony from Rosado's gave us the best value in terms of price, number of workers assigned to our move, and our perceived professionalism of his company. TIP: Make sure to ask for an all inclusive price (packing and moving). The move was a two day process. On Thursday, three ladies came to do the packing and labeling of the boxes. They were very thorough and careful in their packing, as nothing was broken during our move. On Friday, 8am, Tony and 5 crew members came to load the trucks. They quickly got to it and were always very methodical in prepping and protecting the furniture and disassembling our bed. They left our condo in impeccable condition. You can really tell the staff was well trained, because they worked so well together and each of them knew their roles. During the loading portion, Robert the owner stopped by and said hello and made sure everything was ok. Great to see the boss on the front line. The two trucks proceeded to Milpitas and unloaded our belongings in our new home. The staff separated in two groups, an outside and inside. The outside group did the transfer from the truck to the garage, while the inside group placed the boxes and furniture in the appropriate/desired locations. The inside group wore "booties" in order not to dirty the carpet. Another nice touch that made us pleasantly surprised. Throughout the entire process, Tony was observing and orienting the staff when needed. We did a final walkthrough together, approved everything, cut him a check and that was that.....easy peasy....super stress free. A few weeks after our move, we called Rosado's to schedule a pick up of our empty boxes. Our side yard was filled with boxes, mostly from the move and some other new purchases. To our surprise, Robert the owner showed up and did the work of clearing every box. My wife was super happy! What a nice touch from the owner to show up and make sure everything was to our liking. In summary, from beginning to end, Rosado's sets the bar high for a moving company. On our next move, we will be moving with Rosado's. read more

I originally called another top rated mover to get a quote and schedule an appointment. However, they called me back a half day later. Their service might be good but if you can't reach them and they call back so late, how are you going to expect anything good from them? Anyways, I happened to chance upon Cal-Movers after reading up more on Yelp and saw the great reviews. Robert and his crew are friendly and personable. The team did a great job lugging all of my stuff out of my 1 bedroom townhome, and there was quite a lot of stuff. They were careful to wrap any type of furniture that may be damaged in blankets and shrink-wrap to prevent any fallouts. Work was done swiftly and I didn't really see them take a break. At my new place, they took care not to dirty the carpet and placed blankets all the way to the bedrooms. There was this one executive desk that I had (super, super heavy and solid) which took forever to squeeze along the twisted stairwell. I commend them for doing a great job of not damaging any of the walls and getting this heavy desk upstairs. Robert and his team work hard and efficiently and they have a great attitude going about their work. Robert was very responsive to all of my phone calls unlike the other company I called. Lol. I would highly recommend his services. Great prices, great work, great guys. Not much more you can ask for. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family. read more

Robert and his crew (Omar, Jaime, Anthony, Angel) were amazing. Simple task: get an enormous piece of extremely heavy furniture up to the second floor of a building when it wouldn't fit through any of the doors. And do it with no notice after hours. On the evening before a holiday. When no one else was answering, Rosado Movers did -- and they did it with enthusiasm and high spirits. This was an extremely challenging move and the item was carefully wrapped and made it to it's destination in perfect shape. When they were done, there was applause from across the street who stopped to see how the impossible gets done. Thank you guys! Five stars plus for each and every one of your team! read more

I never thought I would give a moving company a perfect review. But that's because I had never moved with Rosado Movers. Every move I have had (cross country, local, you name it) has been a total nightmare. Items were lost, furniture damaged, etc. But my move with Rosado went perfectly. From the get go, Tony, one of the owners, was very responsive and gave me a completely accurate quote. There were no hidden charges at any point before or after the move. Then the four gentleman who moved me (Lekky, Tonga, Piea, and Nate) were phenomenal. They took their time and did it right. All of my expensive furniture was delivered without so much as a scratch. Honestly not one dent. They disassembled and reassembled high end and complicated furniture masterfully. And the crew were just great guys. Very polite and friendly. I couldn't have asked for a better moving experience and because of those four guys, I will never move with anyone other than Rosado. Thanks for the best possible moving experience! read more

I chose CAL movers based on Yelp reviews and my conversation with Rob over the phone when scheduling -- I liked him and I liked the quote. He called a day ahead of time to confirm my Saturday morning move from a 1-bedroom to new apartment only a few minutes away. I anticipated a pretty quick and smooth move. Well, I lucked out big time: at 8 AM Saturday FIVE moving men arrived! Turns out, they had a much larger move scheduled after me. With so many guys, my move ended up taking less than an hour! This was unexpected and is probably not the norm, but it certainly made a good first impression for me! The crew was quick, organized, and professional. I will call them for my next local move and certainly recommend them to friends. read more

Using Rosado Movers made our move easy and fast, I would definitely recommend having them make your life easier as we all know moving is a terrible process. Obtaining a quote was clear and easy over email, so we knew exactly what to expect on the day of our move. Maya, Antonio, Chris, and Juan had us out of our Mountain View apartment and into our San Francisco apartment in just 3.5 hours, which includes the time it took to drive into the busy city. All of our things were moved efficiently and with care, arriving in our new place just as we packed it. I will definitely use them for my next move. read more

Very respectful people trying to do a good job but still not professional enough. There was not follow up call between scheduling and the day we were moving, I had to call them the day before to make sure they were coming. Having an immature teenager helping was not a good idea. He dropped boxes and broke some of my kitchen stuff. The move was slow, it took longer than expected, and they were very disorganized. I had to pay almost $3000 when I got a quote for $1600. Very disappointing! The older movers had a great attitude and tried to do their best and were extremely careful but still there was a feeling of chaos. read more

I have moved a number of times in the last 5 years and I have not written a review for any movers...until now. Not only were they timely, professional, efficient, courteous and accommodating, they really are like family. It is impressive to have a family owned business run as beautifully as Rosado Movers does. Moving is a stressful process, and it is not FREE to have someone come and move everything for you, so when we are treated with respect and given the best service possible for our dollar, we will choose and recommend Rosado Movers EVERYTIME. I read some of the reviews below and respectfully disagree with pricing complaints and temper complaints: nothing could be further from the truth. These guys are fair priced, hard working, and completely cordial. Robert and Carlos personally came over to meet our family to see that the move went well. They did not let us lift a finger. Robert, a brand new dad, took time out of his day to come meet us. That's customer service. We had an amazing crew of young men: Sione, Lil Junior, Joge, Foaki, Lil Anthony, Jordan. They each moved quickly, carefully, efficiently, and always with a smile. When we were unable to decide where we wanted furniture to finally settle, they were patient with us and helped us move HUGE dressers a few different places to help us find a final spot. They never rested until the end. Do yourself a favor and book these guys when you need to move. You will not be sorry. read more

I used these guys to move from Sunnyvale to Mountain View. They did a fantastic job, and I will definitely use them again for my next move. Due to poor planning on my part, I needed a mover on short notice. I gave Robert (the owner) a call, and he and his crew showed up to my place the very next day. They arrived on time and were complete professionals. The move went flawlessly and the bill was very reasonable. read more

5 Star Movers: Fair, Honest, Courteous and Very Professional. Family run business with there own employees. We moved today on a Sunday. The movers were ready to go 30 minutes before our scheduled move...Wow very much on time! Estimate was spot on. For Silicon Valley the estimate was reasonable and the actual cost came in under the estimate and it was very fair. I'm a believer in you get what you pay for.... these movers are a bargain in my opinion. Everything was packed and wrapped carefully. The 3 movers we had worked hard and non stop for 6 hours.... Job well done! Would use Rosado Movers again no question. read more

I called Rosado Movers in a panic because the original moving company, two men and a trunk, left me high and dry for my move. The owner of Rosado Movers worked with me to get his guys out to me within an hour of our phone call. I was promised 3 movers and received 4 guys which moved the process along quickly. The guys were friendly and professional and i am thankful they were there to come to the rescue. I highly recommend Rosado Movers to anyone as they will get the job done well and for a reasonable price. Our movers, Gio, Anthony, Maea, and Juan were very positive individuals who love their job. Even while working hard on a hot day, they still crack jokes and create a personal relationship with the customer. Thanks guys! read more

This was our second time using Rosado Movers and again we were very pleased and happy with our move. The customer service level is superb and the courtesy reminder calls and check in is greatly appreciated. Their team shows up on time - which is a huge plus as we all know when you are moving your schedule is pretty organized. Rosado Movers has allowed us to move now twice using their services with peace of mind and knowing that they are going to get the job done efficiently and right the first time. The team that helped us with our recent move was Pala, Pita and Alfani. Super awesome nice guys, great crew! Again, nothing but great things to say about our experiences and would highly recommend Rosado Movers. Thanks guys! read more

I didn't end up using them but I spoke to them on the phone and they sounded really nice and professional. These guys were outstanding. The person on the phone was patient in explaining their pricing to me and even offered to help me dump my couch (for a fee). I was able to get an appointment right when I wanted. The three guys they sent (Paea, Pita, Leki) arrived early and were friendly, professional and helpful. They had good knowledge of interior arrangement issues, so it was easy to communicate with them. My only caution is they have a 4-hour minimum, so be aware, but for me it wasn't an issue because my move took more than 4 hours. read more

Initially I had posted a review with words to the effect of Rosado being unable to commit to any timeframe but their own. However, the lack of communication on the day of the move was due to a sudden death in the family of the owners. Rosado's men came and moved my dining room set on the same day I had planned to perform just the estimate. The set is not inexpensive, so I was glad to see the care and caution they took to ensure the items were protected and moved without damage. The care that they took would have been a five-star effort by itself. However, they went beyond by offering a sincere apology for missing the original appointment time, moving the items quickly and efficiently, and doing all this at a good price. I could not ask for more. read more

Rosado Movers were great ! The crew and owners were excellent communicators and hard workers. Our move was done quickly and with great care. I particularly appreciated the company CALLING me back right away to answer questions I had. Very rare these days.... I will highly recommend them to others and use them again myself as well. read more

I have used Rosado Movers two times now, and they were excellent both times (once for a one-bedroom move, and lately for a full 2BR apartment to a house with stairs). They're good about quickly getting you an accurate quote, and the move went as smoothly and efficiently as I could ask for! They brought plenty of supplies to carefully pack up all our furniture, along with a huge stack of our framed posters that we weren't sure how we were going to move. Everything arrived intact, and they set things up exactly where we wanted them to. They also were careful to use booties over their shoes in the house we were moving to (without even being asked), which was awesome because our landlord had just put in brand new carpet. I would definitely use them again if I need to move again (though of course I hope I don't need to anytime soon). read more

Robert and his SWAT team helped me move my two story place in SF to a new place in Oakland. The team is great. They assess what there is to do before and on moving day (even with all my supposedly good intentions to organize myself) and they kick into action. I had some huge things like 2 big sofas, a valuable 4 foot by 7 foot Mona Lisa painting and a 4 story climb to my new place in Oakland. The guys are clean, swift, and nice to deal with. read more

Not only did they not answer their phone, but their voicemail box was full. Unprofessionalism thrives in this industry.

Rosado Movers really is as good as it gets. We have used them twice in the past two years; both moves were fairly priced, and as seamless as a move could be. Robert and his entire crew are the utmost professionals: courteous, considerate, excellent communicators and genuinely nice people. They were always on time whether it was to give a bid, move us, pack us, and even to pick up items to donate. Robert and his team: his son Anthony, Pita, Leki, Moiano, Chris, Yamil, Eliezer, Debbi, KC, Antonio and Luis were always checking on us, making sure they were doing what we wanted. His packers - three of the friendliest and most efficient women you will ever meet - Marta, Ora and Carla - packed me for both moves with speed and care. Robert is hands on and so supportive of his entire team. Robert not only moved my belongings, he also took all of my donations to his warehouse to distribute through his network of organizations. I didn't have to deal with my unwanted furniture and household goods. Two moves. Nothing broken. Always on time. Professional, and perfectionists. And finally, just so nice. I can't recommend them highly enough. read more

Robert and his team packed and moved us last week. They all did an excellent job, as I am opening more boxes I realize nothing broke as everything was wrapped and packed professionally. They also re assembled our beds and took excellent care of larger pieces of furniture. All of this work always with a smile and a yes I can attitude! We had used Rosado movers back in 2012 and now I know why I kept their business card and called them when I needed to move again: THEY ARE THE BEST! read more

Juan, Caesar, Joseph and Valentin were amazing. I called Robert Rosado and asked for his help unloading a upack truck from a long distance move. I gave him extremely short notice but he made it happen for me. The four gentleman arrived on what should have been there day off and hustled up and down three flights of stairs (after the elevator broke down) moving a four bedroom house worth of furniture. They were polite, gentle with my belongings and did a fantastic job on clean up. Robert even called me afterward to let me know that I was getting a discount because I paid in cash and that he owed me money!!! What a great experience. Rosado Movers are awesome. I had to move an entire church, furnishings, accumulation of church stuff used in worship, offices, etc., when our property was sold. The move had to be staged over several weeks. They were able to accommodate short notice when I needed to pack up in a hurry. They provided everything we needed and included professional packers, boxes, loading of temporary storage containers, and unloading too. I needed to move heavy furniture in my house from the second floor to the first. Again they came through with professionalism and courtesy. I will use them again without hesitation. read more

Great guys. Helped me move a studio apmt in 2 hrs. Very helpful

We hired Rosado based on a referral from a friend, who had used them twice in the last few years. While a bit pricier than other local movers we looked into, they were worth the differential. Our 4-man crew -- Foike, Piea, Mondy and Tevita -- was simply exceptional and had a great work ethic. They arrived early, got everything right (we had things we were moving and things we were storing, spread over 3 floors), and were efficient, careful, respectful and friendly. They wrapped/unwrapped or took apart and reassembled anything remotely breakable or fragile. . The only small glitch (Tony take note!) was underestimating our need for wardrobe boxes -- 4 were provided, we needed 6. This was remedied easily in our case by making a quick run in my car with one of the guys to our new place, emptying two of the boxes, and bringing them back to refill. Not sure how it would have been handled if our new place was farther away, but I expect it would have been dealt with professionally. We expect to use Rosado again (hopefully this crew!) for any future moves. read more
