On September 12, 2021, 3 days after our arrival in Green Valley, Az. we had a sewer disaster. Our sewer failed catastrophically. I was doing a wash. It went into spin cycle and I walked back to the middle bath to get som paper towels. Sewage lik a volcano was coming our tub and toilet. I immediatly ran to turn off the washing machine. I grabbed my mop and spin bucket, clorox and lysol spray and began tackling the mess. It was pretty much the same in the master bath and julie and I got both bathrooms pretty clean in about 20 minutes. Rugs out in couryard sun. (The volcanos had stopped as soon as I turned of the washing machine.) Terrified and both of us unwell, (I was scheduled for cancer surgery on Sept. 16 and Julie was suffering from Long Haul Covid with underlying severe Immune system disorder.) Not sure what to do I began by looking for plumbing services and checking reviews. I found Rooter Ranger near the top of listings and read about 10 reviews. All good. I called them and they arrrived at our home in about 2 hours. Pretty good! One of their subsidiary companys, Quiick Restore came about the same time in full Hazmat attire toting huge air cleaning machines. They got them all set up quickly. It was 107 that day, quickly becoming hotter in the house from the machines so for the next 2 weeks, day and night our A/C was going full blast. Not Cheap! I sat with the Rooter Ranger supervisor and was told I had to take out a loan for 25000, a requirement for them to begin repairs. At that time it was our impression that loan would cover all the demolition, repairs, and restoration. Little did we know it would be over 7 months of noise and filth and intrusion of workers with big errors and much backtracking and poor communication and supervisors being replaced (4) and poor responses to our attempts o communicate and get these people to communicate with each other. The noise and filth and associated stress and constant disruption of our lives was bad. All three companies made mistakes and conflicts between them were unreal. We had been told that Rooter Ranger would be managing the whole job, including insurance communications and that insurance would be paying promptly as they (Rooter Ranger) had expertise in dealing with insurance companies and gettin high and timely reimbursement for their clients. The Rooter Ranger supervisor told us we would only have to pay 1 or two loan payments before insurance would take over everything. Sadly, this was not true. The Insurance adjuster who came that afternoon was kind and seemed thorough in her damage assessment and assured a good company response. But that is not what happened. Over the following months we spent a huge amount of time trying to get paid. The adjuster was very slow to respond to emails and phone calls. We finally contactd the head of their client satisfaction team and began to get help in February, 2022. We got partial payment for only the subsidiary companies, Quick Restore and Alpha Builder. They paid nothing for Rooter Ranger who we owed the loan to. We spent hours (while bothof us quit ill) working on this, suffering great anguish and total life disruption an degredating health from the stress of it all. Finally, desparate to find resolution and be able to return to our Colorado home, we called the CEO of Rooter Ranger in Phoenix. THREE DAYS later, on April 4, 2022, we had a visit in our home there in Green Valley, Az. from the CEO, Client Satisfaction Supervisor and the Safety Officer. After just about 1/2 hour the CEO gave us a hand written note signed by all tree statiung that Rooter Ranger would assume our loan immediately and pay it off in full asap. This actually happened. We had to be persistent with our communications, both with Rooter Ranger and their recommended Loan Company, (Green Sky) to get it all completed but it finally happened in July of 2022. I must say it was nothing short of a miracle after months of absolute anguish. If we had had the health and youythful stamina, ( we are both 77) we would probably have done very well with legal action. That wasn't possible given our poor health. Rooter Ranger in Pheonix has pledged to research and correct the administrative and communication problems with the Tucson Branch we had dealt with. Never hesitate to contact Pheonix Rooter Ranger and speak to Vince Galgano if you encounter problems, wherever you are using their company's services. They will make things right for you. Don't hesitate to hire Rooter Ranger. This is a follow. sort of. In June RR was out to clear a clogged toilet drain. I posted a positive review. Three months later, the same toilet clogged and a tech came out. He was able to clear it but told me I likely had a bigger problem and offered to have a field supervisor come out with a camera. I had agreed. I should disclose that I have a lot of construction experience as a grunt worker, home enthusiast and paper general contractor who developed thousands of apartments, so I am very observant of any tradesman or subcontractors doing work at my home. After opening the clog, the tech called in to set me up with the camera operator. I offered to pay for the visit and he said not to worry, they would roll it into the camera cost. The next day, Jim showed up after letting me know he was 30 minutes out. He scoped my sewer under the house and out to the drain, showed me some bulging areas and small roots where I tapped into the main when I plumbed the problem bathroom, great info so I can do some preventative maintenance. He then looked into a sink trap that I lost a brass high pressure nozzle in about 15 years ago just above the toilet, there it was. While I used a hose to flush the nozzle further toward the potty stack, he watched it on camera until it was very close to the edge. I tried to grab it with a retractable claw tool I have. Jim jumped in and was able to position the claw in front of the camera and grab the nozzle - 15 years and it was out, what a bonus. The camera showed a very heavy root invasion about 30 feet from the potty on the way to the main, which he located for me. Lucky for me, it was past the patio slab, so it will be easy to expose and replace. Fantastic and the bill was very, very reasonable, less than I expected. Here is my take away: They are very up front about costs, all three visits by different employees were impressive and I have to say that Jim is clearly very experienced and knowledgeable. I should add that I don't have any financial interest in RR nor do I personally know the owner or his employees and I wasn't compensated to write a review - I do know there are many horror stories about slipshod plumbing repair companies, so if I seem to be gushing, well my experience was just very positive and I think this is an honest and reliable company. read more

We had a backup which we thought was taken care of, but a week after having a plumber out here, we ended up backed up again. We were at a loss as to who to call, ending up calling Rooter Ranger, where they came out immediately to see what the issue was. The young man who took care of us was Tim. From the get go, Tim was very professional, very nice, very caring about our problem. Although the job was a pretty big issue and was taking at least 5 days to complete, Tim was able to make sure we could use our plumbing necessities until the job was completed with minor "wait" times. There was a lot of digging involved, which he did by himself. Basically he was on the job by himself, with the exception of a supervisor coming by to see how things were going, and on the last day having a extra hand to finish the job. Tim was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done, and communicated very well with us in explaining everything he was doing to correct our issues. We are very happy with the service we received, and very pleased with such an outgoing, knowledgeable, polite young man who completed our job. IF, and I say IF, we ever have issues moving forward, which I doubt, I will request Tim for the job. The plumber, Luis, explained to me what needed to be accomplished in order to repair a leaky kitchen faucet. The problem was more massive than I had anticipated but Luis explained thoroughly what needed to be accomplished to fix the problem. Luis arrived at my home at 12 Noon and did not leave my home until 6:30 p.m. on a Saturday. Luis accomplished all the work including needed to replace the outside shut-off valve to my condo unit as the shut-off valve was broken and he could not shut off the water. Therefore, he needed to replace the valve before tackling the kitchen faucet. He even had a kitchen faucet on hand that could be used so that I did not need to go to a hardware store to purchase one. He removed the existing kitchen faucet and installed the new faucet as well as the shut-off valve. This was more work than I had expected but Luis was very friendly and courteous and did a fantastic job and really did not leave a terrible mess around my kitchen and he cleaned up the outside where the shut-off valve was located. I would recommend Luis for other plumbing jobs around my home and would recommend him for other people who need a plumber. He has a wealth of plumbing experience and mentioned to me that he would be training would-be plumbers. read more

I'm leaving a 1-star review for Rooter Ranger Plumbing due to a disappointing experience. Initially, the team was helpful, thorough, knowledgeable, and quick to respond to our emergency plumbing issue. Special recognition goes to Luke and the phone staff, who were the only positives throughout our ordeal. Unfortunately, the manager, Luis, who is also the owner's son, was nearly impossible to reach after his initial visit, leading to significant delays and frustration. Luke deserves a better company to showcase his talents. Ultimately, my husband and I felt compelled to discontinue their services due to poor communication and follow-through. When we finally managed to discuss a billing issue with Luis, his offer to partially reduce the cost of backfilling and concreting a large hole they left was inadequate and unhelpful, especially since it relied on insurance support we weren't receiving. This experience was far from satisfactory, and I cannot recommend their services. read more

I tried all the DIY methods which failed. Tried store bought solutions that failed too. ROTOR RANGER responded to my estimate request, so I called to hire them. They had a variety of times avail from emergency to later on. Timothy arrived right on time. Very friendly, and professional, put my nerves at ease. So my company needed emergency service the Monday of Christmas week. Our water was completely shut off do to an underground leak. Tech came out with his boss on Tuesday and we negotiated a bid, large job and large sum of money. They told us the would be done Friday, December 24th. They even said they would work Christmas weekend if needed. Well almost 3 weeks later still not finished. They send some days one guy for a couple of hours and some days nobody shows up at all, all the while giving us the run around to why it's going so slow and avoiding our calls. I've watched some of the social media videos they have on how customer service is number one goal! Really?? We pressed early this morning and they promised to be here by 9:00 AM, it is now 10:46, nobody is here again. We just moved to the Tucson area in the last few months from our of state, so we don't have a list of local companies who can help us with our home Repair needs. Now we at least have a plumber we can call. Based on positive internet reviews, we called Rooted Ranger when our kitchen sink wouldn't drain. We had someone here in less than an hour and a half. I was stunned! I figured we'd be lucky to have someone here by the next day. Anyway, it turned out that there was a plug in the line and our disposal a cracked housing and needed to be replaced. I think our plumber's name is Joshua, who covers our part of the county. He drove back to Tucson (our home is in Vail) and returned with a replacement disposal, had it replaced in a flash and was done. I rarely need to call a plummer. This particular "early" morning, both our toilets were plugged. I found Rooter Ranger the day before online and they had a $47 special for line clearning. So when I called them, you are connected to a National call center. The only problem I have with that is they tell you the technician is finishing up a call and when call you back right after this call. Well it took me calling them back 3 times (hour apart). Finally this great young man, Austin, called and said he was 30 minutes out. He spent 2 1/2 hours trying to clear out the line. He called his Boss (Bob) who had a camera machine and within several minutes, our lines were clear. Outstanding customer service (Covid-19 awareness) and only charged us $47. I highly recommend Rooter Ranger for ANYONE that needs plummig problems. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Frank responded to our call he was personable, took the time to educate us on a few options for our repair and actually advised the "easy fix" for now. We have an older home with galvanized and copper plumbing that we really need to give some attention to, but thanks to Frank, we can start planning for it now rather than being "upsold through scare tactics" to do something immediately. We've lived in our mobile home for 3 years without any real issues. However last week on Thursday, our kitchen sink would not drain. I tried natural methods then moved on to commercial drain cleaner. I waited until Monday to call the Handyman who came out right away. He could not 'fix' it and recommended Rooter Ranger. my toilet was flowing over and flooding the bathroom and halway . toilet water went under the wall and into the kitchen also. i called roorter ranger ranger because I used them before and they did a great job fixing the pipes in the wall. Francisco came out and found the problem was in the drain going out to the street. Putting in a new pipe, Francisco was there the whole time and did a great job. I was impressed wit his professionalism in the way he got the job done. knowing we would need the toilet, he worked till after dark putting finishing touches. They arrived in a timely manor and tried traditional methods to open clogged sewer drain. Then they had to add ground clean out access and power washed the drain. A video showed major damage that would leave constant problems so a sewer line replacement was needed. Still stunned by costs but neighbors have had the same problems and costs. I had a clog in my bathrooms on a Sunday. I called several companies. Some did not answer, some wanted to charge an additional $350 after hours fee in addition to the repair. Rooter Ranger answered promptly, there were no additional fees on a Sunday, and they called and sent a text when they were on their way. Connor was our technician and he was great.
