I don't understand companies who come out and spend time (2 guys, one hour) measuring and seeing what was needed to get an estimate to me on a $4,000 to $5,000 plumbing job, say I'll get it the next day, and then just never provide an estimate, even when I had asked again after I had not received the estimate. They came to hook up our newly remodeled kitchen. Under the sink leaked first time I used it. The plumber was to big to fit under the sink area. The problem was the garbage disposal. My husband contacted Scott Valentine on Saturday to arrange an appointment to come by our house on Monday between 2-4 to fix our clogged sink. At about 10 until 4 on Monday when they hadn't showed yet or called we called the office and were told that that they couldn't make it out today and in fact would not be able to come until Thursday!! If they were unable to make the appointment they should have notified us immediately so that we could have made other arrangements... that is just common courtesy and what is regarded as professional behavior. It is now after 4:00 pm and of course it is too late in the day to get another plumber to come to our house today. We planned our entire schedule because Scott told us the technician would be here this afternoon. Scott seemed like a nice guy but unfortunately because he is unprofessional and unreliable I would look elsewhere. read more

We has an expensive faucet put in our kitchen which always seemed loose - loose to the point that sometimes water did not flow at all. I had what I thought was a water leak going from my house all the way to the city water line! When I called I spoke with Pam the owner. Not only, did she answer on a Sunday but also said she could have someone out in a few hours! I was given an actual appointment time not a five hour window. Rudy and Eric showed up 3 minutes EARLY!!! Nice, clean cut men who were super honest. They told me the "huge water leak" I thought I had was due to my irrigation system (thank goodness). I appreciate the timeliness on both the appointment scheduling and technicians arrival at actual appointment time; and the honest business practice.
