Wow! Had a major emergency last weekend and these guys were fantastic! We were hosting a wedding for our son at our home and an hour before everyone was due to arrive it became evident that the drains were clogged. I have a decent sized home with numerous bathrooms and within 90 minutes our plumber arrived. His name was Nate and he did a fantastic job. I have used these folks twice - one for a highly distressing and apocalyptic blockage in which sewage was backing up through all of my drains, and another for a toilet leak and spigot replacement. They were able to come out on the same day (I don't expect this in a non-emergency situation, nor should you, but it was nice), they competently diagnosed the problem, replaced what needed replacing, and counseled me on exactly what they did, pointing out the work and telling me what I can expect going forward. The price on both occasions was absolutely fair. I appreciate their professionalism, integrity, and competence. I don't write too many online reviews but these folks deserve one. Highly recommended. I cannot give enough praise and amazing work done on my sewer pipes by Zac and Alex of Drain Masters of Tucson. These men had to dig a 5 ft hole in my bathroom under the toilet to find a 3 or 4 ft tree root clogging my toilet backing up into the tub! So the dirt went on a tarp on my patio and the root was taken out and all in one day the work was done (a good 8 hours later). So then to my amazement these guys cleaned my entire downstairs of my house from floors to walls to anyplace that could have been affected by the dirty work needed to be done! I am so pleased and relieved and happy with these guys Zac and Alex and Drain Masters (the company) I cannot rate them as high as it goes! This company is very professional and fast responding. I have had issues in the past with them but they were quick to step up and make it right. The issues I had were minor with scheduling but since then like I had stated they have been on top of it, and have been very fast responsive and their team is great the text they sent are always very knowledgeable and professional and have gotten me out of several bines. I would very much recommend this company to anybody. We use them at our courthouse and have nothing but good things to say I appreciate them helping out and I appreciate them fixing the scheduling issue that we have had in the past. They came out to emergency clean a plugged sewer $345 cost! Expensive for 45 mins, but ok, they came on a fri night. A few days later the pipes are clogged again. Got charged again. This is getting quite expensive. They did a video of my pipe and showed me roots they could take out with hydrojet. They recommended Hydrojetting. So I did hydrojetting. Roots removed, but a couple days later the old iron pipe is now broken and has a piece missing. AND the broken section is under the street, so I may be liable for an 18 - 25k repair taking days if not a week. Turns out they videoed after the hydro jet. and the video showed that the pipe was broken then.. But they did not tell me. They should have reviewed the video and told me then so I could have made preperations to fix it quickly. Instead, again, on a Friday, I am stuck unawares with an emergency broken sewer. Now rocks and dirt are falling into the line. I may not be able to do a cheaper re-line now, and may have to do the most expensive thing: tear up the street for new pipe. On top of this, it is a vacation rental and I had to refund my tenants thousands so they could move out on short notice with extra $ on top for their inconvenience. An excellent plumber would warn you that hydrojetting a 90 year old iron pipe can result in breakage. A responsible business would carefully check the video after hydrojetting. A good businees owner would tell me right away about the break in the pipe so it did not become an emergency and result in me having to eject tenants last minute with all the costs and damage to my own business reputation. Now I know and I want to make sure no one else goes thru this. Take advantage of my expensive lesson. Do NOT Agree to get hydrojetting of old iron pipe for roots. Hydrojet can make your pipe fall apart. Use caution with your old pipe. have them cut the roots, and be prepared to do a re-line of your pipe right away if you decide to hydrojet and have very old pipe. Get a company who is experienced in re-lining or trenchless sewer repair. Drainmasters does not seem to know this, but you should. read more

We bought our first home sixteen years ago and started using drain masters within the first month. They are the only plumber we have used since then. They are always courteous on the phone and in person, show up when they say they will, and have never tried to cheat us. Last week they went to a rental property we have. All we knew was that there was a bad smell. We said it could have been the water heater as we know it's old. We said it could have been the charcoal filter thing. Both would have been expensive fixes and we would have believed them. Instead they said we had a backed up drain. A small problem that was quick, easy and cheap to fix. We've been having a problem with our laundry drain overflowing. Had Drainmasters out in August and they cleared the drain but informed me at that time that since my house is of an older vintage the problem was the small diameter pipe (1 1/2 inch). I was told that it would probably be necessary to replace the pipe if the problem recurred. Well, it did. Today, Zach and Ben came to fix that problem. After opening the wall, it was found to be more than expected as the vent was completely unattached and the drain pipe was angled up instead of down or at least level. They took care of it! We were glad that this company was able to come out on a Saturday and unplug our two showers. Because of the way our house was built, they had to access a pipe by cutting a hole in the drywall. This took them about 10 minutes, but they added $390 to the bill for it. In fairness to them, we did approve the fee before they started. After he was done, the plumber mentioned that he was familiar with our kind of house, and so he knew pretty much what to expect. I appreciate their help. I appreciate their knowledge. Have used this company for over a decade, Changed their warranty without notice. They use to guarantee their work for 30 days. NOT ANYMORE Clogged drain - reclogged after 1 1/2 weeks, all they wanted to do was sell me on a $2,000 jet cleaning of my pipes. I had another plumbing issue today. My wife had called roto rooter to come out and get an estimate. After 5 minutes of diagnosing the issue, I was provided an estimate of $717. I asked for a breakdown of the costs and was told the part was $180 and the rest represented 2.5 hours of labor. I thanked them for the estimate and called Drain Masters. They showed up and had my problem fixed for $270. Drain Masters has come through for me twice with very professional service and very reasonable prices.
