These guys are great. We had two emergencies pop up while selling our house, and both times they were able to save us the very same day. Without extra gouging charges for coming out so quickly, either! Both times we had outdoor pipe issues (not related to each other) and Plumb Plumbing fixed both in under an hour. They were courteous and respectful of our time, knowing that we were a week away from selling, and they wrote very detailed reports for that as well. The costs were simply for the hour and a basic truck fee. Extremely reasonable. The issues are still resolved and all is well. I really wish I could give a high rating because I did my research and had very high hopes. We had a couple of small leaks under our kitchen sink and we called Plumb to come out. We were very specific in what was happening and where the leaks were. We even put paper towels down so they could see where the drips were. I didn't feel like the plumber really listened and sure enough, after the repair, the next day we still had a leak. The same guy came out and tried again, still leaking the next day. At this point I was really hoping they'd send someone else but nope, they sent the same guy and after putting a crap load of sealant around the sinks and the faucet, (something I could have done if that was the issue), you guessed it, we still have a leak. My landlord contacted this company because a vacant unit in our five Plex was spewing water from the roof. I was used as the point of contact since my unit holds the water shut off valve and the entry to the roof. Mind you I'm very cognizant of what I have in my yard, where my animals are, as well as the animal excrement that I dispose of, throughout the day, I was kind enough to leave my gate unlocked for their dispatcher James. When James left, I went outside and noticed there were smeared dog poop on my front entryway --again I know for a fact there was no dog feces in any area that he would have neede to be in. I also noticed that where he stepped , was dog poo on every piece of my walkway. I pulled the camera video and saw that he jumped down from his ladder. Did something to his shoe and slammed his shoe on my front entryway smearing dog poop multiple times --he then proceeded to look at the camera and look back as he walked away, leaving dog poop on every step. We were home during his departure so if he did happen to get dog poop on his shoe, why not knock on my door to let me know so that I could assist you with getting it off of your foot and not leaving it on my entryway. He should be ashamed of himself with how he handled that. Luckily, he called me several hours before and I had his phone number so when I called and confirmed that he was the dispatcher to my home and asked him about the dog poop, He said he didn't know how that would've happened but when I confronted him and told him that I had him on camera, He got belligerent and loud and hung up on me. I contacted his office early this morning and still I'm waiting for a manager to call me back after I sent them both videos showing the offense. My landlord is fully aware of what this company did and I asked him never to hire this company to come back to my property or James and I will have a completely different conversation. I don't know what kind of inconsiderate and incompetent people work here, but clearly they don't have common decency. Beware!!! They were called for an estimate that was no charge at our elderly parents home. Joe the technician arrived and looked under the sink, and above the sink, no equipment was used and nothing was taken apart! He then made suggestions on what needed to be done and charged my in-laws 120.00, not explaining what it was for. After receiving the estimate, we called the technician back and asked if that 120.00 would be deducted from the the total and the response was "no, that's a different animal", that fee was for his professional opinion. We then stated that we would inform the POA and she would follow up. When she called and asked for the service manager he was not available, but did return the call. Shane stated that it would not be deducted because the technician had removed the pipe so therefore it became a service call. As stated above absolutely no work was done, and at no time was it mentioned that if work was done, the "free estimate" would become a service call and there would be a fee. My in-laws are 98 and 93 and very trusting of people, thank goodness their son was there the whole time the technician was there, so he knew exactly what was and wasn't done. He also called Shane, after getting the info from his sister and this time Shane was pleasant and said they would refund the 120.00. If you choose to use Plumb Plumbing and the technician is Joe, don't let him in!!! We are thoroughly disgusted that a company who has been in business 27yrs, would be so dishonest and attempt to rip off the elderly. They need to educate the clerk that schedules appointments and also hire technicians that are trustworthy!! read more

We hired them for our plumbing inspection when purchasing our home. We did everything they advised. Three days after moving in, sewage poured out of a secondary blowout that they didn't inspect. Someone had stuck a beer can in the line. When we called them they said not our problem, not our fault, not our job/responsibility to check all sewer lines in home inspection. They were condescending and very rude to my wife, like stereotypical sexist tradesmen. If you want a company that takes pride in and stands behind their work and offers respectful customer service, look elsewhere. read more

Had a broken hot water line under the house pad. Contacted Cummings and Plumb. Plumb had best price and great reviews. Crew looked a bit rough but extremely well mannered and respectful of our home. Most importantly, they knew what they were doing. Re-plumbed the entire house in 3 days of 100 plus temps in attic. Moved whatever needed moving and cleaned up each night. What scored the most with me is they were on time, worked hard and fixed anything plumbing related with all new parts. Came across a few minor things that needed attention after re-plumb and they immediately had service guy out to fix. No arguing or trying to squeeze extra money out of additional small fixes. If it was plumbing, they fixed it as part of the service without discussion. Went extra distance to be helpful. I could not be happier with their "make the customer happy" attitude. I don't easily write online reviews, but I feel completely ripped off by Plumb Plumbing, so here we go. My toilet was running to the extent that my water bill went up. I am not a plumber, so I call Plumb plumbing. One of their plumbers comes over and puts all new hardware (plunger etc.) in my existing toilet and charges me 200 USD for it. a month later, my toilet is running again: problem not fixed. I call Plumb plumbing again, another guy comes and tells me that I will need a new toilet, that the problem is not the hardware of the toilet, but a leak further down. So Plumb Plumbing charged me 200 USD to 'fix' a toilet that was beyond fixing - they are plumbers, they should know this - and then charges me another 120 USD (!) to tell me what they did before was useless and that I need a new toilet. This is a rip off. And they are not answering the phone for me to voice my complaint. You give me no choice but to complain on yelp. I found someone else to install my new toilet, thank you very much. read more

I recently called Plumb Plumbing to fix a few items in my kitchen. I was checking underneath the kitchen sink after the plumber had finished, and I noticed that the base board in the cabinet (where he had been working) was broken. I asked the plumber about it, and he admitted that it had broken while he was working. This was odd, the guy was not going to tell me that he broke it until I noticed something. Anyways, I had the plumber call his boss, because if a worker breaks something, I feel they or their company should replace it. The boss took a look at the broken base board and determined that because it was not plywood (the correct type of material in his opinion), he would not be replacing it. I told him that the type of material is irrelevant. What is important, as I explained to him, is that companies have integrity and do the right thing. I told him quite clearly that he could do the right thing by having his company fix the base board which was broken by one of his employees, or do the wrong thing by doing nothing. He responded by telling me he would not fix it. Plumb Plumbing has shown a lack of integrity by treating a customer this way. I will personally never reach out to them again for any future work, and would recommend that anyone reading this do the same. read more

This review is for Plumb Plumbing located in Tucson Arizona. The owner and staff are professional, knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. I obtained 3 bids and their bid was in the middle. I hired them because of their presentation and detailed estimate. I had them repipe 2 houses to remove all polybutylene piping. Their work is efficient and they completed both houses in a timely manner. One house was done in 2010 and the other house in 2012. The service quality was the same. I do not recommend this company. They repiped my house. Now there is knocking in the walls when the water is turned on and off. The cold water is hot in the summer and the hot water cold in winter. Low water flow. Fixtures were left loose and not properly attached to inner wall. These issues were not corrected after a service tech came out to inspect. read more

From start to finish this was one of the best services we've ever received. Joey came out to give us an estimate and walked us through how the process of changing out our polybutylene pipes would proceed. Joey was very thorough and answered all of our questions - and as it turned he was very accurate in his descriptions - no surprises. The installers worked as a very efficient team. I believe Ray was the name of the lead. They did a great deal of prep work - lots of taping and covering areas etc. They were very considerate and also very tidy after their work days- to make sure everything was cleaned up. We decided to go with their dry wall contractor - he too was efficient and did a great job. Vicki and Amber in the office were extremely attentive when I had made some calls regarding the scheduling of each process along the way. I had also spoken with Steve, the owner, who had helped me with some questions I had regarding our dishwasher - and he too wanted to make sure we were thoroughly pleased with the installation once the job was completed. Not thrilled with how fulfilled their promise to "take care of everything" for my elderly mother, who paid them top dollar for their incomplete services. They opened the walls in several areas of her home, to replace plumbing. They provided a paper that says wall repairs will be made within 5 days, but wrote it as an exclusion in the contract. Very misleading. They want to charge you additionally to repair the walls. Who does business like this? They provide an over the phone "estimate" without checking the scope of the project onsight, and that becomes the contracted amount, not an "estimate" at all. Again, who does business like that? Their final invoice lacks breakdown of materials, labor, etc. Make sure that they turn your hot water heater back on, and turn your water back on to your house before they leave, or you will have to call them back out to finish their job.... read more

I've had a reoccurring problem for the last year where my toilet randomly floods my bathroom. Had about 8 plumbers come out in the last year and a half and none of them have every solved the real problem. Yesterday Joe came to look at my toilet since it was doing the same thing again. He was the first person to ever take apart the toilet and figure out what was going on directly underneath. He had managed to pull pounds of gunk and tree roots out of my pipes! He replaced parts and was patient and nice throughout the whole experience. Unfortunately I'm moving next week, but at least I get to enjoy a stress free toilet for a week! read more

We always get three bids for any contracted work. Plumb Plumming had a fair price and seemed to be the most knowledgeable. We had our house repiped and their bid also included the drywall repair which the others did not. We were on a time crunch to get the job completed and they accommodated us and completed the repair with time to spare. The repipe was completed in eight days and that included a weekend and waiting on the inspector. Repipe and drywall was completed in four days. The workers and office staff were all professional and easy to work with. We are extremely happy with Plumb Plumbing and will recommend them to everyone. read more

I recently had Plumb Plumbing come to my house to replumb it. The house is an older house built in 1955, double-course brick walls. It was expanded two times since the 50's, both in double-course brick. So, needless to say... Getting through the "interior" walls can be difficult in places where it used to be an outside wall. Plumb was able to retrofit this house with ease. They replaced the old galvanized plumbing with Wiersbo Aquapex, an industry standard. I had them run a whole new line from the water main. They brought out a trenching machine to cut through my asphault driveway to lay the new line. The plumbing work took a total of two days. In day one they hooked one of my bathrooms up to insure we had water for that evening. In day two the entire plumbing job had been finished... 1 kitchen, surrounded by brick walls, in which they went from the Aquapex to copper for any lines that had to be exposed. I had them run a copper water supply for hot and cold behind my refrigerator - the only real way to do it since it was surrounded mostly by double-course brick walls. They ran the lines behind my refrigerator and then in the back my cabinets so that nothing that is exposed shows. This was probably the most difficult area in the house to replumb - in the other areas they were able to cut holes in the plaster-finished wall to run the pipes inside the wall to areas that needed a new supply. They did not run any "exposed" pipes on the outside, so the finished product looks like a neat "professional" install. They did a total of 1 full bath, a 1/2 bath, one kitchen, and ONLY a cold water line to a 3/4 bath... which is in an area of the house that had newish (70's) copper plumbing. They needed to run the new cold line due to the way the house had been built - when this area was designed the cold run was brought to that bathroom from the outside in a trench. Only Plumb found this potential problem, and since they discovered it before starting work it was accounted for in the plan. I had 4 plumbers quote this job, and Plumb were the only ones that discovered that issue... They were the second I called, and I waited for the others to find the issue but they did not notice. There was one provider who quoted the job cheaper than Plumb Plumbing, but since no one else seemed observant enough to find that issue for the 3/4 bath I decided that Plumb was the right company for the job. It took a little while longer to repair the walls, as the sub-contractor they hired to do the work was busy after the plumbing install. Once they arrived (Dimension Drywall), however, they were able to match the texture for all the walls that had been cut into for installation of new plumbing. In addition to the plumbing work, I also had them install a 3M Aqua Pure charcoal/sediment filter in-line before coming into the house. This may prevent the build-up that I suspect occurred in the old system, causing a severe lack of water pressure inside the house. This is the symptom that prompted the replumbing job, as it had just been getting worse and worse for the last 10 years... The water pressure is AMAZING now. I put in a new showerhead that wouldn't have been possible without the additional pressure. Also additionally to the house work, I had them install a new water supply in the front yard (line had to be laid under existing asphault as well...). I decided to hook up the backyard plumbing myself. PERHAPS I could have done it myself, but not as fast and not as nice. These guys know what they are doing, and they will do an excellent job. read more

Here are the pros and cons: Pros: - Affordable pricing for repipes - Have large crews that can repipe your house in a day - Get all their work permitted and inspected - Detailed, professional estimates emailed to you - Do a lot of total repipes in Tucson - Using best brand of PEX pipes and fittings - Can include drywall repair, which most plumbers don't include Cons: - You get what you pay for - Crew was young and inexperienced - Anything unusual flummoxed them - Some things were done improperly or not done at all. - The owner Steve was rude. Bottom line...if you are a real estate investor or if you are planning to sell your home, these guys will give you a permitted repipe for cheap. If you plan to actually live in the house they repipe, I suggest you keep searching, especially if you live in an order house with more complex plumbing issues. read more
