My door was broken a while back. I was moving out of my apartment and needed the door fixed. I got a quote, and they were at my place a few days later. It was like it never happened. They even matched the paint, outside and inside the frame. I had gotten a quote somewhere else that told me the whole frame and door had to be replaced. With RC I got an easier solution and a faster fix for a lot less money. Hopefully it never happens again, but if my door gets broken open I know who to call. read more

1 star. We hired Response Crew to install baseboards on the promise that the job would be finished in two days, Thursday and Friday. That timeline was the entire reason we chose them -- my wife is 38 weeks pregnant and we needed the house put back together before the baby arrives. The assessment took under three minutes. Once I mentioned I would be purchasing all the materials myself, that was apparently enough to commit to the schedule. Day one: the first worker arrived an hour late, the second arrived two hours after him. I had already moved all the furniture myself to save them time. I asked them to tell me when to clear the master bedroom; they told me to do it right then because they were almost there. I moved everything, and they immediately announced they were done for the day. I moved it all back so we would have one livable room. Day two: I took the day off work to be there and coordinate. Fifteen minutes before the start of the arrival window, they called to reschedule. The owner's first offer was the following Friday -- a full week later. On the phone he said Wednesday and promised to call me back in ten minutes to confirm. He never called. He emailed my wife instead. The offer eventually became Monday. We hired an independent handyman who came out the next morning, a Saturday, and finished the job. We told Response Crew in writing that we would pay for the labor they actually completed. The invoice they sent charged us for materials we bought ourselves at Lowe's. We have the receipts, which were sent to the owner, and he acknowledged them by email -- while also saying he would refund us "if" we bought them and that he was not in a position to check. We are disputing the charge. A guaranteed two-day job became an open-ended one. Direct communication became evasive. And we were billed for materials we paid for out of our own pocket. I would not hire them again and I would not recommend them. read more

We hired the Response Crew (Tucson) to install baseboards for my daughter and son-in-law's home. Our daughter is having a baby anytime, so we wanted a company that would be willing to install the baseboards quickly. My daughter called Response Crew, and let them know the situation. The owner, Yigal, said they were free all week and could install them right away. He had someone come over and assess the job. He then scheduled two employees for a an 8 hr day Thursday, and Friday for 3 hours to finish up. Yigal informed my son-in-law his employees did not want to return on Friday. The owner also informed my daughter and son-in-law, he should not have taken the job and informed them he would not finished until the following Friday. He said he had other jobs to do, but yet he told them he was free all week. He then charged them for baseboards which my daughter and son-in-law already purchased from Lowe's ahead of time. I spoke to Yigal, asking him if they would please finish installation. He was extremely rude and informed me he did not want to finish the job. He told me he had to move three other jobs to finish the installation and they should hire someone else. This company is extremely unprofessional. I would not recommend them. They were fast to respond and came to house to look at my support porch corbel that was separating. They advised that they could do the job and estimated 2-3 hours with a minimum of 230.00 for 2 hours and then 115.00 for anything over that. The technician did set up and then advised that it was out of their scope, I was very glad that he did evaluate and saw that he could not do the job! BUT then I received a call from their office and was told I had to pay for 1 hour of SERVICE! They looked, they bid, they showed up, they set up, did nothing else but I had to pay due to their mistake!! It was not my fault that it was out of their scope! Be very careful with them this was wrong! They came and looked before the bid and did not do the work and I had to pay for NOTHING!! read more

We needed a ceiling light fan installed on our vaulted, sloped ceiling. I put in a request over the weekend and Response Crew was the only business that provided a quote and scheduled time the next day. The price was very fair. Kelly was very courteous, highly competent, and did the job efficiently and just the way we needed. The manager was very communicative over text and phone, on scheduling and follow up. Well, we had our Air Conditioning units replaced and in running new wire and replacing attic entrances, had damaged Sheetrock and texture that then needed to be repaired. Our air conditioning company said that they would take care of it. About a week later, Response Crew was scheduled. The Handyman (David), called to let me know that he was on the way. That's a good start! He showed up in about 15 minutes. David was very friendly and gladly agreed to repair all of the items that I brought to his attention. My concern was that the skip-trowel texture match what was in my home. David said he could handle it and went right to work. He placed plastic on our floor to protect our home and in about 15 minutes fIat, was done. I am pleased with the friendly, professional and competent work accomplished by Response Crew and would use them in the future. The air conditioning service that I dealt with was top notch and I beleive they contracted the Sheetrock work out to a company that they beleived would provide the same level of service. They did! I found this company through yelp after receiving quotes 2x as much from other companies to fix a hole in my ceiling due to a leak. What a great company - responsive, professional and very clear about their prices. Kelly completed a to do list for us with efficiency, thoroughness and checked each item off the list when he completed it. After returning from travel and realizing I left the house keys and garage opener in the car (Ubered to and from the airport), I had to kick in the front door in the middle of night to get into the house. Everyone else I called gave me an appointment to come look at the door two weeks out, and then another appointment to repair it. When I contacted Response Crew Handyman, they came out 24-48 hours later and then immediately fixed the door frame within 2 hours which was under the estimated time.
