Neighbor notice water spraying out of my side roof. I called Affordable Plumbing and they came out that day. Marco fixed that leak in my wall pipe, luckily no damage. When outside turning off the water to where the main waterpipe and pressure valve was he noticed the whole system was completely rusted through. He quoted me an excellent price (I checked of course) and a couple of days later, he replaced the pipe, pressure valve, new water nozzle and reconnected my irrigation system. I just thru them OUT! All they wanted to do is charge me for a re-pipe or running new lines. They didn't even try to blow out the existing lines. Serge, the worker, came out on time and was super friendly and communicative. I felt really comfortable with their COVID precautions and Serge got the job done quickly and efficiently. I liked his collaborative approach, so that we don't create future issues. I learned how important it is to flush every single time for urine in this hard water region, or you can create "human caliche" deposits. On Saturday morning, I heard a strange noise coming from the laundry room and garage area. Water flowing in the walls could also be heard which was really scary. I turned the water off at the main, called this business and was told that they were really busy but would send someone to check it out. Serge arrived at my house in under two hours. In about five minutes, he figured out that the noise was the water softener "regenerating". The water noise was the water emptying into the washer drain pipe in the laundry room. Apparently this is normal and happens on a regular basis. Serge charged NOTHING for his service call. They have me as a customer for life. DON'T CALL ANYONE ELSE!!!! read more

Up until my recent experience with Affordable Plumbing, I felt they were competent and could get the job done. I am now completely disillusioned in their service at this point!! Previously, I purchased a water heater from Angelo and about a year ago, I needed to call a plumber to address a leak issue under my brick driveway. A plumber came out and took care of the driveway leak and I have had NO issues with these exterior plumbing problems since. More recently, however, I had asked Affordable Plumbing to come to my home to address a pooling of water outside my exterior privacy wall. Two plumbers were sent to find the leak and repair it. Prior to the two plumbers arrival, another plumber briefly came out to assess what needed to be done to repair this exterior pipe "leak". A week later, Affordable sent two plumbing techs to "fix" the outside pipe leak. About 45 minutes following their arrival they notified me that they could NOT fix my exterior plumbing problem because I had a septic tank.!! They presented me with a bill for $645. & told me I needed to call a septic company. I was upset. I begrudgingly wrote a check for this amount to Affordable Plumbing, but felt it was completely an unjust charge!! NOTHING had been fixed and I now was being told I needed to call a Septic service!! Over $2000. later, I have a fully repaired septic tank, but I still am paying for repair of a problematic leach field. MY main issues are the monies I was charged by Affordable Plumbing for not fixing anything!! I've had a couple friends call me for advice on a good Plumbing service & I have steered them away from Angelo at Affordable. Sergio showed up a few minutes early and gave us a quote for the work. His work ethic was rock solid. He said "I like to get it done..." and he did. DO NOT - I REPEAT - DO NOT USE THIS PLUMBING COMPANY. They are a complete joke. The owner acts like a child and shows no respect to his customers. Unfortunately we have had them out twice. The first time they left our shower unusable because the faucet no longer worked on the hot setting. Stupidly, we had another job we needed done and hoped they would rectify that at the same time as working in our other bathroom to fix a leak. They fixed the first problem they created AT OUR EXPENSE, and then proceeded to walk in my other bathtub in shoes and walk dirt all over my house. It gets better. They charged us 500 bucks because the plumber said the faucet was calcified and he cried like a baby saying the job was "so hard wah wah wah." I told him we all have jobs that are hard sometimes. He didn't stop crying though as apparently being a plumber is too hard for him. We called the owner of the company who actually said, on speaker, that we weren't worth the argument. So his business isn't worth leaving the customer satisfied so he shouldn't care too much about this awful review. I SAVED THE BEST TIL LAST. The plumber admitted out loud we were paying for a job that wasn't finished because he didn't have the right part. MY HUSBAND ACTUALLY DROVE TO THE OWNER'S HOUSE, PICKED UP THE PART AND INSTALLED IT HIMSELF SINCE CRY BABY DIDN'T OFFER TO GO GET IT HIMSELF EVEN THOUGH THE MANAGER LIVES FIVE MINUTES AWAY. ALL THIS AFTER PAYING 478 bucks. It was that or leave the job unfinished for four to five days while they wait for the part to ship from Amazon. Also because cry baby plumber kept whining about how he HAD ANOTHER JOB HE HAD TO GET TO AT AN APARTMENT COMPLEX WHERE HE HAS TO TURN THE WATER OFF." You can't make this stuff up. Is my husband naive and foolish - obviously, but is unaffordable plumbing scamming folks? Yes to that too. The two cartridges they replaced retail for 17 bucks each on Amazon. CRY BABY TOLD US THEY WERE 200 BUCKS EACH AND THAT THEY WERE DOING US A HUGE FAVOR BECAUSE OTHER PLUMBING COMPANIES WOULD CHARGE MORE AND/OR REFUSE TO TAKE ON SUCH A CHALLENGING JOB AS A CALCIFIED FAUCET. I very recently purchased my home. Not long after, my toilets had been doing a gurgling thing and weren't flushing well. Water had come up in my backyard. I had tried using my home warranty company, however the company they sent out had done a "courtesy snaking" job and said my main line would need to be repaired. I was freaked out because that is not an easy or cheap thing to do. Because of the notes from the plumber, my home warranty wouldn't cover for them to come back. I reached out to my home insurance company and found out plumbing is basically never covered. After multiple unsuccessful attempts to get more information and a quote from the company that had initially came out through my home warranty, my plumbing issue got worse again. Between both Facebook and Nextdoor recommendations, I had been told to try Affordable Plumbing. I called on a Sunday night expecting to leave a message, but Angelo answered. We had a solid conversation about the issue and possible diagnosis's and got the soonest next appointment. By this point, I was already very frustrated and overwhelmed with the situation, but from the phone call alone, I had a good feeling about it. Mike was phenomenal! He showed up wearing a mask and kept it on for the entire time he worked. Mike took 4 hours to thoroughly unclog the multiple issues throughout the mainline (roots, cloth, bags). We used cameras, and addressed every visible issue. I was shown that my mainline is in decent shape and does not need to be repaired. Mike took the time to properly fix my plumbing issues and made sure that he left me with functioning plumbing. He didn't cut corners and took the time to get it right. I sat and talked with him while he worked. He kept me informed, would show me what he was looking at on the cameras, answered questions, and put my mind at ease. My entire experience with Affordable Plumbing was everything you could hope for from a company. They definitely live up to their name, and do so in a respectable and integrable way. I wanted to replace three very old toilets in our home with new more efficient toilets. I called Affordable Plumbing and their fee structure was explained to me and we set up a date. Marco and his crew showed up on time and removed the old toilets and replaced them with the new ones I had purchased and had on site. They had to scrape off some old grout that had been used to place the old toilets. They installed the new toilets, shimmed them up level and place a very neat caulk line around the base. They did not make a mess (no water everywhere) and cleaned up the area afterward.
