If you and Delco stop by and have a great time and great food. During the entire summer with the last day being Halloween there was entertainment every weekend and good entertainment. Live performances and great DJs. It's something for everyone no matter what genre of music do you enjoy it goes from serious is old-school Righteous Brothers , Motown, Moody Blues, Lynyrd Skynyrd to soft hip-hop. It's mixed in really nicely. A place for the very grown and sexy from EVERYWHERE! The decor is traditional Italian restaurant with a small but nice waiting area. A bar and dining tables that gives you the feel of visiting Rome. The staff is friendly. Although they are shortstaffed things running pretty smoothly with everybody pitching in to help to make sure you have a great experience. As for the food? Delicious and pocketbook friendly! Wings-VERY GOOD PIROGIES-OMG so good who's Matka is in the kitchen sooooo good Italian Clams-a must Surf and Turf Filet Mignon with a lobster tail- Yes they can do it all. My new go to spot. Looking at past reviews and considering my experience, I think this place probably deserves a 4 star average review. My experience was a 5 star. The ones that I browsed that were lower than 4, it seems like they basically complained about bad service (if they were doing so in 2020 or 2021, they might not have considered that the pandemic caused there to be places that don't have enough workers to staff the establishment) or they ordered cheaper items like pizzas which I sense Romarco's is not as good at. A friend and I decided to try out the Tiki bar. There was room and it was outdoors and hip! Our meal came with bread. We had garlic bread which was alright, but it was too much like the complimentary bread. Maybe we should've asked for some cheese on the garlic bread. Fried Mozzarella, salad, and calamari were on-point. Lemonade was good and Scallops were good. I wanted scallops but didn't want to eat too much. So it was a good portion size for me. Definitely expensive! The meatballs look good- probably should've ordered that appetizer. The fettucine we had as a side instead of the spaghetti wasn't particularly good- but I'm guessing and hoping that the actual entree would be a lot better. The friend I was with agreed with me on this point. We had a male waiter who had a lot of people but he was nice enough to talk to us a bit after our meal to let us know that they do karaoke and that we could consider coming back for their side events. We weren't asked about dessert, but my friend and I were more than full anyway. I saw someone who looked like the owner who was just sitting around. I think I was there on a Saturday night about 4 PM. Considering that it seemed like the staff needed help, maybe should've been trying to help out more hands-on if he could. First time here, went for lunch the mozzarella wedges and salad were just fine for an appetizer. The spinach ravioli according to my husband was bland. We both agreed the meatballs we're fantastic and the pasta was fresh. Waitress we had today was very good to us. So the big problem? I hated the sauce! I know!! I love Italian food...love....but this sauce was salty and vinegary tasting. It was so overwhelming we kept asking if we could get meatballs WITHOUT sauce! I could barely eat my pasta, I scraped off the sauce. I'm hoping this was a fluke? The prices for lunch are not bad. Trying to decide if I would go back but I'm not sure! read more

My daughter and I arrived at 5:35 pm. We left at 6:25 pm. By that time, we were still not waited on except for water, soda and bread that was over toasted (burnt on the ends). Went here several weeks ago with my father. Decor is casual but not sloppy. Has a neighborhood mom and pop feel to it. The main restaurant area has a bar to the left, and then seating to the right, with a back area that has about 7-8 tables overlooking the creek area and tiki bar (which was closed, as we went there during cold weather). Tables were comfortable. Booths looked a little tight, if one is larger, but we sat at a table, so were comfortable. We were able to be seated at 6:30 on a Saturday night even with no reservation. The food was excellent. I ordered an appetizer special that consited of Mushroom caps stuffed with crab meat. The filling was perfectly executed and the crab was evident; it did not seem like it had much if any filler. For my entree, I had Luigi's Fettuccini - sauteed prosciutto and fresh peas in a vodka rosa gorgonzola sauce over homemade fettuccini, and it did not disappoint. The pasta was perfectly al dente, the sauce flavorful without being too salty, and the portion size was big enough for me to take home enough for a lunch the following day. The staff were friendly. The hostess who sat us treated us like family, even though it was my first time there. The bus-girl was polite andattentive with things like water and bread. Our waitress was not bad, but a little slow to come to our table, especially on a night that it wasn't super crowded. Not enough to turn us off, just enough to notice. Will definitely return to this place. Perhaps because locals were used to it as Tommy's place, a neighborhood tavern in it's past life, it wasn't super crowded, so I'd classify it as a hidden gem. read more

Ok Here's the breakdown: the place is kind of cute, but the enjoyment ended there. We stood in the doorway and were ignored for the first 10 minutes. I finally had to asked the kid who was being trained if we could sit down. The bar was full. The restaurant was empty. And I think I know why. According to other reviewers, Remarcos supposedly pours good drinks. This is so you will be too drunk to notice the food, which was abysmal in every respect, except for the scallops. First. They gave us pathetic wonder type bread, low quality oil, the smallest and worst salad I've ever had in my life and a soaking in grease fried shrimp appetizer with a sickly sweet dipping sauce that tasted like pure high fructose corn syrup. I ordered the scallops with the sauce on the side. Thank God for that because the sauce was rich and they served it in what look like a soup bowl on the side if that had been dumped on the scallops, they would've been inedible. Scallops them selves were large and fresh but they were oily and they were only four of them -yes four of them!!!! for $27. The waitress was not friendly, not attentive, and looked at me like I was insane when I asked if there were any specials. my husband got the crab cakes. They were passing but the potatoes and vegetables that came with were also dripping in oil -trust me nothing in that place is healthy. Hubby got a piece of cheesecake for dessert. Dense, not light, not homemade Overall service was extremely slow, had to ask for a refill and wait for it. By the time I got it I was finished my dinner OS I did not eat the pasta side, which tasted like burnt garlic. I'm sorry, don't tell me how Italian you are and then don't treat people like family and don't cook things with love and ignore people when they're at your door- that's not how Italians roll. The tiki bar downstairs is really fun on the days that it's open. Unfortunately it's not open more days. Drinks are cheap and the staff is really awesome. This was my third time there, I really go just for the atmosphere at the tiki bar. I usually try a few different appetizers in hopes that they have upped their food game, but I am always very disappointed with what I order. In all honesty, the food is terrible. Clams Casino, small and chewy. The pizza was absolutely positively pathetic. It's so clearly's frozen pizza of some sort, everyone agreed that the pizza at Chuck E. Cheese would be better and yeah that's trash too! Sauce is sweet for some reason, the crust was just Doughy, and the cheese sad. I really want this place to turn it's food around and into the modern age! There is so much potential at a location like this, but everything is so severely out of date on that menu. I did live in Italy for six years, so I do have a very good idea of what good Italian food should be like and I also realize how difficult that can be to find in the United States. However if you can't even make a decent pizza, you should not call yourself an Italian restaurant in anyway shape or form. read more

Went on Saturday with a table of four. When we walked in we were told "I'm the hostess waitress and bartender great person Kelly but terrible service we ordered drinks had to wait another half hour to oder apps and dinners. My friends ordered apps and my daughter and I ordered dinners. There were four tables inside outside looked more crowded We got apps and then got dinners no salads when she dropped dinners off I mentioned it to her and she said do u want salad with dinners. Never got them. Now there were two including us in dining room. I got the veal which was so tough if u can't do veal plates don't put it on the menu. It's in my crock pot now getting tender. The service was okay, not bad. But the food was not good, to put this in the nicest way. The Cajun pasta is not Cajun pasta, like not at all. It really taste like bacon. I must admit the appetizers were cool, so I'll give one star. They should stick to serving drinks and appetizers, everyone else I was with's food was mid(not good). My husband and I came to this bar to have a quick drink a few months ago. I have never been here, so I figured that it wouldn't hurt to give it a try. Pros: 1) The whole place is beautiful. It looks amazing inside. 2) The bartender was very nice and attentive. 3) The people there aren't your typical loud, rowdy young adults that you see in most delco bars. 4) It is a restaurant AND bar. 5) It has a very homey vibe to it. Cons: 1) Refer to #3. Even though this bar doesn't have drunken adults running around, the demographic is generally between 45+. It's just not the kind of bar that young adults would normally go to. 2) With that said, this bar isn't the type of bar to go to if you are trying to watch a sports game. The atmosphere is just not a sports kind of atmosphere. My husband felt like he couldn't yell at the game because no one else was yelling, or even watching the game for that matter. 3) The bar is full of regulars. Granted, all of the people there were super nice and welcoming to my husband and I. However, if you visit here one time, you pretty much know whose going to be there every single night or weekend. In all, this bar is okay. Take this review for what it is. My husband and I didn't try the food, so we really only know what the bar portion of the restaurant is like. Ummm Romarco's.....you know you are in Clifton Height, right? Ok because I was just wondering since your menu prices are from a nicer zip code (Oh don't be insulted Clifton Heights, you know what you are)....and I wouldn't normally mind if you paid for what you got, but alas, your food is not tasty.... We went for two appetizers and then each of us ordered a traditional italian entree. The one app, fried mozzarella was good, though it is hard to mess up fried cheese...the other app was a mushroom stuffed with spinach and red peppers topped with blue cheese....not tasty. Both entrees were ok and edible, but not anything special. I can't believe I am saying this, but I have had better at the Olive Garden, and I don't like the Olive Garden....I had the Chicken Marsala and my dude had the Veal Parm...I could have made them better....service was ok...and I had a big bug fall onto the table when we were waiting for our meals....gross... Oh and I tried their italian brunch one time, and it was a sad offering of many egg dishes with just different italian ingredients...oh well.... read more

There new addition puts some other seafood places to shame.. Wink wink clam tavern. The staff is friendly and speedy. I will definitely be back. A must try is the mozzerela sticks(moons) and bam bam shrimp/ crab cakes. I decided to get take out from here since the clam tavern told me they were too busy to do a take out dinner for me??? Who does that? Anyways, the inside was super cute, warm, and cozy. I will definitely be back to eat there. I got mussels in red sauce to go and they were pretty good! Not as big as the clam taverns but a decent size. They were sort of expensive at $9.75 but I was craving them. Another thing that I liked was how friendly they were on the phone. SHAMEFUL!! The waitress was fine. Not super, but nice and knowledgeable. The food... was horrible. We went on a Sunday, at about 5.30 pm. I called ahead, as we were a last minute party of 10. I was told to come straight over and when we arrived our table was ready. We ordered many different things, dinners, sandwiches, appetizers. Some of the food was adequate. Average restaurant frozen apps. The food, at best, was average. The veal was inedible. My husband sent his parmigiana back with one bite taken out of it. The waitress left his potatoes and veggies when she took back his veal. My daughter tasted it and ate a few beans. The check came. They charged us for my hubbys potato and veggie. Almost$5.00. I was floored. They were so intent on getting that $5.00 and totally unconcerned about my husbands meal. I will never go there again, and I intend on telling all my friends. My father dined at Romarco's regularly; he often treated friends and family to a night out at Romarco's. So when it came time to plan his funeral luncheon, we immediately thought of Romarco's. I was impressed by the professionalism and compassion with which the management and staff at Romarco's treated my family. Lou made himself available to me for questions by giving me his cell number. He helped me plan the menu and allowed us to add a dish (Chicken de Mere) that's not typically on their banquet menu. When the day came, the food was fantastic. The first thing I noticed was that my meal was hot. At other banquets and/or luncheons I've often found the food to be closer to room temperature, but my dish came out perfectly prepared, hot, and delicious. Our guests complimented us on our choice of location throughout the afternoon. So if you're looking to hold a luncheon after a family event, remember Romarco's. Great food, great parking, great service. They'll always be number one in my book! read more

Would I go back to Romarcos? HELL YES! I'm not a big fan of such places as I don't care for Seafood or Veal, or some of the other things they use/have. Though I would go back because the service is good, the owners are very friendly, the pumpkin ravioli is bangin (When it's there, seasonally) and to order the Gnocchi with blackened chicken? SOLD! I think I could eat that every day of the week for the rest of my life. Prices aren't as bad as some people are making it seem. Yes, it's in Clifton Heights, but some of us in the Heights like things other than the Dollar Menu! It's not like 8 other towns nearby can't drive there within minutes either. I recommend it! I had just moved back to town and wanted to try something new, didn't want to go to the clam Tavern. I had remembered this place and told my dinner date it would be great. It was. I love the look of this restaurant. It's very cute Italian. decorate just right for fall. If you get seated in the back you can have dinner with a view till the sun sets. The menu was large with a great variety the specials were even appetizing to hear. I started with the crab bisque which was excellent. My entree was the lobster fra Diablo which was the right amount of spiciness and was very good there was a lot g heat to it, I could not finish it but it was very good. My dinner date had the special of the stuff shells with meatballs and sausage he loved the stuff shells and the meatballs the sausage he could do without but he's not a sausage man he, finished every last bit of it. Romarco's is a definitely a restaurant that needs to be ventured. The remodel of the place looks excellent. Our hostess was very polite and our waitress Angel was more than outstanding. Their clams are a fantastic appetizer and their fettucini pasta and crab cakes were just as good. The atmosphere has a nice vibe to it. Stopped in here on a whim with some coworkers. I'm usually not one to ever go to Italian restaurants because they are just so dang expensive. Why is it that Italian food is so dang expensive?? Anyway, we ended up getting a number of appetizers and entrees to share amongst us. I ended up getting two appetizers (which together were still cheaper than most of the entrees). I got the fried hot peppers and the buffalo chicken dip. The fried hot pepper were really disappointing. I guess I thought they would be breaded like jalapeno poppers but instead they were just fried in a ton of oil. I wasn't really happy with them at all. On the other hand, the buffalo chicken dip was INCREDIBLE! I would definitely go back to this place just for that dip. It came with little bread rounds and was very cheesy. The flavor was just magnificent. The entrees that I tried were just fine. Nothing really blew me away for as expensive as they were but I guess that's pretty typical for Italian places and I frankly am just not the biggest fan of Italian food. We had our son and daughter in law's rehearsal dinner here They placed the tables outside by the tiki bar, decorated them with flowers. The atmosphere was awesome, all our food was Great We had chicken Parm vegetable medley, roast beef sandwichs and pasta. They had our food inside set up along with coffee and dessert on the side.
