I visited Bertucci's yesterday evening and it was horrible. My server was a nice young lady, but she first brought out the wrong salad. That was rectified quickly, next my pasta was supposed to have shrimp, instead there was chicken. She offered to have it remade but after the restaurant not having any prosseco champagne, peach schnapps's, dirty silverware and having the wrong food given to me once I couldn't take it. Servers are great, they are attentive and really seemed to care about your dining experience :) Food is consistently delicious, staff are always polite and friendly, lots of good deals with weekly specials and coupons. I gave Bertucci another chance, and oh my, did they totally mess that up. Walked in at 6, ordered right away. At 6.20 waitress mentioned food was coming soon. It didn't. We left at 7pm. Hungry. We use to come here often but the quality of the food has diminished. I ordered lasagna and it came out cold. The server must have been new she forgot to bring us our drinks. We came back here on a whim because I received a coupon that expired today. Even with the coupon the experience was very underwhelming. read more

Had an issue with meal we ordered on Saturday night. I came back on Sunday and spoke with the manager about the issue. He was kind enough to listen and took care of our problem. First of all, I have to say that, even though it was 92° today, the air conditioning in this place did not work. Secondly, I ordered a pizza with just pepperoni on it, but got everything under the sun on it. I hardly ate any of it I wrote a letter to the company of my dismay will probably never go back there again. Aside from that, they were people in the kitchen arguing very loud over the music, which was very low volume. Also, we asked for a refill of our decaffeinated iced tea and never got it. We had to flag down , a boy in training to get it for us because our server was too busy talking, etc. etc. Would not go back it was very uncomfortable very terrible atmosphere and now I understand why they close all of their locations in Pennsylvania except for that one. I have always enjoyed eating at Bertuccis Springfield . The menu and food is always consistent and very good . You have to love the warm rolls and olive oil , the Tuscan chicken wings , chicken bruschetta, and the desserts are delicious . The food is very good but the service is outstanding . Hailey , Rylee , Jen and Heather do an amazing job in the front of the house ! They work well together and support each other to deliver excellent service each and every time I visit this restaurant . The most underrated pizza place in the DMV. My go to order is the Big Papi add Ricotta. You won't regret it. The interior is old and dark but who cares. The people are friendly and service is good. Pizzas are made to order in their brick oven. If you love pizza then you should try it. I can't attest to anything else on the menu. read more

On February 16, my daughter and I experienced extremely different treatment compared to surrounding tables. Our server Jennifer dismissed our concerns, lied about fresh bread availability, forgot part of our order, and behaved rudely throughout. When I asked for a manager, I was told none was present, which later proved untrue. My child asked if we were treated badly because we 'aren't like her,' which broke my heart. I've always passed by this place and have been wanting to try it. They had a special deal where some items are priced like it was the olden times. The value of each item being under $10 is great! But the taste and quality of the food is not good. There was not enough toppings and the pizza tasted really basic. I think I had better pizza that was frozen. So, we finally got to go and let's say they redeemed their selves without knowing. The food was so good and our waitress "Rylee" was amazing!! Very sweet and attentive. I love Bertucci's. Growing up I didn't know it was a chain so it's very exciting to come to a different location than the one I had as a kid. As usual their rolls are fresh and delicious. And their olive oil dipping sauce was even better than I remembered. Nice and spicy and bursting with flavor. I was going to branch out and try their calzone today but then we discovered Tuesday is Buy One Get One Free for their large pizzas. So we ordered the Big Papi and Roasted Broccoli and Chicken. What we got: Roasted Broccoli and Chicken - 4*. The sauce is amazing, if it wasn't for that this would be a 3* pie. The chicken was a bit dry and I was hoping there'd be more broccoli. Big Papi - 5*. Wow wow wow. This one is packed with flavor and the hot honey is *pausing to drooool* so dang good. If you like meat and spice, give this one a go! read more

First time customer and not disappointed. We sat towards front of establishment-eye shot of kitchen n bar( so we could see everything). All workers were working, not just standing around. Met up with a friend and we split the check, we both had a white sangria (delicious-well made and presented), large Insalata salad ( one bowl for 2 people and very plain salad) dressing was good, roasted vegetable pizza with red sauce n no olives -my favorite it was tasty. I felt like splurging (read- being a fat POS) and, quite frankly, decided that I had gone way too long without the godliness of Bertuccis rolls. I ordered my most favorite dish (baked tortellini chicken gratinati), a variation of which I've been eating at this restaurant for over a decade. I'm grateful it has never been taken off the menu and only slightly modified. Anyway, I ordered a bunch of food that I didn't even really want or need to meet the minimum for delivery. What I really wanted was the rolls. Unfortunately, their online system has a very limited character count for the notes section so I could not adequately describe the fact that these rolls were literally the only good thing in my life right now keeping me from totally losing my sh*t. See attached photo for my attempts to convey this message. The staff at this location did not disappoint. MVPs included at least 8 rolls w my order. God bless. 2 stars because of the service!!!! Came into springfield bertuccis and was waiting 15 minutes for someone to clean the bar. The tall white guy by the name of WAYNE with the beard and mustache looked at us 3 times, turned his head and walked away. The woman Jenn was running around trying to take care of everyone in the bar area. Wayne never came over BUT when the white folks sat next to us. My wife and I used to be regulars at Bertolucci's but the service was always hit and miss, so we haven't been in a while. For this visit both of us got something completely different from our normal selections. What a delight it turned out to be. The waiter, Sean could not have been more attentive throughout the dinner. I ordered the veal piccata and my wife ordered the veal parmesan. During the short wait for our food they brought us their homemade sour dough rolls which are an absolute deight. Both of our dishes came out hot and absolutely delicious. The best part of the meal may be the size of the portions which are more than adequate for an encore meal the next day. Service was very quick. Bridget was an angel and very patient with our large late night party.

BLUF: very tasty, and cheaper to boot So, Bertucci's is having a special deal for these two weeks where they're giving 1980s crisis on selected menu items. I figured that would be a great time to go in and try them out again because it been quite a while since I've been there. We started with an antipasto salad and a standard Italian salad. Both are very good, mostly because the dressing was outstanding. The only gave us one roll each Which is less than they used to but frankly my gut doesn't need it anyway LOL. The Nolio pizza was delicious, just the right blend of cheese and caramelized onions. We also got calzones which, although not great, were very good. They did have a nice amount of ricotta cheese in them, which was nice because so many restaurants just put mozzarella in there. The service was friendly and prompt. read more

I haven't been to a Bertucci's in a long time, at least 15 years. I'm hoping they all haven't turned into this, because it was pretty bad. All the pizzas were very undercooked, to the point where the vegetable toppings were still completely crunchy and the crust was pale white and floppy with no char or crunch whatsoever. They were also drenched in tomato sauce, at least double the normal amount. The margarita was the toughest to eat, because that was drenched in tomato sauce with a few blotches of undercooked cheese. It was more like heating a warm tomato pie. We sent them back and asked them to put them in the oven for another five minutes or so, that definitely helped. There were only three tables there for lunch, and it took 45 minutes to get our pizzas. And, the Sporkie that we ordered without mushrooms had mushrooms all over it. If it wasn't for the sweetheart of a waitress, it would've received one star. Lastly, the whole place just looked dated, tired, and with some disrepair.
