Now *this* is a good pizza joint. A terrific selection of "standard" pizza (pepperoni, sausage, etc.) and your more eclectic styles like chicken chipotle, buffalo chicken, etc. Slices are $4, and you really only need one. But because I'm greedy and have no self-control, I always get two. The whole pizza is a little expensive, but because the pizza is so dense and heavy, it is kinda worth it? I mean a whole, large pizza will easily feed 4 people, no joke. And btw - I haven't had a slice yet that I haven't really enjoyed. The buff chick pizza is probably the best buff chick pizza I've ever had. Service is quick and easy. It is never crowded (though it should be). Best pizza in Delco? I have had Italian delight several times and have always enjoyed my meals. They answer the phone fast and say 20min but, it's always ready before that. I personally really like the grilled chicken Caesar salad. It's a mountain of grilled chicken breast tossed in a pile of cheese, Romain and croutons. It's also enough for 3 large meals. The broccoli ricotta white pizza is also awesome because instead of just tossing lumps of ricotta randomly on that means you have to spread it out or take massive nukes of ricotta. The service here has fallen off to a really bad extent. Their online ordering system has had glitches specifically with chicken pizza menu items. We've ordered delivery for buffalo chicken pizzas and received chicken parm, ordered buffalo chicken stromboli and received grilled chicken. There doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to the glitch but in the past when issues happened they were apologetic and would send the correct items. Today when a mistake happened we were told we were wrong and we can just order again and they'll send the correct items. Basically pay twice or be stuck with food you don't want. I order from here several times a month. Pizza is always consistent, the cheesesteaks are decent, and the food is always hot. I'm not a fan of the 3% credit card fee, so I just order online and choose the cash option. As a small business owner, I just feel credit card fees are the cost of doing business. Have only had the Sicilian style pizzas from here. They are off the hook! Crispy, crunchy and with a nice sweet, thick sauce seasoned just right. The crust and thickness are perfect l. We usually get one plain Sicilian half sausage and one tomato pie for work lunches and fight over the corner pieces! The cheese on the plain is thick, slightly sweet and not stringy and the sausage slices are seasoned well and are a decent size. We've been ordering from them for over a decade and the consistency is always there. Delicious and impossible to not average between 2-3 slices. (In younger days 4 was easily achievable). I got the Specialty Cheesesteak vs the Cheesesteak Special. The specialty cheese steak comes with fried onions, mushrooms, green peppers, pepperoni, sauce and mozzarella cheese. This Cheesesteak had very good size to it. The extras spent some time on the grill together and were mixed together nicely. However they could have spent more time on the grill together and been mixed together more thoroughly. A little more love and this would have been a darn good cheesesteak. read more

The wife talked me into trying this place. I see it has quite a Broomall following. I figured out why. Their regular pizza is decent. Good foldable slices, which even though I tend to like pan style pizza, I just need something I can fold every now and then. I was more impressed by my wife's white veggie slice which was excellent. Plus they make a huge Cajun chicken Caesar salad with quite the Cajun kick and very tasty dressing. The large salad is big enough for a meal in itself. Most importantly, my wife hadn't been here for 7 years after she moved farther away. She says it's just as good as she remembers it from then. Consistency is key. I believe the hype. Went back to Italian Delite for the first time in a while to give another chance. Still not thrilled with them. They do make the best chicken parm around but the pizza steak was a bit disappointing. It's a good steak but there was very little pizza sauce on the sandwich and what was there was watery. It turned into just a cheese steak but for the money it's not really worth it if you like a good pizza steak. I'd rather drive to Dalessandro's Steaks for the same cost and get a super good steak. Take from it what you will but I'm still not a huge fan of this place. read more

We had an unfortunate experience with the cheese on our pizza on our last delivery and they brought us a fresh pizza and a gift card to make up for it! I did not ask them to do that, either. I didn't realize that it had been so long since my past review. They did some renovations here so there is more space to wait for takeout and now they have granite countertops and have spruced the place up a bit. I usually roll by here on my way to somewhere else and stop in for a slice-as opposed to a whole pie-on most occasions. My new favorite here is the Sicilian margherita pie which has fresh basil and mozzarella. They don't always have it but now I order the pie when I'm getting pizza for the family. Best pizza, cheesesteaks, hoagies, salads, and wings in Broomall. They have over ten varieties of slices ranging from cheesesteak to buffalo to veggie slices. My favorite is the honey mustard chicken or the sweet chili chicken and bacon slice. I don't eat steak but I've been told the cheesesteaks are amazing. My favorite salads are the Greek with added grilled chicken or the grilled chicken Caesar salad. The grilled chicken is to die for! Great flavor and seasoning. They also started to deliver when the new owner took over in Feb 2018. Delivery is about a 5 mile radius. If you're close or in the area I definitely recommend stopping by! My friend brought takeout pizza and wings to our other friend's house for Thanksgiving eve. We usually go out but this year we stayed in with take away food due to some health issues of a member of our merry band. I can't comment on the service but my friend who put the order in seemed to have no problem with the pickup. Food For $50 we'd two large plain pizzas and 30 wings. There were five of us and plenty of leftovers. Pizza4/5 The pizza crust similar to Gusto pizza though it was a lighter on the cheese and sauce than Gusto. Buffalo Wings 5/5 Wings were pretty nicely sauced and they had a nice slow burny kick (yum). Only issue was they use packets of Ken's blue cheese dressing but I think they sent along some ranch dressing too which is wrong and confusing. I'm sure it was an honest mistake. read more

We love it here. All the different kinds of pizza they have are delicious!! It's pretty small so if you're trying to eat in sometime she may have to wait but usually not. We love going there to get single slices just because there are so many different kinds to try. Parking is sometimes a pain because Wawa right next-door. Are usually don't try many their appetizers because we got wings and fries and they weren't really that good. But their pizza on the other hand is delicious. A delicious thin crust pie! It has the perfect ratio of cheese to sauce. This is definitely one of my favorite pizza places in the Delco area. It is just a little too far from my house to get a a hot pie home. I would rather enjoy this one in the establishment because I know it's going to hit the spot. It's also a little pricier compared to local pizza shops, but for the taste I would gladly trade. It's been a while since we ordered from here and boy were my taste buds missing this pizza. Ohhh no, new owners! I've been eating Italian Delite (ID) almost weekly since 7th grade, over 30 years ago and hands down, one of the best overall Pizza shops in the area. Sure, there are other places that do other styles (brick oven) that are good too, but for your standard Friday night Za fix this is the place. I've had Pizza in Italy, Hawaii, Cali and I always want to come back to ID! So I just heard on the street (unconfirmed) there are new owners, and not related to the family? PLEASE, dear new owners, do not change a thing! Do not change recipes, do not change suppliers, do not change staff, do not change the menu, heck do not even change the sign! I have witnessed so many great restaurants go down when changing owners, sometimes even with family. You have a great thing going here, it is a gold mine. No need to put your own "stamp" on it. Do what they did for 35 years and you will be successful and we will be happy! My "1" star is given for customer and food service and because there is no "0" stars to choose from. For the second time in March, there was a problem with our order. The first time, there was an issue with the prices, delivery charge versus tip etc. I let my concerns drop after a discussion with the pretty rude young lady who took my order. The second time was today. When our pie was delivered, it was not what I ordered. I immediately called the restaurant back to tell them of the mistake, I was told that the mistake was mine and I did not order the tomato pie correctly, that it was my fault we got the wrong pie and that it would cost four dollars more, plus tax, to get what we originally ordered. All of the discussion I had with the person who was in charge was through the young lady who answered the phone. He would not speak with me directly and I was told I would need to return the tomato pie for a refund. A refund was, however, immediately processed (supposedly) when I said that if they wanted the pizza, they could come and get it, which they said they would. I will check my credit card statement tomorrow. Until this place changed hands a couple of years ago, it had some of the best take-out items in Broomall. Not Anymore. There are a number of new eateries in Broomall. I think it may be time to give them a try. read more

My girlfriend may get pissed for me saying this but this place is aite. Nothing really to write home about. I know Broomall ain't NYC, but I've had way better. The pizza is still good don't get me wrong, it's just that I don't think it really deserves all that much fanfare. Although I will say that if I was in the area and was craving pizza, I would definitely order from here. The prices are attractive but I guess, they are expected for a Broomall establishment. I will give this place the benefit of a doubt as I only had two slices, one regular cheese and a mushroom slice. The mushroom tasted fresh but I like it really baked in there. Like, I mean, in there. I've been coming to Italian Delite ever since my family moved to Broomall. That was 16 years ago. When I was little, I used to bike 45 minutes from my house just to get a slice or two of their pizza. And though I now live in NYC, pizza capital of the world, I still find myself craving Italian Delite's pizza at times (and I ALWAYS stop by when i'm home in broomall.) There's something about their sauce..just the right balance of sweetness and tartness. And the crispyness of the crust...it's really good reheated the next day. You must try this place. read more

Great Pizza place in Broomall. This is always one of my "go to" spots when I need to get take out for dinner. Hands down, my favorite is the Sicilian pizza! Thick tasty dough, good sauce, and I get it with extra cheese, it's awesome. Though not on their menu, they do make a good Cheesesteak pizza. I saw it there one day as a slice pie, and they gladly make me one when I order it. The only thing keeping this place from getting a full 5 star review is that I find their "non-pizza" items a little lack luster. They will suffice if you need some sides or a sandwich, but nothing too special. Also, I have to ask....who puts mozzarella on a cheesesteak? I ordered one once assuming it came with American cheese, and was a little confused that it came with mozzarella. Also, I am not a fan of the "number system" they use when ordering. I am sure it helps them stay organized on a busy night, but I don't like feeling like I am at Wawa with a number. It's nice when a place gets to know your name, and know you are a regular customer not just a number. Man what a shame...I've moved out of Broomall recently so I usually come back to see my grandmother and family memeber...my mistake today was to pick up some slices on my way home...I know it's changed ownership but Italian delight previously was the busiest place around here ...it's now dead in there and it's dead for a reason...quality has gone to the toilet! My parents own a pizza shop so I know how hard it is to run a business like this but this guy bought a gold mine and changed everything...tasteless crust all the air has been pushed out the oily cheese drips with grease....and I'm sorry but women at the front handling pizzas then touching money then touching food is just gross...good luck with everything hope you learn your lesson read more
