Lima Pizza just had a Grand Re-opening last month (April 2026) .The previous owners had sold to some new folks just before the end of last year;I only found this out recently after doing some online digging.I had wondered why it was closed for so long? This pizza is what's usually called Neapolitan or Italian style pizza;the 'old' Lima Pizza was more of a Greek/pan style pizza,which I had liked quite a bit. The store has been closed since Christmas Holidays 2025 while they were renovating the kitchen. I'm pretty sure they now use a wood-burning oven,because you can't get this type crispy/charred crust from a conventional oven.I'll have to ask next time I visit just to be sure. Anyway,I tried a 16" regular pizza w/ 2 cheeses ,a 16" upside down pizza, and a cheesesteak (w/pepperoni) & a (huge!) bag of fries . Pizzas come in 2 sizes--S 12" ,and L 16". Steaks are one size. Starting with the steak and fries,they were very good,like borderline 5-Stars level of good.Would definitely order again.Steak was cut up nicely with plenty of melted American cheese and a good bit of chopped pieces of pepperoni.Fries were kinda thick cut and very tasty.Steak was a bit pricey at $17.50,fries were $5.95 The regular pizza that I got,I ordered it with Mozzarella and Cheddar as well as my usual Pepperoni. It was very good,again very nearly 5-star good.Large pizza with optional extra cheese and pepperoni was $25.50 Mid-week seems to be the best time to go to the shop; they currently offer $3.50 Off any large pizza Tuesday& Wednesday "Pizza Rage" their ad touts. Large pizza toppings were a bit pricey at $5 for pepperoni,but they don't skimp on it. Most shops only charge $3 or $4 for toppings. I haven't yet tried the Upside down pizza ,I threw it in the freezer to try at a later date. I'm sure it will be as good as the 2 cheese/pepperoni one. You definitely want to check this place out again if you live in or around Delaware County/Media area.They've been 'gone' for several months,but their pizza is better than ever! Only major fault in their menu (in my opinion) is they don't make Strombolis :( Lima used to make really good ones! Sad. Since this is my first time back visiting Lima in many months,I gave it a 4-star rating for a baseline.Next time, if it's as good as or better ,then I'll be confident enough to say it's a proper 5-star,ok? read more

This was my go to pizza spot when I lived in the area. Drove 45 minutes the other day for the first time since I moved and it's even better than I remembered. The pizza was amazing, perfect cheese/sauce ratio, quality mozzarella and yummy sauce. My fiancé had a cheesesteak and all he talked about on the way home was how good it was. The owner actually remembered who I was and came over to say hi and had us dying laughing with his jokes. My only complaint is I wish they were closer to where I live now!! read more

I got the royal. I am very glad I did. I waited a half hour which I didn't care for. This was a wonderful soupy well orchestrated collaboration of many tastes injected into a cheesesteak. The meat did not get lost. Normally that's not a great description but with so many other tastes, the meat not getting lost is a good compliment. The roll did an amazing job. $9, that's a good thing. Came in to get a pizza. Truthfully didn't have enough money to get a small pizza. John or Yani...an angel from Greece made sure we didn't leave that store without. He said the look in my daughter's eyes made him want to do it. He then turned around and gives her a Cheesecake for her birthday which will be tomorrow! Well, I haven't been here since I was a teenager. Was one of my favorites back in the day. Got some takeout today and drove 45 minutes home. Food was ok but not like I remember. Found two long brown hairs in my Italian sub. Pretty gross. A bunch of young kids working in the shop, not welcoming at all. Everyone was too busy eating, talking and joking around. Lots of looking at their phones. I heard someone in charge telling the others how to make things. "Just follow what's written down" Not the place that remember. read more

Lima Pizzeria is one of my favorite pizza places in the area. We only ever order the pizza and occasionally french fries, so I can't speak to any of the other food items on the menu, which is quite large. I've also never eaten in the restaurant, but I have walked through it a few times and it seemed somewhat empty and sad. I've actually never seen anyone eating in the dining room, but their take-out gets quite busy. A large pizza, before toppings, is $9.99. They also have white pizza, which is one of my favorites. We love their crust, and their toppings always taste fresh. The fries are $2.69- they also have other sides such as onion rings and mozzarella sticks, but I haven't tried them. When I'm craving pizza, I call ahead on my way home from work, and the food is always done exactly on time, and sometimes a few minutes earlier than they say. The staff is friendly and efficient. There is usually plenty of parking in front of Lima, but it can be a bit difficult to get in and out of the parking lot during rush hour. If you're looking to grab some pizza on the way home, I strongly recommend Lima! Note: there are two entrances. One is for take-out and one is for the dining area. One bite, everyone knows the rules (#stoolpresidente) Ordered pizza for delivery through GrubHub. Delivery was quick and food was still steaming when it was delivered. At first look I could almost tell what I was in for. Visually speaking, this pizza looks like Chuckie Cheese or any other basic pizza joint that is a national chain but just a little less good. Decent DelCo flop, but can see the grease dripping. On the bite the flavor is a bit off, but im not able to tell why. Could be that the sauce is sweet (not a fan of sweet sauce) or maybe the cheese is old, not sure, but taste is a bit off. Bottom of the crust is nice, but pizza is oddly doughy and soft. This would be decent for an office party or tailgate, but if your looking at pizza as a dining experience, this is not what you want. Im starting to see a sad trend with DelCo pizza, following this same lead. Hopefully something better will come up. read more

Lima Pizza really has some of the best pizza around. It's been open (and owned by the same family I believe) since at least the 80s so they are definitely doing something right. Owner was a huge jerk, pizza was abysmal (dough was raw and the cheese slipped completely off even when I tried to keep it on top), price wasn't very reasonable, and there's not much space inside. Some of the other workers are nice, and the pizza's sauce is passable at least, but those are the only pluses. 2/5 from me. read more

Just picked up my order and three out of the 4 people working weren't wearing masks or gloves. The guy cooking the cheesesteak had his hands all over it. Very greasy style Greek Pizza. After you dab off the excess grease with a few paper towels you have a very tasty pizza. I like the thick crunchy crust. Also ordered 10 of their wings. They are full wings the knuckles and the flappers. They need to cut off the tips. They are fully breaded and served with a side of hot sauce. Not particularly how I care for my wings. I like them cut and drenched in the sauce. I feel cheated when they are dry. Its the cheap way out. Cover my wings in the sauce. If i want them dry I will ask for Fried Chicken. I've only been here for one thing in my entire life, but I've come back MANY times for that. It's their personal pizzas. Don't get their allegedly awful spaghetti, don't come for the service, just get one personal pizza for everyone in your party, get it to-go. I love Lima pizza. One of the best takeout pizza places in the Glen Mills area. I've had pizza from them which is great. The screen style crust is excellent and crispy. I've had the chicken caesar wrap and the cheesesteak wrap (which is excellent btw). The fries are good, burgers are good, gyro is also pretty good. Royal Cheesesteak is one of my favorites and very large. The cheesesteak hoagie is also excellent. Good prices, quick delivery, and great quality food. Highly recommend Lima to anyone in the area. Every time I order delivery the girl says 45 mins, but it takes 15-20. It's not a bad thing... but one time I was in the shower. The nice young man left the food and came back later for payment (I answered the door in my towel with 3 kids at my feet... scared the poor boy, I'm sure!) Food is always hot--right out of the oven! Please don't judge this takeout place by the reviews bashing the service. There used to be a dining room which is now closed, so I can only speak to the food. I have lived in Media for a couple years, and have tried pizza a number of places now. My wife and I agree that the pizza here is some of best in the area. We always get the thinner crust, which is not a true thin crust, just more of a NY style. Normally cheese is our go to, but recently ordered sausage with a big order for a party, and it was great. We've gotten other items which are good as well, but pizza is our main hit. Online ordering is a plus in my book, and prices lean on the value side of things. Give it a try! read more

I've been there twice so far. And one star goes only for the pizza. The place has a horrible wait-staff. The delivery driver is also a waiter - which is not acceptable. Our group had to repeat our order 3 times. Also the food was not good. The spaghetti - horrible, it was definitely undercooked. The manager is super rude called in because my food arrived cold from grub hub. The manager first offered half price which I declined and offered for him to send someone back to get the food. He then told me to call grub hub for a full refund which I did and the customer service rep from indicated the manager said he will only honor 50% refund. I then had to call the resturanr back again to be yelled at & belitted by the manager. I ended the conversation with I will disputing the entire transaction with my credit card company ! read more
