Wanted a pizza today near that I never tried before. Sciarrino's Pizza in Springfield got the call. So this is definitely one of those tweener pizza's Delco is known for. It's not quite NY style thin. It's not quite crispy brick oven. It's not quite Greek style pan. It's somewhere in between all those, like a hand tossed with some thickness. It's got a lot of good things going for it. The dough tasted really fresh. Good amount of cheese and toppings. Perfect level of doneness. It was a big 16 inch pie for the price too. And they have smaller sizes if you wish. I like a decent amount of sauce with some distinct taste to it. This didn't have that. Seemed a little light on the sauce. To me the sauce gives the pizza its little extra oomph. Using the Dave Portnoy scale would be a 6.8. I liked it. I may not have raved about it but I liked it.

I saw a review of Sciarrino's in a local FaceBook group and I wanted to try something new so I grabbed a pizza (see picture) with bacon, sausage, pepperoni and roasted peppers. If there was a 100 point rating system, I would give this an 88 (which would be one of the highest from me for a US pizza place). The crust was relatively thin (bent just at the ends when picking up a slice) and tasty, the sauce was supportive, and the toppings were tasty and plentiful. The parking is free - either street or parking lot across from the restaurant. The staff was very nice and the bathrooms were fine.

I saw a pizza on the background of their website https://www.sciarrinospizza.com/ and they told me that they no longer offer that. The one I did order wasn't bad- I ordered their house special pizza. I wish I had just called in rather than ordered online because they charged $1 or $2 more for ordering online when I went to pickup :/ I like that they had cream vanilla as an option for Pepsi. They use quality bread (Amaretto's I believe). Meatball sub was good. I think I like Capriotti's Meatball sub in Springfield better, but this one was certainly not worth complaining about. I wanted to try this vendor's meatball sub because they were selling some at a local event earlier, but by the time I got there (330 PM), they were closing up their stand for the day. Maybe they weren't selling a lot- I think it was better than the other offerings available as I wasn't tempted to get anything else at that local fair. Quality place but besides the soda, something about it didn't stand out for me personally enough.

We went to our friends house and they ordered delivery from Sciarrino's. I can't speak to the customer service or delivery times since we weren't the ones that actually ordered. Everything arrived warm. We got a bunch of apps - boneless Buffalo wings, boneless bbq wings, broccoli bites, mozzarella sticks and fries. The boneless Buffalo and bbq wings were good. The fries were pretty salty. I didn't try the other things but our one friend loves the broccoli bites from here. My one friend got the BLT club which is a favorite of hers. It looked delicious and she very much enjoyed it. We shared two pizzas. An upside down and a Sicilian with extra cheese and extra sauce. The upside down was my favorite of the two although the Sicilian was good as well. We are big fans of upside and Sicilian pizza and these held up to some of our favorites. We would order from here again and would recommend it to others!

Sciarrino's never disappoints. Tonight my wife and I stopped in a quick bite and we each grabbed a couple of slices. The pizza was fresh and delicious. They have a nice thin style of pizza with a good crunchy crust. I also really enjoy their wings. The owners and staff are also very friendly. It's always a pleasure to get food from Sciarrino's. We usually order takeout but tonight we switched it up.

During this chaotic times with covid, there has been so much going on. The community has had a strong showing and coming together for those involved in health care and our safety staff too (police, firemen, etc). Sciarrino's arranged to have this AMAZING donation. Our team absolutely loved the food, cannot thank the team enough for their support during these trying times. We encourage everyone to get out and support small pizza!

I looked this place up as I was looking for a new pizza place that delivered as I recently moved to Springfield from media. The service on the phone was courteous and they got my order correct. I ordered the house specialty pizza and I have to say it is delicious! I asked for no onions and no peppers and they got that correct. Great sauce lots of ingredients and fair price. This is the only item I've ever tried here but I will definitely be ordering more pizza in the future from here and trying other menu items.

I have to…read morepreface this review by stating that we're not big bread people and we don't like big crust on our pizza we're more of the thin crust type of crew. But WOW WOW WOW!! This Pizza lives up to its name!! it is incredible, so much so that it might end up being our new pizza joint 24/7. The crust is indescribable delicious. Has that thin layer of a cheesy taste to it? The crust is soft and warm with a crispy thin layer. Any toppings you put on this pizza are just going to be an amazing extra, so take your pic of whatever topping you wanna put on. The base of this pizza is what makes the fireworks! 5 stars- we ordered the Smallest sized pizza pizza for 2 of us as a trial and I couldn't finish my second piece. It was so filling! 4 huge slices is enough for 2 people. The best!

Now having been to both Crust locations, both Havertown and Morton, I have to say I like the Morton…read morelocation better, and this is simply because it is so much closer to my house; only about a five minute drive away. Honestly, the two spots are nearly identical, with the same features being present in both, and I am fairly sure the same owner for both, as I have seen the same gentleman behind the counter on both of my trips. The pizza is "Detroit" style, which seems to be subjective depending on the place you go, with pizza terms getting thrown around lately like they don't really mean anything. But in this case, very deliciously crispy deep crust with lots of cheese and delicious sauce and ingredients piled on top. The menu has a lot to offer, and while to some, the prices may seem high, you are getting your money's worth as between two people, one pizza here can easily last three meals. In Havertown I ordered the hot honey pepperoni burrata which is what initially wowed me on this place and when I saw that a new location was opening in Morton I had been very excited to go back. Having since had the opportunity to order from the Morton shop, I have also had the Santorini, which has red onions, spinach, tomatoes, feta, olive oil, and oregano. Yet another win, both pizzas I have had from Crust have been extremely good and I will be returning a third time and obviously more, to try the other signature pies that they offer. While may people will say no to pineapple on pizza, their Hawaiian and the South Philly will likely be my next choices! One thing I want to stress is the ordering. This is the only reason that I cannot give Crust a perfect rating. I have not used online ordering; that is one of my hang ups and that's fine. It's not an option that I like, so I don't use it. Luckily, they offer other options for ordering. However, this is where is gets weird. When you call in to order, you are answered by a very lifelike AI representative to take your order. Very uncanny actually, but just off enough that it it's very off putting and actually makes you feel uneasy in a way. It also takes several requests for it to transfer you to a real person. When calling to place an order, I have already avoided using the contact-less digital route so that I can speak to someone and I would like to talk to a human being. I have actually spoken to the owner when I originally went to Havertown about this and how much of a detractor it was for me, and potentially others, but it would appear that he has opted to not change how this service works. Obviously, I would not expect someone trying to run a restaurant to change a system they have invested in just because one person doesn't like it, but it has prevented me from calling there at least once. With that out of the way, I do think you should order pizza from here. Right away in fact. It is so good, if you think I'm wrong I invite you to contact me directly right here on Yelp and tell me how wrong I am. Because I can guarantee you I'm not. The Hot Honey Burrata is almost life-changing. Give it a try and you'll see what I mean.

Last night, I had the pleasure of indulging in two of their signature offerings: the Motown Pizza and the Greek Detroit Style Pizza. Spoiler alert: both left a lasting impression! Motown Pizza: First up was the Motown Pizza, a delightful homage to the Detroit-style pizza that's been making waves. The thick, rectangular crust was a sight to behold, perfectly golden and crisp on the edges while remaining fluffy and airy in the center. Each bite offered a satisfying crunch that's hard to resist. Topped generously with a rich, tangy tomato sauce that has just the right amount of sweetness, the flavor profile was elevated with a blend of savory spices. The cheese--oh, the cheese! A blend created a gooey, stretchy experience that paired harmoniously with the sauce. To top it off, the pepperoni was perfectly placed, slightly crispy around the edges and bursting with flavor. Overall, the Motown Pizza is a symphony of textures and tastes that will have you singing its praises long after the last slice. Greek Detroit Style Pizza: Next, I ventured into the Greek Detroit Style Pizza, which was nothing short of a culinary revelation. This pizza took the classic Detroit style and infused it with vibrant Mediterranean flavors. The crust maintained that same delightful crunch, but the addition of olive oil gave it an extra layer of richness. The toppings were a feast for the eyes and the palate. A generous layer of feta cheese added a creamy tang, while Kalamata olives brought a briny punch that contrasted beautifully with the sweetness of the tomato sauce. Fresh red onions rounded out the toppings, providing a refreshing crunch that made each bite feel light yet satisfying. What truly stood out was the balance of flavors. The Greek spices harmonized with the traditional pizza elements, creating a unique fusion that's hard to find elsewhere. It's the kind of pizza that makes you rethink your typical toppings and inspires a desire for more adventurous pairings. Final Thoughts: Rating 5/5 Pricing for the pizzas were very inexpensive and the quality was outstanding. Icon Pizza in Springfield, PA, has truly elevated the pizza game with their Motown and Greek Detroit Style Pizzas. Both offerings showcase a commitment to quality ingredients and innovative flavor combinations. Whether you're a pizza purist or an adventurous eater, you'll find something to love here. I highly recommend stopping by Icon Pizza for a pizza (or two) of these delicious creations. You won't be disappointed! The service is exceptional my husband loves the owner and could not stop raving about him.

This place defines the term "just ok."…read more For starters, the pizza was pretty average. It had more cheese and a lot less sauce. That usually tells me the sauce is substandard. It didn't taste bad. It was just... there. I tried the Garlic Parmesan wings. The problem there... it was all garlic and no Parmesan. In fact it was so much garlic that a bite of the wings with way too much garlic came out bitter and actually burned the tongue. And interestingly enough, my wife said the exact same thing about her garlic bread after getting a huge bite of garlic. Whoever was doing the cooking tonight was garlic happy. She considered her chicken parm platter just ok too. She thought the chicken came out over cooked. I tasted and I completely agree. It was slightly rubbery. Not terrible just not great. The wings themselves weren't too bad. Some of them were meaty while others were a bit scrawny. Inconsistency at best. My son liked the pizza. It wasn't bad. It just wasn't interesting. Which means a 7 year old palate will probably love it. As I said, not terrible. Just not great tonight. However... I ordered some cookies for dessert. And those were pretty awesome. I'll give them props for getting that right. I'll even post a picture of one here. Just because.
