The person I spoke with on the phone to get the quote and book the service was polite and didn't try to oversell me. I booked about 1.5 months in advance and had no issue getting my preferred date. Today the movers arrived. They can arrive between 9-11a and came at exactly 9. Both of the men were polite and careful with all my belongings. They took apart my bed from for me and wrapped some fragile things. They were also very quick. I am a single person that was moving from one unit to another in a large complex (so they loaded everything into the truck and then unloaded it). It took them about 1.5 hours (they charge a 2 hour minimum). Overall, great company. I would use them again and recommend them.

Most moving companies were quoting me some ridiculous numbers for something that would only take 1 to 2 hours, tops. When I called here, the quote was adjusted lower because I wouldn't be needing movers for long and I wouldn't be needing them to drive my stuff anywhere. The price was very fair. The day before our move, the owner called to confirm the reservation and give me a heads up on some details...then! Gave me the opportunity to ask if I had any questions. This impressed me again! The movers were early! And fast! And gentle with our stuff. We will definitely be using Smooth Transition again come September. Great job! The owner cares and that really shows.

As a matter of fact, I got a bit of a discount cause one guy was a no show and they had to get someone else so there was a bit of a delay, but Nigel took care of that and I didn't even ask for any discounts. They are VERY careful with your stuff, which probably makes the move a bit longer but it's definitely worth it verse a quick one with half your stuff broken. I had an antique cabinet, very fragile, they wrapped it in blankets and moved it upstairs in the new house without a single scratch. All the TV's were very carefully handled, as well as lamps and other fragile stuff! They also spent quite a bit of time moving a fridge out of the basement, and I didn't hear any complaints or comments, and it was a major pain! So great attitude, made the whole move much more pleasant! Overall, great service, no hidden fees, easy to work with! Highly recommended!

And the two movers on the day were prompt, efficient, and very enjoyable people to be around as well. When we researched the pricing and customer satisfaction of Desert Apex Movers compared to others, they became our clear choice winner. Only one or two others had slightly lower costs but not near the number of reviews to back up their performance or good first impressions you get from the phone or internet. (Local move from Gilbert to North Phoenix AZ) Zach's company is no-nonsense, straightforward, and well worth the very reasonable prices he charges. Obviously, it's on us to be as prepared as possible for moving day, but Desert Apex Movers were ready to tackle any additional items we needed moving on the fly. There were no issues at all and they made it a worry-free and effortless experience. We will definitely use them again without hesitation.

They made sure everything was secure and protected, nothing was scratched, dented or broken. It was a stressful day but Cory and Truman were joking and having a good time which really helped ease my stress. They were so easy to work with. I would almost say they made the move fun. In my opinion they are underpriced for the amazing service they offer. I don't plan on moving again anytime soon but when I do I most definitely will call Desert Apex Movers!

Even though I agreed to a specific timeframe, they changed it until we finally agreed to a timeframe for them to come to my apartment. On the day of my move, I found out through the dispatcher that they put the wrong address so I had to correct that. The dispatcher assured me they would be on time but when they weren't, I called again. The dispatcher gave me the number to the trucker. The trucker told me he was working for a different company and then told me what time he would show up to my place. He never did. At that point, they were 2 hours and 30 minutes late. I was livid at all the lies and the incompetent behavior going on. It got to the point where I felt like my property would not be safe in their hands considering that the dispatcher and trucker were working for 2 different companies. It was extremely shady and I cancelled it. It made the entire day extremely stressful as I had to figure out a way to move my things after such a horrible experience here. Note that the owner even messaged me to ask me to write a good review about this place before the service even happened. I've written over 900 reviews on this site and I've never encountered an owner who personally tried to convince me to write a good review before they even complete their end of the bargain. Stay very far from this place if you value your time and property.
