The previous company refused to take anything that wasn't in a sealed box. DAM brought their own boxes and packed up random loose items I had planned on moving myself. They made sure everything was secure and protected, nothing was scratched, dented or broken. It was a stressful day but Cory and Truman were joking and having a good time which really helped ease my stress. They were so easy to work with. I would almost say they made the move fun. Let's face it. Moving is stressful for everyone. For me it was particularly stressful because my move required multiple steps in order for me to finally get settled. That's where Zack and the good guys at Desert Apex Movers came in! I have two storage units that contained a lifetime of belongings. In addition, I also had some pretty big/heavy items at my father's home a few miles away. Zack helped me coordinate the day of the move so that we knocked out the small storage locker (requiring use of the elevator) first thing in the morning. Once completed, we drove over to my pop's house to pick up a handful of additional items including a stand up piano and separate electric piano. By time we arrived at the town house (where all living space is on the second level), the storm clouds came in and we were hit with some pretty foul weather. The movers took it all in good stride, while carefully and methodically working around the rain to keep my stuff as dry as possible. By afternoon they were back at the storage facility to load up the last batch out of the second storage unit on the main floor. We wrapped up just in time for dinner. Add to this, a week later Zack arranged for his movers to help us with some remaining items that needed to go back and forth between my father's home and mine. I honestly, don't know another mover in the local area who would have been as patient, flexible and fair in their pricing for what I needed and am so grateful for their help this past month. We first hired Desert Apex when we first moved to AZ. Zach's team worked hard in hot weather and unloaded our moving truck at the storage and at our house. After buying a house, I hired them again to move my furniture from one house to another (a short local move). I called Zach and I gave him the details. He quickly whipped up an estimate and sent that to me. On move day, his guys showed up on time and ready to work! They were friendly, professional, hard working, and most of all, respectful of the house and my furniture. Corey and crew were great to work with. I highly recommend them for any moving job, and would use them again if I ever have to move in the future.
