And the two movers on the day were prompt, efficient, and very enjoyable people to be around as well. When we researched the pricing and customer satisfaction of Desert Apex Movers compared to others, they became our clear choice winner. Only one or two others had slightly lower costs but not near the number of reviews to back up their performance or good first impressions you get from the phone or internet. (Local move from Gilbert to North Phoenix AZ) Zach's company is no-nonsense, straightforward, and well worth the very reasonable prices he charges. After my scheduled movers cancelled on my while they were standing in my driveway I frantically called every mover that came up on Google. Thank goodness Desert Apex Movers were able to fit me in last minute on a Saturday at the end of the month. Cory and Truman came out and they are rockstars! The previous company refused to take anything that wasn't in a sealed box. DAM brought their own boxes and packed up random loose items I had planned on moving myself. They made sure everything was secure and protected, nothing was scratched, dented or broken. It was a stressful day but Cory and Truman were joking and having a good time which really helped ease my stress. They were so easy to work with. I would almost say they made the move fun. Let's face it. Moving is stressful for everyone. For me it was particularly stressful because my move required multiple steps in order for me to finally get settled. That's where Zack and the good guys at Desert Apex Movers came in! I have two storage units that contained a lifetime of belongings. In addition, I also had some pretty big/heavy items at my father's home a few miles away. Zack helped me coordinate the day of the move so that we knocked out the small storage locker (requiring use of the elevator) first thing in the morning. Once completed, we drove over to my pop's house to pick up a handful of additional items including a stand up piano and separate electric piano. By time we arrived at the town house (where all living space is on the second level), the storm clouds came in and we were hit with some pretty foul weather. The movers took it all in good stride, while carefully and methodically working around the rain to keep my stuff as dry as possible. By afternoon they were back at the storage facility to load up the last batch out of the second storage unit on the main floor. We wrapped up just in time for dinner. Add to this, a week later Zack arranged for his movers to help us with some remaining items that needed to go back and forth between my father's home and mine. I honestly, don't know another mover in the local area who would have been as patient, flexible and fair in their pricing for what I needed and am so grateful for their help this past month. We first hired Desert Apex when we first moved to AZ. Zach's team worked hard in hot weather and unloaded our moving truck at the storage and at our house. After buying a house, I hired them again to move my furniture from one house to another (a short local move). I called Zach and I gave him the details. He quickly whipped up an estimate and sent that to me. On move day, his guys showed up on time and ready to work! They were friendly, professional, hard working, and most of all, respectful of the house and my furniture. It's always a little difficult scurrying the web with reviews and the hundreds of moving companies in the valley. I was tired of reading yelp, google and checking the BBB for who would take pride and care of moving my stuff from point A to B. Desert Apex Movers came as a recommendation from another online site and I am glad that I chose them. For a new company, these guys work really hard. I had the wonderful experience of working with both Cory and Truman and they were on time, diligent and careful and overall made it look easy. I am type A, so details matters to me. I didn't see these guys lounging around to take any unnecessary breaks. They even helped move a very fragile mirror and help me put my bed together. Corey and crew were great to work with. I highly recommend them for any moving job, and would use them again if I ever have to move in the future. I was nervous about the condition of the furniture, as we have a lot of big, heavy wood, glass, and metal pieces, but I shouldn't have worried, as they took the time to carefully protect all furniture. Desert Apex helped us move from a second floor apartment to another second floor apartment today, and they were amazing. Extremely polite, and they didn't meander to run the clock up. I didn't see them stop or take any breaks, they came and got the job done. They were super careful and wrapped everything.
