Update: Still no way to log out of their website after paying my rent. I finally figured out how to contact the website host they used to create the site. They actually got back to me with a message saying my personal info was secure, including the credit card I used. Fine, however, management here has been rather lax about the whole thing. I do not appreciate this. I have had this storage space for at least 25 years. Seems like they might show a little more interest in making their clients happy. It is now 1/21/26. NO word from Chris. I still cannot log out of their website. I have removed my personal info from their profile, which is about all I can do. WILL never again use their website to pay my storage rent. Suggest no one else does either. read more

This 'Mom and Pop' storage business truly cares about its customers and I'm happy to give them my business! I live in LA but my parents are from the area, and we both visit the facility. The prices are excellent and so is the customer service. Chris, the young man who manages the office, is patient, understanding and keeps it classy and professional. I'm questioning the review posted by a disgruntled customer. First of all, Chris has gone above and beyond to help me and my parents with my concerns and questions, and treats people with respect. I've also seen him retain an impressive level of patience in the presence of irrational and rude behavior. Furthermore, although rodents and insects are par for the course at any storage facility, I've NEVER seen a rodent in our storage, or rodent damage. However I have seen evidence of pest control, so it seems like they truly do care about preventing any infestations and are taking proper precautions. I cant say enough good things to describe the great customer service you get from this place. Chris is excellent and goes over and above the expectations you would have for a storage unit manager. Horrible experience would never recommend this place. We were kicked out due to the manager Chris being too easily inconvenience every time we had to go there. I also never knew which Chris I was going to get, the nice polite one or the passive aggressive and snarky one we have always made our payments and made them on time we've always worked around their needs and then to be told that they were inconvenienced by us was an absolute shock. The next day we went and found another place and we're told that we were going to be reimbursed for the money we had already paid for for the month and a month-and-a-half later we still have seen nothing. Even after I followed up and was told that we would be reimbursed. I would give it no stars if I could. read more

I am compelled to write this in regards to my recent interaction with Chris at Springview Storage. My wife and I have had 1-3 storage units at Springview for the past several years when we lived in Roseville. I have known Chris for several years. He was always extremely cordial in my dealings with him. My wife and I relocated, but we still have 2 storage units at Springview. My wife went to Roseville with my daughter and while there, she wanted to get a few things from storage and bring it back to our home which is 3 hours away. My daughter, who also had a storage unit for several years tried to go to storage to retrieve some items and was not allowed access wit her vehicle. She was told graciously that she could walk to the unit and Chris would offer her a cart if needed to get some stuff and carry it to her car. So, today I called Chris to ask what I could do to allow access to my wife and daughter. That we lived 3 hours away and when either my wife or daughter were down in Rocklin we would be getting our items from time to time. I asked Chris if I could send him a message allowing my wife and daughter access. He said unfortunately they can't do that. They need to have you sign a document. I asked if I could fax a document. He said they don't do faxing. I said "does that mean I have to come down to sign a piece of paper"? He said "no. You can use USPS and send us a letter". So basically my wife and daughter can either carry our things from storage to the front gate or use a cart. They are not allowed to drive in to our unit. I do t have any problems with rules. What I have a problem with is how Chris spoke to me about the rules, which was in a very condescending manner. Rudeness does not get you far in business and Chris needs to step back and re-learn how to treat his customers. He is so stuck on making sure you "understand the rules", that he forgets that he is acting in such a condescending way. No need to go into more detail other than to say, if you're looking for a place to store your "stuff", stay away from Springview Storage. I will make every effort to get my 2 units cleared out as soon as I can. Like I said earlier Chris, take some classes on how to interact with your "paying" custo 12/11/19 I am writing this addendum to my original review. I have been in contact with Chris at Springview Storage several times and my interactions with Chris have been very professional. We have been able to move forward with our business relationship and I want to thank Chris for reaching out to me. This was a great recovery on behalf of Chris and I can now say that I would definitely recommend Springview Storage. This place is great and I have read some of the negative reviews and those people must have serious issues. Because it is a friendly and respectful atmosphere. I'm a fairly new customer of Springview Storage. I'm in transition between Southern California and Northern California. In working with the facility manager, Chris, it was refreshing to have a young person so professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. The price that was quoted to me for my storage unit was absolutely reasonable, as I'd checked with other storage companies in the area. Also, it's nice to do business with a 'mom and pop' type of establishment as opposed to one of the larger corporations. I feel like it gives doing business with them more of a 'personal touch'. read more

The guys who work here are lazy condescending and rude. Horrible Horrible service and many units are too difficult to access with a truck or car- very narrow drive ways that you can't drive straight through. You have to do 3 point turns and back into rows to access many units. False advertisement of monthly rates, bait and switch. Sign posted out front says 5x10 for $20/month that is really $44/month for a hard to reach unit managed by jerks. read more

Horrible experience! I started renting from them a couple months ago because of the good reviews and rates. About a month into my rental, I accessed my unit (which was ONLY storing clothing, boxes of paperwork, my children's childhood memories, common household items and a few small furniture items) and found all my stuff to be chewed up by rodents and completely covered in rodent feces and urine. They chewed things that should have never attracted them in the first place. The items that weren't destroyed by the chewing were destroyed by the urine. I threw out boxes upon boxes of clothes, pictures, and memories. I reported it to the office immediately and the woman basically said "oh bummer". I gave my proper 30 day notice and reported it again to the manager who echoed the "oh bummer" mentality. I went to retrieve the rest of my belongings today, only to find even MORE rodent destruction. The remaining items were so drenched in rodent urine and feces that I didn't even want to load it into my truck. I went to the office again to ask if there was a garbage I could put my damaged property in and was told I had to haul it off myself. I asked to have the owner call me because again I was told "there's nothing we can do" and was told there was no guarantee I would get a call because he's hard to get ahold of. I was then told I probably brought the rodents in with me when I moved my belongings in. I'm furious, I'm heartbroken, and I'm EXTREMELY disappointed in the lack of customer service and compassion by this business. I wouldn't want anyone to go through this! read more

This place is a joke!!! Nice one minute and unpredictable the next and very passive aggressive. I have been storing my 30 ft 5th wheel for about a year in a space at the back side of the property. There is only one way in and one way out, so there was an agreement they would open the pad locked gate when I needed to get my trailer out which is approximately 4 times a year. Today (10/11/19) while I was removing my trailer, I was told I would have to find another location to store my trailer due to the "inconvenience" of him having to unlock the gate . This place opens the same pad locked gate for another trailer about 3 times a year, but I guess that extra 1 or 2 times is just too much for them to handle.....But you get what you pay for I guess...Owner stated he would send a refund via mail for the remaining days of the month that were paid and it was never received. read more

I have had nothing but good experiences with Springview Mini Storage. I recently went up there to add more stuff to my stuff. I've been a customer for years, they've never raised the rent, and I've never had any problems. I love supporting local small businesses. The staff was pleasant, the place was clean, my stuff was in good shape. Can't complain! read more

Super great little storage place! The prices are a little lower than others in the area, and the guy who works there is very helpful and very friendly! He is professional, friendly, and responsive. The office hours are pretty good, too. The only downside to Springview mini storage are the gate hours. The units are accessible until 7:00pm, which can limit when one can go during the week, understandable though since this is a family run place. All units are drive up though! Rented a storage unit for 2 years. Chris , the manager lives on site so we never worried about security. He also is one of the nicest, most courteous person's I've done business with. The grounds are always clean , and when we moved out we couldn't believe how clean our unit stayed! After 2 years we couldn't even find a spider or cob web. I have been a loyal customer since 2006 and I am amazed at the wonderful things that are happening there and the great staff. I deal a lot with Chris and he is fantastic, nice, kind and always very helpful in anyway possible. I do not think he has a bad bone in his body. I think others that write bad reviews have other agendas. This place is a great local mom and pop type of storage facility. They live right on the property so all of our things are very safe and they are the cheapest rates in town. Good job Chris!!! Way to go management keeping it affordable for us. read more

I'm shocked to see they dont have 5 out of 5 stars! the manager Chris is the is reason it should b 5 stars. He is by far the best of any manager I have ever seen for not only storage facilities but any customer service business. Its like having a family member manage your storage unit for you. If not for Chris I would not have continued my rental there. The facility itself is great too. Its clean, easy to get in and out of, and reasonably priced. I was very satisfied with using this storage facility. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable.

Rude and dishonest. Advertise specials as a bait and switch and pick and choose who and what discounts they will honor. They advertise that their storage units are a certain amount of square feet, but this is not true. The property manager is too young and immature for his position. He followed us to our unit and asked us to leave because he had "better things to do". We took a tape measurement of my unit in front of the property manager to show him we had been advertised falsely and shorted many square feet which left us unable to use the unit and he became upset and asked us to leave the property. They "average out the units from the outer walls". Typically in any commercial property, the squared footage is taken from the inside. As a storage facility, they should know that- and as professionals, they should have acted accordingly. Upon turning in keys and asking for a prorated refund, we were denied access and were even accused of damaging property and threatened with further charges. The property owner was just as rude and unresponsive. They were argumentative, refused our refund are probably double renting our now empty unit. Very unprofessional "business". Another place that only cares about money and not its operation and customers... AVOID. read more
