Here it goes... Let's start with the fact that I had called SCSS on New Years Eve at approximately 12:30 pm, and I had come to discover that the office had closed about 30 minutes prior for the holiday. They offered to stay and wait for me to show me around. I had declined, but the offer itself was very generous! I had told them I would be back that week... Later that week, we had stopped by to take a tour of the place. Very, very, very, very clean! It was like it was a brand new facility. I had known about this facility for some time and remember when it had opened what seems like a decade ago and it still looks like it had just opened. The security features of the facility are top notch for its price level! I loved how each unit has fire sprinklers... you may say "Well what if your stuff gets wet?" I would rather it get wet than get burned, at least you can still tell what it was! The facility is well laid out, and they even make sure that plastic mats are laid down in each unit to minimize moisture! That's huge! In my opinion, the most important aspect of a storage unit is the management. I have yet to meet his wife, but Sonny is on another level of service. He is so nice, super accommodating, easy to talk to, and he runs a tight ship! When we signed for the storage unit, it was raining A LOT and was gusty, yet Sonny jumped into his cart and immediately cleaned out our unit and dried it off and left towels for us so that we could dry anything we needed. He really made us feel right at home from the very beginning. I can't say enough good things about this man. I have opted to bring in a check for all of my payments rather than opting for automatic payments so that I can catch up with Sonny and the rest of his staff.

Always nice and clean - so i never thought to put lids on everyyythijg since i was trying to downsize and move to Florida . I came home after i year Away ... There had a rat infestation aND ALLL OF MY expensive clothing and shoes/heels/boots were Ruined. I had a Louis Vuitton bag in there that got ruined as well. These rats peed and pooped And left dander ALL OVER MY BELONGINGS WITH some sort of dust OR DANDER over every Single thing i own. I live in FLORIDA so i came back just to close my storage unit without knowing all of my thousands or dollars Worth of clothing was ruined (even some louboutins and Louis Vuitton's !!" A It was Thanksgiving week and I only had one day to execute the closing of the storage. We were going to take everything and sell it or take it home... But instead, everything was ruined and needed to be destroyed.. we had a car only with her dog in it, and we could not put all the items in our car because they were contaminated with urine and feces of rays. It was absolutely traumatizing and disgusting . The only help we got was Josh telling us that there was nothing they could do and that our unit needed cleaned out and brushed with a broom clean, even though all the shit poop piss and dander was from the disgusting rats that had invaded . Dirty units unhelpful people would never ever ever recommend although Josh is nice. I'm sure there's just limits to what he can do.

With only a few hours notice the owners of Treelake accommodated my every need. The owners are the nicest people ever. They were very helpful, even with equipment in need of a little repair. The facility is in a beautiful area. Its clean, secure, and monitored. I now have an RV, a car trailer, and a horse trailer stored at their facility. Prices are very reasonable and affordable. The owners treat you like family. I am beyond greatfull and fortunate to have found this storage facility as well as two amazing people. I would recommend Treelake storage to everyone.
