I used Yelp to get several quotes and I picked Sacramento Brothers because they had the best quote and quick communication. They showed up the day of the move on time and got right to work. The truck was packed before I knew it without incident. I was also leaving a couple things behind and they were thoughtful enough to move them downstairs for me. They showed up at the new place quickly and started unloading ASAP. I had leaf a couple things I needed across town so I left them to it. By the time I got back they were finished. They quoted me a 3 hour minimum and finished just before 3 hours. They didn't try to pad the time at all and the bill was exactly what they quoted me. I'll definitely use Sacramento Brothers next time I move and they even offer a small discount for repeat customers. You should definitely at least get a quote from them if read all this.

I scheduled a move fairly close to my move date and they were able to come out same day for a quote. The quote was very competitive and came with a large trailer. The day before the move she called to let me know something was preventing the trailer from getting to us but that they'd provide two trucks (more room) no charge instead. The crew was very friendly and efficient. They wrapped our items well as promised, packed the truck thoughtfully, and worked hard. They showed up on time and delivered on time. This move was incredibly stressful for my family for a number of reasons, but Tetris made it 10x easier and I'm so grateful for that! Thank you!!

I called a couple of different companies to provide an estimate but only this company (rep's name is Ifpekar) would personally drive to my residence to provide an accurate and fair estimate. Other companies wanted me to send photos and the square footage of the house to provide a rough estimate. Additionally, other companies wanted to charge by the hour while the college Hunk rep provided a firm cost estimate which they honored. On moving day the three workers showed up on time and went right to work. They carefully wrapped many of my valuable items (couches, tables, clocks, etc) and managed to safely get the heavy items out of the house and into the van. The workers delivered the goods and placed them inside my residence where desired. Workers labored the entire day and after a early morning start finished around 5 PM. When looking for a small, local business to support your moving needs I'd definitely give this company a call.

We were very excited to use college hunks when moving to our first home from an apartment…read more Unfortunately, I can't recommend them... 1) they showed up to the door wearing sweatshirts and sweatpants. I didn't know they were with the company at first because they weren't in uniform and the trick was a rental and didn't have their branding. 2) we moved from a 2nd story apartment to a one story house with 2 steps inside and hardwood floors, which was all disclosed prior to booking. The over stacked the dolly and rolled it down the concrete stairs causing a lot of rough trauma to our belongings. Our TV Stand was damaged. 3) When we got to the house, we had to stop the movers from going further into the house because they came in with 3 VERY heavy boxes on the dolly and went down the hardwood step roughly onto the other with the dolly. The wood panel on the Edge of the step broke as a result. We stopped them from utilizing the dolly after that. Overall, they moved all our belongings in one trip in less than 2.5 hours. It relieved stress but I can't recommend them, especially if you have nice items you plan to move.

However, I needed to schedule movers in less than a week and the local independent businesses were booked or not returning my calls, so I opted to call Two Men and a Truck and I am very glad that I did! I am a retired Air Force member and have been through numerous professionally procured moves and I am not embellishing when I say this was the best move I've experienced. My wife and I moved from a 3 bedroom house (to include garage items and patio furniture) to a location an hour away. We didn't have time for a back and forth operation with one truck so we hired two trucks and 4 men to do the job. The movers were on time and completed the job in HALF the time I was accustomed to relative to moves in my Air Force career. Ultimately their speedy pace cost less than I had anticipated/budgeted for which is a good thing. Furthermore, while they were quick, they were also VERY careful with our belongings and did a thorough job of wrapping with pads and plastic wrap (also impressive considering how fast they were as a team). I would like to make a note that thorough preparation on the part of the customer is necessary to facilitate a quick move regardless of the moving company. Having all boxes packed and staged by size, flammables set aside (for the customer to move themselves), gas powered lawn equipment drained of fuel and oil, as well as light bulbs removed from lamps, etc. makes the difference in how quickly the movers can operate. So with all that said, if Yelp rated on a scale of one to ten, with ten being "Woohoo! As good as it gets!", these movers cranked it to eleven!

I am a single person moving 2 bedrooms and garage…read morestorage items one city over and the 2 guys that came were initially enthusiastic and after looking at everything that I already packed confirmed that the 2 guys could move me within the 3 hour paid window of time. Not only did they go over the 3 hours forcing me to pay several hundred dollars more than originally quoted but also broke several items that were valuable. Apparently they are given a 30minute break where they left and 8 drawer dresser tilted up on its side in the new garage for that whole time breaking the plastic settings the drawer rails for into preventing the drawers from being able to slide in and out smoothly. Why they left a dresser sit on its side like that and disappear into their truck is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They told me originally that I could leave the drawers full but then the movers complained that it was too heavy for them and to remove the drawers. Needless to say the $1800 dresser was ruined because once the drawers were removed with the plastic clip pieces broken and the silver rolling balls all over the ground feom the drawer track, the dresser was being damaged. I even watched one of the movers walk around the corner to get high from my upstairs bedroom window. This is the worst moving experience and poor customer service in any of my moves, and I would never use them again or recommend them to anyone. You are better off hiring strangers through Craigslist to move you. This was the worst experience of my life with movers! I helped the entire time and worked even when they took their break and stood arguing with me that they would not lift my dresser without the drawers being removed and then I was charged several hundred dollars more because of that whole ordeal. Plus, all of the other damaged items and scrapes and scrapes and dent indentations on the wood material of bed frame etc... and those things were wrapped and still received damage from their movers. Ridiculous! Don't give your money to this company... they do not deserve your business.
