I've used many storage facilities, and this is by far the cleanest one I've used. The staff was also very friendly. The only negative thing I have to say is beware of the requirement to provide a 30 day notice before you decide to empty your storage. All of the other storage facilities that I've used didn't require a 30 day notice. So when I went into the office to close my account, I was asked if I gave my 30 day notice. As she asked that, I vaguely remembered going over that when signing the contract with them. It was definitely my fault. I just want to warn people so they don't make the same mistake, because they will charge you an extra month. So I'm paying for a unit that I'm not even using. Stopped by because we've been debating on renting a unit to free up some space of seasonal items and to get my garage back. Susan was so helpful took me all around to look at the different units and found the right size. Great customer service. Very clean. Checked out the 5x5 and the 5x10. A smidge cheaper than the one across the way. Fairly brand new facility. Just like your own house/garage there are spiders but they had spider traps outside. read more

I've looked at several different storage facilities in Rocklin and all were easy to book online, but I had questions in which I needed to talk to someone. I was able to speak with Dylan at Stanford Ranch Self Storage and he was so informative and patient with assisting me in what our needs were. We needed to rent for a couple of weeks and a size 10 x 30 drive up storage. He recommended that I call back a week from when I needed it and he actually called me when the time came. He gave me options outside of renting and tried to fingered out the numbers and sizes. I had the pleasure of booking a 10 x 30 with him. When I came in to do more paperwork and setup the account, Susan the Resident Manager was just as kind, friendly and informative! She gave me a tour of my rental, the passcode areas, and just made the transaction run smoothly. Today I went over to load some items in the storage and as usual, Susan remembered my name and offered water since it was a hot day. Going to use them again if I need a storage. If you're thinking about renting from here, I suggest you go elsewhere. I've been renting for over 6 months and the BLACK WIDOWS are getting out of hand in my unit. I have already seen 5 in my unit now and I'm actually worried about moving my stuff out next week. Not to mention the dirt and dust issue for outside units. There is a major spider infestation at this place. After explaining the issue to the lady at the counter, she was offended by my feedback and told me "our units are the cleanest". She was so rude and wouldn't even let me come inside the office to figure out a game plan, it was 100°. I told her that I will no longer do business with this place. I literally went across the street to the other storage place and I receive a quote $55 cheaper for the same size unit that would be INDOORS. I was invited in to the cold AC office and offered water. If you care about your health, safety & belongings, avoid this place. You will over-pay for a horrible experience and rude, emotionally unstable, & triggered management. read more

Amazing customer service and immediate assistance from Susan! I have never needed storage before and she made it easy. She answered the phone immediately and I was there same day with a unit to fit my need. She looked for the best deal, explained it thoroughly. The site is clean as can be. The other customers at their units all waved hello to her while I was with her to view two different sizes. She showed me both locations so I could make a choice of what I preferred. Extremely horrible customer service. I will never recommend this business to anyone. Susan (the lady who is in charge at the front desk) was very rude towards my girlfriend and I. She is very quick to snap. When we first started renting from this place she was okay but we had an incident one night we were finishing up putting things into our storage unit and ended up being 2 minutes past 8pm and she came up to my girlfriend and I raising her voice that we need to leave or else the cops would have been called. Another incident that happened was that we put in a 7 day notice to cancel our unit so that we would be out the last day of the month (mind you that we paid for the whole month of storage) and susan called us the following day after giving our cancellation notice telling us that we will be charged the full amount for the next month if our lock isn't off of our unit ASAP. Again, we have paid for the whole month of storage and still had 6 days remaining but the business practically gave us an ultimatum to take our lock off that day or be charged $155 for a whole additional month. Horrible customer service. I would not advise anyone to go through them. Take your business elsewhere for a cheaper price and better service. If you are a storage unit holder at this location just be aware that the brunette lady at the front counter will snap on you if she has to deal with any type of inconvenience. read more

Very personable, friend and well versed in their answers to my questions. The unit I had was clean and easily accessible. The in/out process was easy to operate and the whole experience was a 5 star all the way. The Stanford Ranch storage facility is quite a distance from where I live but, having known Susan for quite some time and then seeing the cleanliness of the units, I was willing to store not often used items there. Dylan, like Susan is also very friendly and helpful. I don't understand how anyone could write something negative about either of them. In all the years I've known her, I've never know Susan to be rude or quick tempered. On the contrary, she maintains composure and handles things professionally even in the most difficult of situations and with the most difficult people. read more

Recently my wife and I moved in with family while waiting for our new home to be completed. We rented a 10x25 storage unit here and were really pleased. Susan was helpful and friendly at every step, from the initial tour and sign-up, through our tenancy, and our final checkout. The gate always worked, and lighting was always available if I needed it. The unit itself was clean, well-maintained, and its rolling door shut securely with a good seal. I'm a bit farther away now than when I first rented the unit, but if I need storage in the future Stanford Ranch Self Storage will be first on my list. read more

We are in the process of moving to the area and we are currently renting 2 units. Every time we arrive the staff and owners are incredibly friendly and helpful, always offering cold water to combat the heat. They are always available to let us in to use their bathroom after our long drive and it is always clean. In the beginning of our renting experience my family and I would arrive in two separate cars and that would mean opening the gate twice using our code. This would trigger an alarm to go off since we entered twice and our door to our unit was unlocked and open. Every time this would happen an owner would come out to our unit and make sure that everything was ok and no one was breaking in and everyone was safe. We really appreciate the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners and they do a great job! read more

I needed two large storage units and Stanford Ranch Self Storage had what I needed. I was happy to take advantage of the half-price offer for the first two months. The managers, Mike and Jennine, are very helpful and friendly. This storage facility is new; they just opened in April of 2019. The storage units are clean and secure and the grounds are very attractive. They also offer free use of a good-sized moving truck for move-in. Rates seem too high. I have a 10x10' unit one block away and the standard pricing is almost 30% less. I was hoping to see them be competitive when first opening but I guess they can wait for the facility one block away to fill up before collecting higher rents. I posted comments on their Reivew page, but I think because it was negative they suppressed it. I would recommend Extra Space Storage one block down the street instead. read more
